Horrible management, with no real support from them and no opportunity for growth ( they act like children) and mostly every dept management is the same, horrible. They WILL exploit you. Exaggerated amount of work and extremely  low pay. If you do receive a raise, then expect bad attitudes toward you and your work load WILL tripple! They have lost many great, LOYAL, honest people to these horrible practices. The clinic makes great money and they receive many grants and donations so they should pay well, offer better benefits for the employees but most importantly they should have excellent patient care, which they don't.

Don't waste your time seeking employment here, totally not worth it. Just be patient you will find something better!

They want you to work you without any tools / guidance everything’s organized the managers have no respect they make smart remarks  it’s like walking into misery everyday they don’t care if you take your breaks or not mentally draining no proper training from the start it’s always something bad nothing ever good  no one’s ever heard no changes ever made if anything it gets worse

No clear workflows, constantly changing policies and protocols. Never get recognition for your work, instead you get a list of things that aren't perfect and more things added to your workload. No clear communication between departments and sites, feels like everyone does their own thing. Good to get your foot in the healthcare door, but definitely have other options lined up once you gather your experience. 



My direct supervisor was great, very supportive and easy to work with. Unfortunately, upper management was pretty disorganized. The directors often didn’t follow professional conduct standards, which made the work environment frustrating at times.

The pay is also pretty low for the amount of work expected. That said, it can be a decent place to gain experience and learn some skills, especially if you're just starting out.

The culture is good but can be challenging due to some barriers manifested by providers or lack of leadership at the clinical level. Collaboration with peers internally is great but once you cross to other departments it’s tricky. The essence to provide quality care is presented this organization has been around since the 70s so something is right. 

Don’t know how things are now but a couple years back it was a low paying wage, despite having a degree. Lack of communication between departments that hinder how to best help the patients. However the leadership I was under at the time was amazing, very helpful and tried to advocate for the things that were needed for me to fulfill my role. 

Do as say not as I do!  Micromanaging where you feel their breath on your neck! No clear communication by leadership, or stove pipped to need to know personal. Don’t think about taking initiative if it does not align with managers or makes them look incompetent.

Little red tape, autonomy to treat multitude of conditions, can do full- scope family medicine.  Helpful colleagues. Wonderful patients. Mission driven, meaningful work in a small FQHC.

Horrible place to work at. No communication within departments & managers. Managers will make descisions for you and not ask if it’s okay with you. Extremely low pay and no recognition. Always bring up negative traits about employees not a good job to stay at. 

a really awesome professional experience. Everyone truly cares about patient care and works together as a team to assure the best care for a highly vulnerable population
