Branch manager was good but company is a joke low wages for the work you do no bonus incentives,benifits are the so bad unable to find doctors. Micro management is so bad that you can't work how you want to. Corp office does not know what they are doing as far as buying contracts no intelligence what so ever in programming nor any knowledge of the competition only go off of what other banks buy. Very outdated system and all 4 brothers (owners) do not care about dealers nor customers they play the dealers tell them one thing and do the complete opposite . Over all NOT a company to work for treats employees like trash. No recognition at all only for upper management if that. Only give $200 a month for car allowance but have to market 3 times a week with your own car, must go a certain distance to get your  expenses paid you fill up with $40 AND don't make it to that 100 mile round trip you won't get your 40 paid back I guess they need it more than you do.

A typical day at work involved me acquiring a new contract from a deal and reviewing entire package for accuracy as well as catch any fraudulent or false documents. i would verify employment for the client as well as residency and and insurance.

I learned how to deal with stressful situations in an efficient and stress free manner as well as how to calculate income for anyone to within one penny of IRS taxes 

My management team was great they provided a healthy work environment and helped me overcome any obstacles that i needed assistance with

The culture was great everyone got along like family and helped each other to the fullest

the hardest part of this job was the time crunch in which funding needed to be accomplished 

the most enjoyable part of the job is the challenge in presents as a job itself i like helping others and through my understanding of my job i am able to do that

I was a former employee. 
I personally experienced working for Lobel and I have to say, I dislike the Ft.Lauderdale branch. I have a 5month old son who had medical problems and I have absences and I have to say, this branched could care less. I can be dying and they don't care.   Unhappy dealers due to the fact that there funding process takes weeks. Its just a horrible branch to work at. Not to mention this branch opened January of 2015 and this year, and already been through 2 administrative assistant within the year. Unfortunately I was fired before I can quit. They already knew I was going to quit so instead they fired me. I would give it "0" stars if I could. Company was great but my branch was terrible.

Culture is important for the success of the team. We encourage active communication and transparency.  Managers are actively involved in all aspects of the branch to help make the day successful.  Upper management is always available to assist when needed.  There is definite job security, company invests time on developing team members. It is a demanding fast pace environment where you will be able to expand your ability to multi-task.  You have the opportunity to communicate with ownership.  It is unique workplace where you will be able to learn all aspects of auto lending from processing to titles to funding to dealer relationships.  

The job is ideal. You clock in and get right to the point. I learned to do outbound calls and how to take over the phone payments. Co-workers were very helpful and friendly. they make you feel welcomed to the team. There really isnt a "tough" part of the job its mostly all good! EXCEPT FOR MANAGEMENT THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. THEY DO NOT CARE OF ANY PERSONAL PROBLEMS EVEN IF THEY ARE LIFE THREATENING. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOU ATTENDING WORK. EVEN IF YOU ASK FOR COMPREHENSION THEY HAVE NO MERCY.

I was severely underpaid for my work for six years- no respect from my colleagues-  not saying I was right all the time, but I did most of the work for my team- lazy supervisor with the worst attitude- I stayed because I cared for the people there that I was friends with- managers were stuck up morons with delusions.  My manager was a complete tool with no respect from anyone-   If they went somewhere else they would never make it- thats why they would come back to Lobel-  The brothers love to fight with each other and can't make a decision as one- very entertaining - I left and made 25 grand more a year at another firm right away.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The only good thing about this job is you work Monday - Friday 8-5pm

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of professionalism, favoritism. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
You’re only a number to the company, they don’t care about you as a person. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful, management do not train you, you have to rely on your coworkers to train your and which some are rude and don’t care to help you.

This company is owned by 4 brothers.  Everything must benefit them with no benefits to employees or dealers.  The company provides auto financing for dealers' customers that have less than perfect credit.  Their practices are both unethical and illegal. These range from expecting hourly employees to work off the clock to not taking breaks,  etc to the collection techniques and tactics.  Do not get involved in working/partaking in any of the shenanigans at this company.

Pros: 8Am to 5pm
Cons: Everything, no training at all, if you are friend of the friend you will get a position, people stab each others in the back, no HR at all, ALL THE MANAGER WORK JUST FOR THE BIWEEKLY COMPETITION. Corporate is a mess and they play dealers. If you are a person that love your family don't even send your resume here. COMPANY MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST.
