1-  If you are desperate for work, call Healthcare Support, THIS IS THE PLACE for you, if you like being abused take the assignment, If you don’t want to get paid for holidays, sick time and work for free.........work with Healthcare Support. If you don’t mind going hungry, or skipping a break, this is the perfect place for you and working passed your 8 hrs without pay and getting home in the darkness this is the place for you. Welcome to Healthcare Support.

2- Healthcare Support   WILL GIVE YOU THAT ASSIGNMENT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU REALLY DO!!!    They are in Orlando a  big big hint and red flag right there. They will send you to a reputable company and the company will treat you like  dirt because your first name is ‘Temp’.  The company you go to does not pay you, it’s  Healthcare Support that pays you. Healthcare Support will make you feel you got a really good hourly rate to work temp, and then you will find out all the other temps that left or is with you makes the same $$$ regardless of r experience and degrees haha.

3- Your training is  a joke at the company they will send you to.   The company is aware that you are a temp and so are all of the other employees who are noticing temps coming and going, Very high turnover rate with temps. You will get that “that drive thru training" and expect to do a job well done.

4- The reputable company’s training technique is " I want you to just look and don’t  take notes, you learn better this way when you pay attention instead of bending down and writing".  You might as well bend over and take it.  The last requirement to hold on to your job is “ learn how to understand the English language spoken with a thick accent so thick it’s like mud. You might as well say you are part Latin, or you chances to stay on will continue to be very slim.  This is the kind of reputable place they send you, where the clicks are.


5- Your name is temp with no photo to your badge, ask for a photo and get a promise and an excuse the camera is broken. You will work well pass your contracted weeks, and your days will turn into nights because you will still be there trying to finish all the work that nobody wanted and  those assignments will be the worse (it’s not a real contract, you can walk anytime you want to with Healthcare Support, they will not tell you that) You will not get paid for more than 8 hours, so, the sooner you get done with the work the better.


6-  3 mths will go by and you  will still be there hanging on working like an animal on the abusive job  wondering if they’re going to offer you a full time position. You will think you put in the time, the extra hours without pay and think you have landed the job. Then again they can say “well we abused you for 10-12 wks and without warning we don’t need you anymore, can’t afford you full time”. Please dont contact us, you have an agency to call.    Will they tell you that, well not in your face, they will be deactivating all your access as the day go along, you will be experiencing TECHNOLOGICAL issues towards the end of the day, not understanding why and when you log out, that will be your last day.  As they were monitoring your computer all day to see when to shut you down.


7- As you step into you house a phone call will come in while you are getting ready for dinner, and Healthcare Support will tell you, don’t bother to go back, the reputable company said your contract is over even if it was before time, and if its passed the 3 mths, ‘We’re sorry, we feel you are not a good match for our company’.

8- The last nurse there lasted 8 mths without a full time job offer and they threw her to the curb.  Another nurse, was on the cusp of her 10 – 12 weeks and they also threw her to the curb, they have no intentions of bringing anyone in full time, unless you really know how to brown nose very nicely, because it will just cost them more money, versus getting a fresh body.

9-   Healthcare Support  gets paid for the temp work, so if you go full time they’re screwed. They will convince to stay temp as along as possible and tell you to stay calm and tell you wait and  see ‘IF’ they offer  you the job that is burning you to a crisp.  If you like your nursing license, preserve it and never go there. The stress level for you will be very high and it will send you into a whirlwind of questions to .Healthcare Support. This is where replacement begins, they know the s/s are are recurring with this 'temp', lets replace now.

10- If  you have questions on how to complete your job, your manager is never around “always in the other office”,you might as well pack it up because no one will have time to help you do your job and their job.  Remember you are only a temp you do not count. If you tell  Healthcare Support what’s going on, they will always tell you how much the manager loves you so they can get another day of commission.

The hardest part of the job is “ knowing you work so hard and they will kick you to the curb too, when you least expected it “ The most enjoyable part was getting a chance to run to my car, without turning back, and that’s one hour later after the time you are supposed to go home.

Take a  job from Healthcare Support to work in Fort Lauderdale and they wiill burn you to the ground, you might even go home upset and weepy. Your family will suffer, you will be stressed out and you will go home and kick the dog, cat, bird, etc, you may even get sick and you wont be able to go to the Doctor. The company they send you to consist of medical professionals who doubts when you are sick.  HCS are not medical professionals and they have no idea what your job entails, though their talk sounds good.

