Every other day they were changing something, whether it be adding to the ever growing number of dispositions you needed to complete in your 45 seconds between calls or changing the scoring rubric they use so that you're more likely to score lower on your QA. Upper management is  completely out of touch with reality and should spend some time on the phones so they're not just arbitrarily making changes that needlessly increase the difficulty of the job. Pay was lousy too. Unfortunately, I  didn't know anyone who is happy there. The other day they were doing mass layoffs, no heads up, only to be engaged in mass hiring again. I loved Lighthouse for what they did for my family member when they lost their sight so I'm very disappointed in how things turned out. It was not a good experience. Perhaps some people at the top need to go as well....

Fast paced. Learning about customer care. Management is ok. Did not get to experience the work place culture, it was fully remote and inaccessible to me. The hardest part of the job was being restricted on the type of help I could provide my customers, certain things I have no access to do for the customer, and multiple technical issues led to my downfall. Most enjoyable part of my job was actually being able to solve and help my customers looking up their status of their benefits status of their applications provide them with updates of their current benefits, basically the most enjoyable part was actually being able to help my customer without restrictions that ran into the way. 

When you answer calls, more than likely these people have been on hold for hours, so they are already irate. While you are trying to assist the customer, you realize that you can't help them at your level and you have to transfer them, which means they go back on hold. We couldn't even correct the customer's address or phone number. The final straw for me  I was told that if a customer/client was threatening harm to themselves or others, I had to stay on the line with them until our supervisor could call support for a wellness check. I was paid minimum wage and I don't have any training in negotiating. That responsibility is above my pay grade. 

I was coming from an agency and to my understanding, I thought that once I was at the postion for a certain amount of months and did very well, I could get to become permanent and work for the company but that was not the case. I did so well that they offered me another position in another department with the promise that I could be permanent after the year was up, but I was let go after 2 months working at this new department. I was told by the agency that the position came to an end. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Working from home  and no traveling so you save money on gas

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You have to keep track of break and lunch time and there are scorecards tracking your performance on the phone.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone gets along and there is no culture difference and all difference nationaties   working here.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Talking lots of calls mostly spanish calls because I am a Bilingual Agent

The job is pretty easy to grasp with the training provided. The call center has a very toxic work environment. The agents who have been there over a year are very aggressive and hostile towards new agents, especially if you excel at the job. The team leads show favoritism towards the agents they consider as friends. Any concerns taken to management will be discussed with other staff which creates more gossip and drama. I would not recommend this job to anyone who is a decent person looking to make a living.

It's not a stressful job at all.

Very good work environment. The company empowers those with low vision or no vision.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day working at this company is very relaxed. Business-wise it's very professional.

Always changing your standards and not allowing you to ever meet their standards in being told you're not doing a new job.  Not allowed to go to the bathroom only during brakes and lunch. If you go to the bathroom door new job you have to explain yourself why you weren't on the phone answering the customers. They micromanage everything and every second and every minute if you're not on the phone for anything.

Learning great new skills.
Being visualy impair. They give you the empowerment too succeed

They encourage team work while being able to work remote.

Sign in.  Assist customers with their needs depending on campaign.

It was an extreme pleasure to work for Lighthouse works. WE had teams which was nice. Dealing with the public was a pleasure. Love helping people.

No stress at least not for me.
