I have been with this company going on 5 years and each year I find comfort in knowing being the very best I can be is an attainable challenge, as I have a support group of MANY who are always there willing to help, encourage and enable me to get the job done.

Being in the Hospitality Industry for many, many years I can compare Income Property Investments to many of the large corporations as far as training, teaching, supporting and backing our properties.  There is never a time too busy for them to reach out and lend a hand, suggestion or opportunity to encourage us in any and all areas.

The Corporate Staff of many are always eager to help us as a group or individually on any project or issue that arises and that in itself is amazing.  We are a close knit family that is growing leaps and bounds!

I am proud to be a part of this growing company and love what each day brings to the table.  We as a team embrace the unknown with zeal and push ourselves to "Make Great Happen" on a daily basis.  I am excited to see where we will be at years end as we all work very hard and face daily challenges.  I can say as each year that passes it gets better and better and the rewards are great!

At Motel 6 you will be expected to do at times an absurd amount of rooms per day and constantly getting pushed to meeting time goals while also expecting you to go above and beyond the typical cleaning process with below even the minimal amount of supplies to do so. The stock is constantly running out (Running out of Soap, Cups, Toilet Paper ect) and then Housekeeping is expected to scrape whatever possible together to complete rooms. Laundry is constantly overworked and under-supplied to the point of front desk needing to help fold on most days.

GSR / Head Housekeepers on a daily basis have to fill in multiple jobs (GSR, Laundry, Maintenance) because of being understaffed and overworked.

This job has a very strong "family" environment sense to where it is beyond dysfunctional and toxic. Management shows little care for the mental or physical health of the workers. You will be constantly micromanaged.

Overall I would not recommend working here. It is by far the most toxic work environment I have ever worked in. If you are desperate or in need of a short term job it'd probably be good otherwise avoid it at all costs.

IPI is a great company to work for.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
To be honest there were some stressful days, but there was always someone with in the company you could go to for advice.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mostly positive, they were always looking forward to the future by trying new tactics and strategies to better the brand and company.

I have worked with the Income Property Investment (IPI) team since early 2014. The Management Team has always had an open line of communication where in they have given me the opportunity to think out of the box and try new ideas. IPI is growing and the job can be demanding at times, but management has always been supportive as we strive each day to meet our goals and to create memorial experiences for our guests.

I've learned to think on my feet because each new day brings a  different scenario. My management support team is always available when needed to guide with our performance. We're given the opportunity to train as a team to show our full potential. The most difficult part of my day is saying goodnight. I truly enjoy knowing we've made a difference in someones experience.

I have worked for Income Property Investments for over 2 years  I have found the company to be highly supportive and encouraging. They are a growing company that offers advancement within. I can reach out to anyone at the corporate office at anytime and they are always glad to help and guide me in any direction I may need. I have children and it is great working for a company that has family values and understands life “happens”.

If your looking for a great company to work for that believes in family type style instead of your a employee and feel like all they care is about is money. They make sure to make you feel welcome from the interview process to the being hired in.  The company is growing and does not seem to stop growing which is great if your looking for something long term and want to grow. They truly are becoming the employer of choice.

Having been with this company y for over two years, has given a lot of self satisfaction . Truest the work culture in this company is very soul satisfying . Everyone is given equal opportunity to rise in the company . They don’t micro manage each employee and encourage the General Manager to take independent decisions..
