What is the best part of working at the company?
The ratio of patients to staff was a plus compared with other facilities.  The environment was clean.  When I started in 2014, management was top tier, it has dropped over the years, but still a good place to work. 


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not much stress, but new management doesn’t solve issues fairly 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very diverse, and friendly staff. But like most places, favoritism is always going to be involved.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Do your work to best of your ability and you wouldn’t encounter any difficulties/challenges.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There is a decent amount of flexibility here for nurse.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No one really has management skills that translates to good leadership as a whole. Pay is not good.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is hit or miss. If you're liked you're in, if not, culture becomes toxic.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
From start to finish of the day there is little to no organization.

Staff turnover leaves employees with no job security or honest respect for those who actually do the hard work and make a difference in resident lives.  Most leave due to lack of communication under jewish home life. Definitely not prepared for covid and still questionable. 

Friendly atmosphere, positive organizational culture, the current CEO is a great leader, effort is put forth on employee retention, scholarships are offered to further one's education

I love that every day here brings a new experience. Also, the management here shows appreciation for their employees. What I love most is that I’m able to give back by assisting senior citizens with every day living tasks. Overall, Jewish HomeLife workplace culture is the best I’ve ever seen.              

This establishment will work for you if you allow it to. If you have no problem with actually putting in the work and effort needed, you will see the benefits. I have been with the organization over a year and I can honestly say I have been provided opportunities for learning and growth. 

They are usually pretty good about keeping the floor staff with agency. But there are a lot of turn overs with their own staff due to management. A lot of employees work hard but it never gets noticed. Management approaches very rude and can be discrediting to staff. But overall, the residents are all great and work load is manageable.

I have been in the senior living industry for the last 15 years Jewish HomeLife has been one of the most supportive companies I have worked for. Being in a Sales/Marketing already comes with built in pressure but my peers, Executive Director, and Corporate Mangagement team make sure that I know I am supported in anyway they can. 


I love working at Jewish HomeLife. There is a true sense of team in the organization, no matter what department you work in. You can tell the company cares about every person. There are many "extras" to help you including leadership development, scholarships to go back to school and emergency funds. I cannot say enough.

Amazing benefits, and a leadership team that TRULY cares about its staff. They are always creating actionable goals for the team, and encouraging internal career advancement.  I look forward to coming to work everyday.
