What is the best part of working at the company?
Finding out it is the worst place to be. A lot of rceism and sxism. A lot of smoke and mirrors. They hire upper management with no experience if you are the shade and sx they prefer with stank attitudes. Employees left in droves.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything is the worst. Patient care is nill. Corporate cannot be trusted and are users. They have ran through every Administrator in VA until there is none. The State needs to run them out of VA. It is another for profit freefall.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Extremely toxic. It doesn't matter which building. A lot of unruly staff, nobody does what they are really supposed to be doing because corporate messes around with your staff and Directors over the Administrators head throwing the staff into chaos. So, if you want to protect your license, don't bother here. Go to private sector. Skilled is no where near what it used to be.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Unbearable. Employees stealing time. People in corporate trying to use you as a coverup for something they did. They do not take responsibility for things that they do.

Working at Hill Valley taught me a lot and helped me grow professionally. Many hardworking employees truly care about the residents and give their all every day despite the challenges they face.

That said, one of the biggest struggles is the culture. At times, it can feel like people are more focused on protecting themselves or getting ahead than supporting one another. Instead of leaders developing their teams and helping people grow, there can be an environment in which employees feel they have to constantly watch their backs. This creates unnecessary stress and makes it difficult to build trust.

I believe the company would benefit greatly from investing more in leadership development and training. Strong leaders build people up, coach them, hold them accountable fairly, and create teams where people feel valued and supported. Too often, talented employees leave not because of the work itself, but because of leadership and workplace culture.

The work is meaningful, and there are some truly amazing people throughout the organization. With a stronger focus on collaboration, communication, and leadership development, Hill Valley could become a much better place to work and retain great employees.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Absolutely nothing. This is the worst company to work for. I really feel bad for the residents. Actually fearful for the residents. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Watching the mistreatment and neglect of the residents and not being able to help them.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very stressful. Everything they promised at the initial meeting was a total lie. Woman who had over 40 yrs of seniority lost it all. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Watching the CNAs fight with the new traveling CNAs seeing residents with black eyes. The new traveling CNAs treat the residents poorly.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The residents  are always  most of the staff care the  rest come for the pay benefits  are not as great  since central health  left them

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management  worries  more about  what  looks good  on paper   I understand  medicaid  and  Medicare requires  certain  things  what  about your  residents  we are  here for them

Older  staff  run  away new staff   talking  rude and demeaning   others

Pass medications  do charting and  take  care of  residents  as much as possible  adls

The hourly wage is above average for the area.

The physical plants are in disrepair. Most nursing staff works  for an agency in each facility and suffers from great turnover.

The work environment is warm and accepting in all but one of the facilities in which I have worked.

Busy with evaluations and the like.

My coworkers make it worth being here

Everything, they usually add to your workload and then refuse to pay you what is needed to survive.

Close tight nit family we get along well

Non stop running. There is never enough time in the day to complete all of the duties that they expect to be done.

If you want to work for a company that  cares only about profit and Financials this is the place for you. They talk a great game but at the end of the day the employees that work for them are just a pawn in a game to make more money. Pay is severely lacking. Staffing ratios are terrible. Stop putting corporate employees in $300 a night hotels no where near the buildings they are going to visit and throwing lavish dinners for those staff and put your money into paying employees living wages and keep up with skyrocketing cost of living.

My cllinical co workers.  The residents and families

Lack of communication from Nursinh Admin to Clinical Floor staff

Work in progress new Admin is trying to fix the problems but they care about the bottom dollar we as nursing care about the bottom in the bed

It varies from cool calm collected to absolute bedlam and chaos

There is no good parts. Unde staffed and over worked

Staff to patient ratio at times you can have 30 plus residents to 1 nurse and cna

Very stressful  and exhausting

Allot of days I had to sit in my car for 30 minutes just to be able to walk in my house

Local people most are leaving. Patients
