I've had the privilege of working as a Telehealth nurse case manager for Home MD Housecalls for the past two years, and it's genuinely been a transformative experience. The support and training provided by the company have been second to none. Our telehealth platform not only ensures a seamless connection with patients but also integrates efficiently with electronic health records, making documentation a breeze.

The leadership team constantly prioritizes both employee and patient satisfaction, creating a nurturing environment where I feel both challenged and supported. It's heartwarming to know that our services bridge the gap for so many patients, especially during these unprecedented times, providing them with quality care right in the comfort of their homes.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. The interdisciplinary team meetings ensure that all caregivers are on the same page and that our patients receive comprehensive, holistic care. The commitment to continuous improvement and feedback-driven changes is truly commendable.

I'm not just proud to be an employee here – I'm also grateful for the positive impact we make in patients' lives every day. Here's to many more years of making a difference!

The medical field requires people to de adaptable and subject to change. Upper management is trying to match the need for our patients. I love that they are home bound and are actively coming up with new workflows and methods to provide care across the board. No place is perfect, and there are bumps in the road. However, if there wasn't corrections, meetings to fix these bumps, and adjustments then i would be concerned. HomeMD is going somewhere and whether or not I go with them, I will ALWAYS be thankful for my time and experience I was able to have here within this company. Management wants to hear your feedback. They are trying to provide more opportunities for us employees. They are constantly  getting compared to big corporate jobs and sometimes people are upset when we can't offer things that others may. This is a nurse practitioner owned company that wants to create an organized family/work balance company. They need strong workers who are going to actually work, and help contribute to the workflow rather than pushing off work to other employees. When you work as a team, you get the job done. I hope HomeMD continues to flourish and grow. 

Fast growing company that truly cares about their patients' and employees' satisfaction. The hours are flexible. The work environment is very positive and everybody is so helpful. It's nice not to work for a company that doesn't micromanage everything. I have the ability to see as many or as little patients a day. If I need a day off, I can take the day off.  I feel like my voice matters and I am not just a number, the owners actually know who I am. They are very much involved and actively seeking to continue to grow and improve the company, always looking for ways to be more productive while being the most proficient. They truly want their employees to be happy and supported. They have the understanding that having happy employees will directly correlate to high quality patient care. 

A typical day at work was to answer over 200 calls and be expected to respond each call immediately even if you have 5 others on hold. I learned that I am a valuable asset to a company and this company takes advantage of you, your time and even your breaks. They still expect you to be available during your breaks. The management is constantly changing and they change the time off, break all general rules with each new management but do not tell the employees. The hardest part of the job is that nobody works together. Everyone has so much to do that they make it impossible for each person to complete their tasks if it involved another part of the team. I had no enjoyment in this job and it caused me to have high stress and anxiety. I would NEVER recommend this company to anybody. 

I love being an NP over here where I enjoy autonomy and an AMAZING work culture!  HomeMD is growing at a crazy fast pace (because we do such great work I'm sure!!), which means it is evolving rapidly.  Given the growth, things change very quickly here, which is awesome if you are an adaptable person.  For instance, they just gave live scribes to all of the providers over here (YIPPEE!!) and it is so amazing, but putting that in place involved process changes that took a few months to implement and there were bumps along the way . . . small price to pay for someone to do your charting for you :)

Also, I wouldn't want to leave the fact that HomeMD Housecall Services is NURSE OWNED!!!!  

I worked as admin team member at HomeMD and my experience was far from positive. The expectations placed on me were overwhelming, as I was often required to work  after hours without any consideration for my personal time or boundaries. This lack of respect for work-life balance created a highly stressful atmosphere.

Additionally, the environment was toxic, which made it difficult to feel motivated or supported in my role. I was thrown into the job without proper training, leaving me feeling unprepared and lost. The lack of guidance only added to the chaos, and it was discouraging to navigate such a challenging position without the necessary resources.

Overall, my time at MD At Home was disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a healthy work environment or a supportive role.

I have been with HomeMD since early 2022. With any growing company, there are bumps along the way but HomeMD handles the bumps with grace, professionalism and understanding. I will say that the HomeMD 3 months ago is not the same HomeMD it is now, and the HomeMD in 3 months will be even better than it is now. Management has the skill to see opportunities and make things happen for the better of the patients and staff. Management is very open to new ideas and changes as staff come across them. Even for being remote work, HomeMD has a fantastic ability to make each employee feel seen, heard and that they are not alone. 

I am a Registered Nurse with over 25 years of experience and over my career I have had the opportunity to work for many companies including hospitals, health departments, home health companies, and health insurance companies. HomeMD has been one of the best jobs I have ever had. I appreciate beyond words the priority that management places on work life balance, professional autonomy, and schedule flexibility. It is a workplace culture that feels like you are working with friends and family who all help each other to be the best we can be for our patients.

HomeMD has found a loophole in the health care system that is failing. Their mission/vision is largely to bring health care access to the elderly, keeping them in their homes and out of the hospitals. Their support and resources are truly all encompassing. The owners and their entire care team from A-Z are motivating and supportive of one another. Scheduling and work life balance is amazing. I feel more productive working out of my home than I ever did working in a facility. The ability to work around my children's schedules and patient's schedules allows for so much flexibility that you don't get working a typical 7-4 or 8-5 position.  

I had high hopes for this job and thought the mission to help patients in their home was an amazing idea. Everything was disorganized from day 1. There was no clearly defined training. No one was on the same page ever. Management talks behind their workers backs and creates a dramatic environment for all. They fire people for asking questions they don't think are appropriate. The job was very flexible in the beginning but that slowly went away. There is such a high turnover and many people have either quit or were let go.  I don't recommend working here simply because it's unstable. The benefits are not good and expensive. Also no raise for the years I served there. Beware.
