What is the best part of working at the company?
The people you work with are wonderful! There is such a great team focus in everything we do. I have never felt more valued as an employee.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There really isn't a lot of stress within the work environment. The only thing that can be challenging is the delays encountered through interactions with outside entities like insurance companies and physician's offices.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Teamwork is emphasized and everyone is valued and appreciated.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Answering phones, scheduling patients, interacting with physician offices. Working administrative tasks, being friendly and hospitable to everyone who walks in my door or calls me on the phone. I love my job.

There was no barcode scanning of the patient or medication to make sure the right medication was given to the right patient. If I had an urgent question about a medication, it was hard to get a hold of the main nurse because he worked in Kansas City and was also busy, so it made me nervous working there as a nurse.  The money they offered for me to pay for my own benefits was not enough to pay for benefits. I was being very underpaid compared to the cost of living in the area. The company overall was VERY disorganized and an unsafe place for patients to receive infusions.

This company does amazing things for their patients but is growing too quickly. They are constantly changing policies and procedures without care for the those who actually use them day in and day out. If your title doesn’t have VP in it then your ideas are work squat… their communication is horrible and the HR department is so small for a US wide company you can never get ahold of your HR Business partner to help you with anything let alone get a polite and kind answer. Bottom line … amazing for the patients as they receive treatment they need desperately but leadership needs to understand how to listen to those who are actually performing the work everyday, take some ideas from them and communicate more transparently - it would certainly help with the high turn over. 

During my tenure at Infusion Express I witnessed illegal billing practices and billing under Drs in a totally different state at the time of infusion. The company is pure chaos and you are not appreciated for any of the work you put in daily. There is zero communication and it is completely disorganized. I felt like I was working in another realm or something. They look over you and hire outside for promotions and advancements which really stinks especially when you are bending over backwards and working around the clock to fix issues and answer all their questions. I hope they get it together or they are going to face some big time challenges.

Not a good place for nurses or NPs.
You are expected to drive to multiple clinics that are well over an hour apart with tolls. Nursing leadership is in the East coast time zone so they make you feel like you inconveniencing them when you call with questions. If you do speak with someone, they end up telling you to contact the local operations director instead. The local director has no nursing experience so they just make decisions based on money and not patient safety or best care. It may be a good place for people other than nurses to work. 

Changed departments three times in two years due to departments being sent off-shore. Initial training was great, however with each department shift the training got less and less informative. Start-Up company and it definitely shows. Expected to change your entire job title and responsibilities at the drop of a hat and be told “either move or quit”. Pay is good, work-life balance is good (M-F). Training is subpar for the metrics and standards you are held to. If you come in with extensive knowledge you should do fine, but be careful at any moment they could decide to switch it up on you and it could become sink or swim situation. 

New management affected the entire dynamic. Valeshia doesnt care about your wellbeing. The harder you work, the more work your assigned. The training is pathetic. They don't give you the tools or education needed to effectively do your job, but get upset if your not meeting their standards. 

There are best friends in different levels of management, so when there's an issue, it's never resolved. Multiple issues were addressed by multiple staff members and no change ! 

Too many people are afraid to speak up in fear of being unemployed. 

I could sing praises for this company.  They are constantly trying to improve and get feedback from employees to know where things need to be better.  They genuinely care about each employee and patient.  People are appreciated and rewarded for their hard work and moments where they embody one of the company values (Be Kind, Do What's Right, etc.)  If you are searching for a company that will do its best to do right by you, continuously improve the processes to grow properly across the nation, and genuinely recognize the people who contribute to its success, then this is the company for you. 

It is a revolving door. Front Desk Staff, Registered Nurses, and Nurse Practitioners, are underpaid and overworked. The non clinical leadership makes decisions that create an environment where RNs and NPs are unable to provide safe patient care, and we do not get support from the clinical leadership. Management is so focused on expanding the company they don't care about employee satisfaction or retention at all. 

Unsafe business practices. Management is concerned about maximizing profit at the expense of employees' mental health. Managers have no clinical background. 

Infusion Express has been a great place to work, and I believe we are truly making a difference in the lives of our patients. The team is friendly and welcoming, and everyone I work with has a true "can do" attitude. The clinical team values patient safety and patient experience above all else, and I feel supported by the others around me. The company continues to add additional benefits and perks and is competitive to other similar provider organizations. Ultimately, two thumbs up!
