My typical day consisted of morning sales meetings and going over pipeline reports and get the deal to the table.

I learned as always that time management is an important part of sales and production.

My co-workers were professional and good to work with.

The hardest part of the job is getting through the bureaucratic process to get sales booked.

The most enjoyable part of my day is meeting or beating my expectations

Management is abysmal, everyone is a VP. They are clueless on ever changing processes and the system. Getting anything approved or corrected is a trial in patience as  they can only be reached via teams. They have been through multiple servicers in eight months.  Favoritism is rampant as employees came over in pods from other banks. The pay looks ok but health insurance is expensive and the other benefits don't make up for it.  Be prepared to be overworked and unappreciated at the end of the day,

There is no communication. Favoritism runs rampant.  Extreme micromanagement and promotes an environment where it is encouraged to make complaints about each other to stay in favor. Management expects long hours to obtain unrealistic goals and to be available for calls outside of work hours otherwise you are perceived as not a team player or not doing you job. Speaking up is NOT encouraged.

They company brokered out their mortgages as the person who founded the bank left. We basically had contact with the representatives in which the bank used in order to close the loans.  I would package a deal to send over to the bank.

Overall, the work life was good. However, the pay was not satisfying. It was a good learning experience, and I learned a lot throughout my time there. The VP has sat with me and taught me new things that I did not know before.

I would and have recommended Hanover to friends.  The work was easy and the hours were good.  It's just a shame that at the time the mortgage department was unable to grow as planned.

You can be fired for literally anything at any time. Favoritism(discrimination) at its best. Just not a healthy environment. The hours were decent and pay but other than that I wouldn’t recommend

Offers a good learning experience for those entering the banking world. Just like every other retail business, the turnover rate is high. Management shows high interest in daily activities.

Very good environment. People willing to help you. I completed an internship and I learned a lot. Staff is very welcoming and it's a growing bank. Definitely an experience that I would do again.

Management was always on top of everything. The day to day was ran smoothly. All the staff were awesome as well I really enjoyed working here. I would definitely recommend working here
