Good way to get your foot in the door in the medical administrative role. But it’s truly not worth having to deal with management. Having worked in a couple different contracts for DGMC I can truly say this was at the bottom of the barrel. They try to be “hands on” while across the country and it comes off as condescending. While having harassment problems with other co-workers I was told to give them some time. Then being told to stop talking with my military counterparts about the issues hat they didn’t ever want to fix. I felt like all this company cares about is filling a spot and see their employees as numbers and not as people. So this is a stepping stone position definitely not a career 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Management is very helpful and easy to access Management is focused on employees development. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Absolutely nothing - very easy company to work with 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work independently so I don't have a lot of contact with company 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Work independently at a Naval Medical Clinic from 7 am to 3:30 pm. Making appointments, checking in patients for appointments and ensuring paperwork is up to date.

I would NEVER recommend this company to work for. We were put in a HOSTILE, VOLTAIRE situation. The CEO of this company was very aware of the situation and let us know that one of the other employee that had done all the damage would be terminated. They had the chance to terminate them and chose not to. They say they care about their employees but going through all of that there is no way you could trust them. Stay far away from this company. They will just LIE to you. 

They are too demanding, deadlines are impossible. The workload is overwhelming with not enough employees or pay. They lose employees on the daily and cannot hold a steady contract. They do not want you to use PTO and they are very strict about your breaks and when you go to the bathroom. Management is always argumentative and not understanding. Contracts don’t last therefore you are stuck between them trying to find work for you

They expect one person to do way too much. They put a lot in their employees with very little training. I did a lot of self training. Worked for 2.5 years before receiving a raise. And do not cut up or joke around with another employee or you may get terminated. More times than not when you contact management about an issue they do not respond and then you get in trouble for discussing with another employee. Do not recommend working here. 

Very toxic work environment! Absolutely no job security! The company is good with advancement but horrible with job security. Company has a revolving door mainly due to narcissistic management. Company policies are very flawed and inconsistent.

I haven't actually been on my own yet but living in a small town I have very limited jobs that pay enough to support my family. I was able to be interviewed and never felt more comfortable. The management has been quick to answer questions regarding the job and working from home. 

I'd recommend for anyone who has experience in billing. 

If you are late back from lunch by 5 minutes you have to put in a request or you will get an email about it. Cant really be sick without the management making you feel worse than you already do. Per my contract, the company or management get paid every 15 minutes I am clocked in, so they are very very rude about taking time off or calling out. Don't qualify for FMLA either due to not having enough people around

What is the best part of working at the company?
I really enjoy working for HPMG! Communication is wonderful and overall a great working atmosphere! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Honestly nothing! If a situation arises, the company is great with communicating a plan of action!

I was scared to go to work daily because of the way Management would pin employees against each other.  The work place culture was so negative and highly unprofessional.  I felt like I was back in high school, only worse.
