I enjoyed the fast paced environment and getting to interact with a lot of different customers

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part was the heavy workload during peak times like baseball season. The fast pace and high customer volume required a lot of multitasking and staying calm under pressure.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment was extremely busy and often stressful. Workloads were not always distributed fairly, and there were noticeable favorites among staff which made teamwork challenging.

A typical day involved handling a high volume of customers, multitasking between different responsibilities, and keeping up with the fast pace

Where do I begin? I worked in the kitchen here for way longer than i should have. The head chef (and all management) and VERY unprofessional (to say the least). Any problems or issues that arose were swept under the rug and heavily covered up. Management would rather fire someone than actually report something to HR. Employees would come into work under the influence or drugs or alcohol and the people in charge of the kitchen wouldn't care because they were all doing it too. EXTREMELY TOXIC environment. When I asked for raise (they're supposed to give a review/raise every six months according to their policy), the head chef laughed and refused to even give me a chance to make more. There is NO potential for growth and everyone is GROSSLY overworked and underpaid. SAVE YOUR TIME!

This company is going through massive shifts in culture right now due to being bought out by a larger company. There is no local control of processes, as the new owner is demanding changes that are changing the process and culture of work. There is also a large SJW presence in the office that is always on the look out for people with opinions of there own and common sense. 
Work is generally doing nothing every day, and then putting out fires that you walked by for weeks and tried to get the management staff to pay attention to when they were still small. Your efforts will be wasted and you will learn nothing, but free beer!

The camaraderie and employee benefits.  Ability to cross-train and learn new things.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Changing shift times.  Three different shift.  Can be difficult to adjust  from day shift to night shift.

Inclusive - everyone gets along well and feels like family.

Come in, work in assigned areas and assist where needed.

The opportunity to advance more in the company and growth in knowledge with production and passion for beer

Keeping busy completing goals and task for everyone good moral good days ahead

Management really sets the tone and the managers here are not motivated or inspiring. Probably why no one there has lasted more that 2 years, the turn over rate is ridiculous. Low moral working here not to mention the toxic work environment. Hostile work environment due to one Chef always screaming at his employees and wanting to "handle things across the street". Not a great place to work.

I genuinely enjoy going into work at Golden Road. The team and the management are so great to work with. Everyone looks out for each other and really works as a team to not only make the guests happy, but also because we respect the company and want to reflect how awesome it is to our guests. I firmly believe employees work harder and better when treated with respect and appreciation and Golden Road has definitely proved that to me.

I enjoyed this position. Got laid off during the pandemic because I broke my wrist but they encouraged me to reapply once it was healed. Generally nice coworkers and great benefits. 

It was pretty cool but there was no air conditioning, standing out in the sun and guests would complain about the heat often. Splitting tips sucked but it wasn't terrible. Only really liked working with one manager, another would lose her cool even though I wasn't trained on certain things. Overall I don't hate the experience. 

Upper management and director roles do not understand the concept that in order to provide friendly and great service, their employees need to be happy. They hire anyone and everyone just to fill empty positions due to high turnover.
