Throughout my professional journey, I have accumulated valuable job experiences that have shaped me into a versatile and skilled individual. With a strong foundation in my field, I have had the opportunity to work in various roles that have honed my expertise.

From my initial foray into the workforce, I embraced entry-level positions that provided me with a hands-on understanding of the industry. These early experiences laid the groundwork for my growth, teaching me the importance of adaptability and teamwork.

As I progressed, I took on more challenging roles, which allowed me to showcase my leadership abilities. Managing teams, I learned the significance of effective communication and motivating colleagues towards a common goal.

Additionally, I have worked in diverse organizational cultures, which enriched my understanding of global perspectives and enhanced my cross-cultural competencies.

My job experiences have instilled in me a strong work ethic, resilience, and problem-solving skills. They have shaped me into a proactive and results-driven professional, always seeking opportunities to innovate and contribute positively to any team or organization I am a part of.

Manager client expectations by assisting health care benefits and all other ancillary benefits.  Assisted in sales and implementation of new clients and assisted in retention of clients presenting renewal, negotiating with carriers and conducting employee meetings.  Provided quality customer service through both written and verbal communication.  Strong organization skills, problem solving and multitasking at all times. Marketing health insurance plans and all ancillary benefits. 

Over the past couple of years I've learned a lot about Health Care Reform in order to assist and advise clients on the regulations and implementation of the laws. 

The hardest part of the job was:
staying informed on the ever changing Health Care Reform laws
Implementation dates of each law and assuring the clients were in compliance.  
Each day included a variety of challenges, tasks and learning opportunities to improve my performance and knowledge.

Office is a sea of cubicles.  Employees and clients are treated as numbers.  The company is only interested in profit margins, not customer service.  Their goal is to sign as many new clients as possible, and then do the least amount of work for them as possible.  

Company culture revolves around heavy drinking.  There is a bar in the office and weekly happy hours.  Lots of time is spent taking clients to lunch and happy hour.  Very little time is spent doing actual work.  Lots of travel is required to go to meetings where you just read from a cookie cutter presentation.  

Lots of immature coworkers.  The enviroment feels like high school.

If you like construction, from Iowa, it's for you. If you like benefits, you should consider the Dallas office. They removed work flex, hybrid options all together in 2023. Despite in 2022, pre-hire saying it would not go away. Huge mistake for the larger cities, they just couldn't get that. It's a very a political environment between home office and other offices. You will be in the middle of it all and have no idea the strings being pulled behind the scenes for your future.    

Management at the time was weak. The department was actually ran by the work associates that I would compare to oil rig workers with playground bullies thrown in the mix. Lots of fun activities IF your position allows. Some positions are critical and therefore their tasks can’t be put aside to take part in all celebrations.
If you’re a younger associate you’ll find the company atmosphere “fun”.
I do not believe that the other departments were like the one I worked in. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
There are excellent benefits beyond health and dental insurance. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Training is non existent and management can change quickly. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There are fun events periodically and a lot of perks. They strive to be a culture of “love what do and who you do it with” that is almost cult like. 


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Collaboration with team members and other departments.

Worked very hard at my job and received excellent reviews and reasonable raises.  All of a sudden I was then asked to change from a waged employee to an Independent Contractor with no ligitament reason being provided.  I would have been hung out to dry with no insurance to protect myself or my family if a problem on one of the large losses occured.

This is a good company if you are an intern out of college.  Beware to those who don't go through the intern process because you will receive very little training and support from upper mgmt or team leads. There is rampant favoritism and if you're not on the right team you won't succeed here.

Captive and P&C insurance company. Daily customer support with regard to determing what the customer needs are centered around. Management is put into position without actually being qualified to handle the tasks assigned to them. The company does promote from within good or bad. Co-Workers have no fear of repercussions and no respect for upper management. Hardest part is determining if you are the target for the week.

The individual offices have leaders voicing concerns on client managers and support staff that work in the other offices on shared accounts. Too many egos and hands in the fire make simple processes over-complicated. Clients are small, naive, and unsophisticated leading to easy confusion and unmet expectations when producers butt into renewals to show their value.