I got THROWN to the curbside like an animal with minge and I was doing a great job, because one day I called sick for two days, yet I was looking haggard and it showed when I returned.  Little did I know  clock was ticking with them obviously, as I was going to be replaced because the 'clicks' thought maybe I wasnt sick enough to be out.

HCS called me and told dont go back my contract has ended which was not true. I have always told them this is too much work for such little training, too much is expected.  They said the more experience you have the more work you will get, and this was from the manager.  I was out of a job at the blink of eye because I had a voice., and this is a temp agency that did not stand up for me, they made the phone call and called my assignment quits without asking me, sink or swim. Home or homeless, you decided.

The next day, after I picked myself up from the floor, as someone from HCS decided my family's fate, I went to another Temp Agency that actually had benefits being a temp, good training, and excellent pay that matched My expectations and GUESS WHAT IM  FULL TIME 1 MONTH LATER. Now you know what to do fellow nurses.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The staffing company acts as a liaison between employee and employer.  The employer, if contracted, can end the contract for any reason even if it's a false accusation as in my situation.  Prior to starting my shift I receive a phone call from the staffing agency stating no need to log in my contract has ended due to "under performance".  Much to my surprise, when I've had a 1x1 meeting and was not in the least bit advised that I was under performing.   The expectations were unrealistic.  I was constantly being told it takes time to learn the process don't beat yourself up on one hand and on the other hand pushing those metric scores.  My mentors did not see a problem with my performance and stated "you've got this"  so I'm flying high thinking I'm doing an okay job only to have my bubble burst.   There were red flags even in training which I let slide thinking it would blow over.  These employers/trainers allow personal feelings to get in the way of someone doing their job.   It doesn't matter how hard you work if you're not a favorite/liked you can hang it up.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Meeting the metrics.  How complicated can submitting an authorization be?  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone is still learning the process but yet a new hire is expected to know the process simply by following a chart.  Most of the information is contradictory can never get a straight answer.  If you challenge a score on your metrics you might get a response or get ignored.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
As a new hire hectic.  You're trying to learn the job in hopes to get hired by the company itself and the feed back you're being given is false.

A typical day work included arriving 15 minutes early to ensure computer was set up to log in on time. Started out with referencing work log in database to review daily the duties to work on.  Begin processing requests for filling orders electronically, submitting them to the proper location electronically.  I went on break 2 1/2 hours after start time, lunch 2 1/2 after that and 2 1/2 hours after that on last break.  

What I learned was how to batch and submit orders to the pharmacy department to fill prescription orders.  I learned that accuracy was extremely important to avoid having a prescription delayed, which could affect a customers health as well as the company.  

Management was professional and willing to assist to help employees perform their jobs to the best of their ability. 

My co-workers were helpful, friendly and happy to be apart of Humana.  

The hardest part of the job is when work slowed down as I like working in fast-paced environments and keeping busy.  

The most enjoyable part of the job was having a Supervisor that understand emergencies come about, a Supervisor that is confident that you can perform your job without ongoing monitoring.

Beware, Company is not as great as they try to act. Company doesn't offer Direct Deposit, they mail your checks and if theres a problem with the post office oh well they tell you. This company has messed up employees shift differential and not to mention their check. A number of employees that were placed at an assignment in Tampa (HPS), experienced problems with this agency. It was brought to the attention of The Client Health Plan Services. Two employees Quit and found better jobs, the reason they quit was told to us that they were done with the hassling with HealthCare Support Staffing about their money. As employees of Healthcare support staffing, we were told not to mention anything to the client. So I guess the problems that WE WERE EXPERIENCING WE WERE TO STAY QUITE ABOUT. We didn't we brought it to the attention of Human Resources and management at the client. We hope they end their contract with this agency. Another thing is the contact John in Tampa, that works between Healthcare Support Staffing and THE client HPS, is a joke. How the heck is he the middle person but & doesnt communicate with the client, I have no Clue. So look for a job thru another agency, or try your luck with these people but don't say you weren't warned.

