Poor and inconsistent leadership! Decisions are often made and changed last-minute without proper communication to the teams, leading to constant deadline shifts and wasted efforts. This inconsistency creates unnecessary stress, a high-stakes, blame focused culture where employees feel unable to speak up or ask for help. Kindbody has allowed a deeply toxic culture that is characterized by pervasive distrust and anxiety. We are silenced to have a constructive and professional dialogue, which leads to the teams walking on eggshells or not speaking up. 

The high stress and being silenced has fostered low morale and contributed directly to the high employee turnover rate, leaving remaing staff stretched thin and demoralized.

Kindbody also suffers from a debilitating lack of clarity regarding job titles and departmental responsibilities. There is no clear and concise understanding of individuals roles, which creates massive operational friction. Tasks are routinely dumped that should be directed to the department it belongs to. This results in duplication of work, tasks falling through the cracks, team members being pulled in many different unnecessary directions and wasted resources.  This chaotic structure ensures that nobody can focus on their core responsibilities. 

Training for any role with Kindbody is highly unstructured and unorganized.  Instead of a standardized, step by step curriculum, it is a process that is heavily shadowing multiple employees with no consistent method.  The lack of defined training leds to inconsistent patient care, as different employees operates with varying levels of information and processes adherence.  

Compensation is not competitive.  It is great if you are a Physician, Embyrologist, Nurse or in leadership, but all others are suffering.  Salaries and annual adjustments, when given, are minimal and do not meet the significant increase in the cost of living. 



I worked at Kindbody for nearly almost 3 years and had a lot of positive experiences during my time there. The work-life balance was generally good, my coworkers felt like family, and the physicians were approachable and easy to work with. The patients were also a rewarding part of the job, which made the work meaningful.

Unfortunately, there were some significant concerns regarding management and employee treatment. While I maintained a positive performance record, received no write-ups, and had no history of disciplinary issues, my employment was terminated without what I felt was a fair or progressive corrective process. This came as a surprise given my dedication to the clinic and the quality of work I consistently provided.

One of the biggest frustrations was the lack of accountability when concerns were brought to management or HR. Issues that employees raised often seemed to go unresolved, which created a feeling that feedback was not taken seriously. Advancement opportunities were also very limited, and compensation growth was disappointing. After nearly two years, my raise was minimal, and I found myself training new employees who were being hired at a higher rate of pay.

Overall, Kindbody has some wonderful staff members and offers a reasonable work-life balance, but prospective employees should be aware of concerns regarding management responsiveness, career growth opportunities, pay progression, and consistency in how workplace issues are addressed.

As an experienced board certified Nurse Practitioner, Kindbody has been a tough. I was a practicing provider: independently managing, diagnosing, and treating high-risk patients. In my role as Kindbody I am a glorified assistant to whichever physician it’s needed. You are NOT a provider, you are a personal assistant. There is no autonomy, there is no respect for your role. You will not have patients, you will not manage patients, you will not make diagnosis or treatment plans, you will assist. I am doing things for physicians, that my medical assistants were doing for me in previous roles. Registered Nurses pull rank and pay over Advanced Practice Providers. You are constantly micromanaged from the top heavy c-suite and it takes the focus off of what’s really important: the patients. 

In-office staff is wonderful, and the clinics could function well without the c-suite keeping such a heavy microscope.

My first thought is maybe this is a good opportunity for a new grad, but not even, there would be no way for them to spread their wings and gain the autonomy to practice confidently. 

Pay is below market average. There are no bonuses or raises. 

There is a good work/life balance compared to other Nurse Practitioner roles.

In my time at Kindbody, the company went through many changes. The company that I signed on to work for was wonderful. It quickly changed and morphed into a terrible work environment, constantly changing policies and workflows with poor communication of said changes. As my specific location got busier and we had to regularly skip lunches and breaks, we were told that we didn't need additional employees to help with the workload. The company's mission to provide women's health/fertility care to all and make it more affordable went out the window. Instead, the company became hyper-fixated on making money, so much so that most employees were overworked and burnt out. At a certain point, the company laid off several employees, calling it "right-sizing" and then later apologized for laying off too many people, but didn't replace them. 

Run, don't walk, away from Kindbody. I do NOT recommend working here.

