There’s a lot that I could say about my time at HomeCare, but I’ll keep this short.
Here’s what you need to know:

Management is fantastic. They’re always available to answer questions or address concerns you’re having either with an assignment, or just in general. They do an amazing job and it makes focusing on your work that much easier.
There isn’t as much camaraderie as you would find at a company with a more traditional set-up (for obvious reasons). This is something that’s either going to be an issue or not depending on the type of person you are and what you’re looking to get out of your job.
Your local office staff are your main point of reference. They’re the ones you’ll be spending most of your time communicating with.
The families you work with – for the most part – are great. It’s a lot of overworked kids and grandkids who just don’t have the time to do everything they can themselves for their parents/grandparents. It isn’t easy work, and I feel like a lot of them learned that the hard way before reaching out to HomeCare for help.
Scheduling can be an issue at times. My advice: be proactive and go above and beyond to make sure your schedule is very clear, both to HomeCare and the families you work with. Discussions over work hours were the most contentious part of the job. It all comes down to being very very clear about your availability.

The work is consistent and the HomeCare staff are great at making sure you’re matched up with the right families. You still have to apply for jobs you want, but they won’t give the go ahead if they think there will be any issues on either side. I think that’s why every assignment I’ve gotten so far has been wonderful. Working for HomeCare as a Home Health Assistant is the best caregiver work I’ve experienced and I’ve been doing this for over 10 years at this point.

Making the switch was honestly the hardest part. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be everything they promised, and I’m not part of the millennial generation so I’m not as comfortable with technology. But the way they set things up it’s really easy to get started, and I wasn’t pressured into quitting my previous job whatsoever. Once I realized that I could make as much (and sometimes more) through HomeCare, I quit  my other job. But I was really thankful that it wasn’t an issue until I got to a level of comfortability. Personally, I think that’s one of the biggest selling points of working for HomeCare: you’re the one who’s ultimately in control.

Surrounded by wonderful people who are passionate about home care.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
We have great caregivers supporting our families so there isn't too much that's stressful.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
We're a technology first company with the ability to have a remote staff which allows us to accomplish quite a bit.  Being remote does make it difficult to go out to lunch with our peers but has allowed us to focus on other aspects of our culture of appreciation.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
There's never a dull moment as there's we're always working on something.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The pay is great excellent plenty of work good rewards


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not enough work in my area code. So when I do get that job I stay on that job for years.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is called home care.com. because everything I mean everything is done over the phone I have never been in the office don't even know where the office is located everything is done over the phone technology baby.

Skills are done on the phone ADLs on the phone personal care food prep companionship everything is reported over the phone

What is the best part of working at the company?
Working 1 on 1 with quality clients , friendly agency  & staff as well as very supportive, easy to communicate with but also listens. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When the app malfunctions or if it's I'm trying to get a hold of someone right away

It's great,  it you 1 on 1 with clients and able to provide quality care

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very smooth, the company matches you with clients that connects with you.

This company is small and still growing but my experiences so far has been good.  I'm a independent Contractor for Homecare.com and they have found me work within a month after filling out my online profile on their website.  The pay is good because you're pretty much work for yourself. I set my own hours and days I want to work and I'm responsible for paying my own taxes. The managements checked up on me to see if everything is ok and I'm doing good with my new client.  So far no complaints and looking foward to grow with this company.

Pleasant customer service, perfessional,  l miss working for them .

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I don't  have any complaints  at all.

With the cases l got they always answered  my question about the cases.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Great company  will recommend  them for someone  who is planning  on moving  south.

This company has many posting for job opportunities, however they are very limited on jobs in close location to my home. Not a lot of inner city jobs. The pay rate is also unfair for the strenuous workload. They give you an assignment but are totally unaware of how these facilities treat agency staff. It's like walking into failure. Not worth the time, money or health problems

Days start at different times for each client.Also the hours you are asked to work are different each day. We always helped each other out if one of us needed off. All co workers worked together.The job is not hard at all and everybody worked together.I would work there again if I could get a call back. Highly recommend them.

Setting own hours. Ability to choose who i see or not.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They dont take taxes from pay.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Its nice because you only deal with the clients and/or family members. No boss .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Up at 7 at work by 8 home by 5.