I accepted what I was told would be a "permanent, direct hire" placement that turned out to be anything but permanent. Given that I left another (stable, although unsatisfying) job for that placement, the abrupt ending was especially insulting. It was supposedly a direct hire, so the recruiters may nor have had anything to do with that, but the recruiting agency does hold responsibility for making such a terrible placement.
The pushy, disruptive recruiter should have been a red flag...calling repeatedly and in rapid succession, even after I explained (several times) that I was WORKING and couldn't talk at work.
The recruiter was no help during the rocky hiring process - I should have backed out then...
This supposedly long-term placement ended very abruptly, with lame excuses and no real attempt on the hiring company's part to help mitigate the damage. Maybe they decided to end their relationship with Healthcare Support and dumping those placements was the fastest way? I got calls from recruiters afterward referencing my "contract" ending...so either they have no idea what's happening, or I was misled about the work I was accepting. Either way, it was a HUGE mistake that caused quite a bit of damage for me.

I make sure to be ready and out the door so I can get to work at least 30 minutes before ‘start time.’ That way if there are delays such as traffic I’m still on time for any meetings or important tasks. I check voice mail and the calendar, then plan my sit down work time around other things like meetings. Sometimes it’s hard to balance between being friendly and keeping on task, but people understand that I don’t like to chit chat during the day like to work

Work experience at any job can provide you with invaluable lessons, even if you're not working in your chosen field. Gaining an understanding of that experience helps you as you move forward in your career

As an athletic trainer there are many difficult situations that arise on the job.  Broken bones, over zealous parents, concussions, weather and a myriad of other things get to you.  However, there is nothing more troubling and depressing than what I just had to do

 The most enjoyable part of my job is I like what I do and I am always wiling to do other task even if it is not in my field ,

New management came in and totally changed everything about the general operation. New job posting restrictions that make no sense at all put in place will limit your success here. You are assigned a handful of jobs currently open to post. Outside of those you can only post old jobs that are closed and then you look like an idiot when you tell the candidate that every job they ask about is closed. Management uses scare tactics. You can have 2-3 great weeks and then one slow week and they will throw you under the buss in a group chat with others having a slow week as if you aren’t even trying and are nothing but a number to them. Metrics they use for margin are unattainable on certain teams yet they hold the same standards for everyone. Some teams have tier one status so of course it’s easier to get offers and placements when they look at your candidates first. Other teams don’t have that luxury and you have to deal with jobs always closing because competitors have filled them. When I first got here, I really enjoyed it. With new management now, I wouldn’t wish this amount of misery upon my worst enemy  

The company as whole is not terrible.  However, if you are hired through the staffing agency that they use, you will be led on to believe that they will hire you on after the typical probation period.  I was there for 8 months, then out of no where they decide to end my contract. I never became a direct employee with the office.  According to the recruiter I was assigned to, it was due to work performance.  I don't agree as I was in constant communication with the recruiter asking how I was doing and I was always told that they hadn't heard anything bad, so I shouldn't have anything to worry about.  I started as an appointment scheduler.  I was in that position for most of my time there.  Then just before Christmas, they moved me to the insurance verification department which I was led to believe was for cross-training purposes, not performance issues in appointments.  I was there for all of a month when they let me go.

The recruiter are very helpful getting the agency worker prepared for the interview with their client. 
However, the agency worker does not receive a call back after the contract has been terminated early. This kind of lack of communication and practice leaves the agency worker wondering what happens, questioning their work performance, and abilities. They at least can explain why the contract ended early, the not knowing, if you did something wrong, or was it your lack skills for the jobs. This is unnerving, and does not promote the desire to work for temporary agencies. After all who want continued short employment dates on their resume with no explanation.
However I still feel it's a good company, they just need better follow-up  communication after. 

During placement for a position through this company is the only time you will be reached by your recruiter. Once you are placed your recruiter disappears and does not return calls when you may require assistance. The company I was placed with was sub standard as well. The company had horrible management, no organization, very catty, used favoritism, un-ethical practices, unrealistic goals, toxic and juvenile work environment. The company had a very high turn over rate indicating there may be a problem with mid and upper management. Instead of taking a look at their team and it's operations, management continued to blame and dismiss their employees in a humiliating manner in the presence of several other co-workers. My advice is to be very cautious when considering working with this company and to do your research on the company they want to place you with as well.