I loved working with my coworkers, more than others. But leadership and management was one of the worst experiences ever. I had reached out SEVERAL times about my concerns and it was always brushed to the side. FAVORITISM is huge here so beware! They will always side with certain employees more than others, no consideration of other’s feelings. Shouldn't it be equal all around?

Extremely short staffed, over worked, stressed, under paid, but, FEAR NOT, we received new couches, benches, and furniture for the lobby! Also, opening up new clinics in the area! yet current clinics are literally crying out for help for being extremely short staffed. 

We had the CEO come in to the clinic to ask why staff are quitting and her comment was "I don't know why you guys aren't making me money but I see that you are all extremely busy." 

I do not know where to start on my list of cons but I will move on with positivity. I wish all my coworkers the best. 

My advice: RUN, don't walk! 

My experience at Kindbody has been very disappointing so far to the point that it has pushed me to resign after only a few weeks. The company seems to lack clear direction and consistent communication from leadership. Training felt unstructured and disorganized, with little guidance or support for new employees.

There appears to be a lack of experienced leadership and standardized processes, which makes it difficult to feel confident in the role or understand expectations. The work environment can feel chaotic, and it’s hard to get aligned with different teams since everyone seems to be operating on different pages.

There have also been several sudden staffing changes, which created uncertainty about job stability. Overall, the company would benefit from stronger leadership, clearer training materials, and more transparent communication with staff. Based on my experience, I would advise potential candidates to carefully review recent feedback before joining.

The most toxic place I’ve ever worked at and here are reasons why: nurses are in charge of EVERYTHING (no exaggeration), no teamwork, very cliquey, management does not care, empty promises with their HR responses, no work-life balance whatsoever. Only pro is the pay if you don’t mind not having a social life. Expectations are unrealistic and absolutely no help from management but are quick to add on more responsibilities for the nurses. 

They also say 4 days 10 hour work days (with one day working from home) but that’s only if there’s enough nursing coverage at the clinic which 9/10 there isn’t. It felt like I was working 12 hour days, 5 days/week. 

I would literally come home from work and cry because I did not want to come in the next day.
Do yourself and your mental health a favor and don’t do it. The pay is very tempting but not worth deteriorating my mental health for. It got so bad I was taking it out on my loved ones.

This company is very dysfunctional. The communication is some of the worst I have experienced in my working career. The expectations of upper management are completely unrealistic. They leave you to fend for yourself and get eaten alive by patients, nurses, and doctors. You’re expected to work more than 8 hours a day, while being a salaried employee, and get no extra pay, raises, or bonuses.  They’re all about themselves and money. That’s literally ALL they see. They don’t care that they lose employees left and right. They don’t care about your personal needs or mental health. They portray this happy, fun, exciting company to work for, yet behind closed doors, it’s a nightmare. 

Literally the only good thing about this place is working from home. Other than that, I would steer clear of this place by any means necessary. 

Oh, where to start... KB likes to say that they are a "Rocket Ship," but is that a good thing? They are supposed to be a medical clinic! From the start, we were understaffed and it just got worse. The focus was always on marketing and aesthetics, so it looked gorgeous, but the clinical staff was drowning and that is not a good thing! Fertility care is obviously a stressful thing for the clients, but the nurses and medical assistants need to be on top of their game, but we were always working on a skeleton crew and being pushed to add on cases and to work harder and faster. If safety concerns were brought up, they were brushed aside. Eventually, people started quitting. It was too hard and too much. Again, the clients were lovely, the patients were lovely, but it felt like the management was looking at the money, not the people. No, thanks!

Lack of management. Lack of staff. Left work everyday so stressed. Worked on my own for months with no support. Was brought in as a middle man for two people that couldn’t get along. Had zero training. Kept asking over and over and kept being lied to. When ever I would bring up how I felt I would be shot back with I am causing this stress to myself. There is no way to grow with this company. No incentives. No reason to want to keep wanting to get better. Nothing but the negatives were brought up. Never felt valued. Watched everyone leave. Treated a good Dr awful and let her go because they didn’t want to train her… the pay is great but your mental health goes down quickly. Now the two ultrasound girls there were the best co workers ever and they were the reason I stayed for so long. Disappointing. I loved my patients so very much! I will miss them!
