What is the best part of working at the company?
The company used to have great employees engagement, picnics and Christmas parties. After Covid and as the company grow, the employees seem to master less. More work with work life balance 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
My experience working for Med-Metrix was extremely disappointing. The organization was incredibly disorganized and understaffed, which resulted in a constant struggle to meet deadlines and deliverables. Despite our best efforts, the company's lack of resources made it impossible to achieve the desired results. Communication was poor, with little guidance or support from management. Even worse, the company seemed content with mediocre results and had no interest in improving. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional and well-run workplace. I stress there’s absolutely no work life balance. 
 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No work life balance, 12-16 hrs daily, working on weekend to meet deadlines. Nonsense meetings all day long with no time to get your work done, which leads you to work long hrs at night and weekend. The company is productive driven, so the pressure for employee to hit there numbers is challenging to say the least. Poor pay rates for the reps, the bonus incentive is great but the company makes its so hard for you to actually hit your bonus. Also, senior leadership bonuses are based on how much they can reduce their margins. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Always on high alert, thinking about the fires you have to put out and the unrealistic demands

Working at this company for 3-4 years was the most stressful period of my professional life. The pressure was constant — weekdays, weekends, and holidays included — with no real downtime.

The work environment was difficult, particularly around expectations. Leadership frequently demanded results on extremely tight timelines, sometimes within an hour, which made it nearly impossible to do quality work. During my time there, I witnessed around 10-12 colleagues let go, often for performance reasons, despite what appeared to be genuine effort on their part.

Workload was unsustainable. There were stretches where taking a lunch break felt impossible. Employees — especially those with families — regularly worked nights and weekends. Despite putting in those hours, feedback I received suggested my output was still only meeting a fraction of expectations, which was demoralizing.

There were also noticeable issues with favoritism in how decisions and opportunities were distributed. Management did not appear to operate under the same pressure they placed on individual contributors.

The stress took a real toll on my physical and mental health, as well as my personal life.

Advice to Management: Set realistic timelines, invest in employee wellbeing, and hold leadership to the same standards as individual contributors.

I was referred this position by a temp agency, with the expectation that the job would become permanent after three months.  I was interviewed by two office managers, one of which seemed very thorough in his explanation of what the job duties entailed.  However, there were two major pitfalls during my two months of employment there.  First, the duties of the accounts receivable position, (which was outbound calls to insurance companies to collect unpaid funds,) included adjusting claims and reconciling patient accounts, which was not explained in the interview.  Also, the firm's computer application wasn't very user friendly and the data (account numbers and member names) that was needed wasn't available for days after training was completed. Secondly, the supervisors that worked directly with the A/R reps were not involved in the hiring process, therefore, both supervisor and the new-hires were "going in blind."  Rarely a good foundation for a professional relationship.

The work environment is modern and clean.  There are communal restrooms for the whole professional building, of which Med-Metrix takes up about 1/6, so there's little in the way of privacy, since it's always in use.

In conclusion, it was a temp job and if you're seeking employment and need something quick, you may last there long enough to get you from Point A to Point B.

The job I performed wasn't hard at all. I have experience so it wasn't a challenge. However, they environment alone was the most depressing part of working there. If you are looking for a place with great culture and moral values, you DEFINITELY HAVE THE WRONG PLACE! To me, they barely dID things by the book. It seems like it was just enough so that it was considered legal, but morally wrong. Management alone was the biggest problems! Management went through employees very quickly and have no respect for anyone but themselves. I'm use to a business setting that is very professional, but if you are ok with management walking around shouting out the F word here and there and cursing like a sailor or like they are at the bar, than this is the place for you. If you are only about money, than I can say they pay good, but I rather be in a place where I can actually learn from management and grow. Also, most of the problems came strictly from management. They gossip more than they actually work, and multiple times tried to stir up problems with employees. 

I wouldn't recommend this company at all!!!! Unprofessionalism is an understatement.

My experience at Med-Metrix was disappointing overall. Training was highly disorganized, with inconsistent instructions and little structure for new employees. It often felt like you were expected to figure things out on your own while still being held to high expectations.

The office environment could also feel unnecessarily dramatic and unprofessional at times. Minor issues seemed to receive more attention than actual workplace concerns. For example, there was significant focus placed on things such as nameplate-related issues while employees were dealing with much larger workload and training challenges.

The workload itself was overwhelming, especially considering the level of support provided. Employees were expected to manage a large volume of responsibilities with limited guidance and resources.

The benefits package was another major downside. PTO was extremely limited, with only 10 days available for the entire year, and there were no company holidays provided, making work-life balance difficult to maintain.

Management support was inconsistent, and interactions with certain supervisors made the work environment more stressful than it needed to be. Rather than fostering collaboration and employee development, the culture often felt focused on criticism and unnecessary pressure.




Please save yourself the few months you can handle working here and just look elsewhere. The turnover rate at this place is insane. I barely even knew the people on my team after a while because only about 5% of the employees actually stay more than 1 year. I lasted a year and hated every second. Although people are friendly, management strongly discourages any sort of social interaction during the day. At the same time they have a pathetic employee encouragement group that tries to “keep up morale” In the almost year I worked there I tried to keep positive while being moved to 3 different projects. It’s a great field and i am experienced in this field, however the management are rude and selfish and it makes for a dull place. Your job is very unsecure here as you are not a person, you are a number. As an employee who had a perfect productivity average and q and a score as well as made the full quarterly bonuses, which is almost impossible from what I hear from other employees,
I can tell you that my skills would be much better off in a place that appreciates their employees even in the slightest. I’m not sure about the Neptune office, but the management here need to be completely changed.

The company also provides accounts receivable, denial recovery, and payment variance services; and consulting services, such as valuation, cost accounting, and managed care contracting. Med-Metrix, LLC was founded in 2010 and is based in Montvale, New Jersey. This is some of what Bloomberg Business week comments..I work there and yes this is a family oriented business, in which the standards are really high and not for everyone, who likes to BS their way around. Yes Mother, Daughter, Son-in-Law work here and the owners are Father and Son and we are working not trying to go on line to get the radio or trying to complain about other's in a forum instead of talking to them about it. But as everything not everyone is going to be happy, especially the ones that do not want to do their job or think that working 50 accounts is too much! Oh and by the way maybe your spelling was off and that is why you are not here!

Where do I even start? RUN AND DON'T LOOK BACK!!! If you want a job that constantly lies and tries to get over on you, then this job is for you. Between the insane micro management and constantly talked down upon and much more... this job is hands down the worse employment experience in my career. The amount of work you do for VERY VERY VERY little pay is outrageous. It is hard to go above and beyond for this company when you are under appreciated and underpaid. You are also given tasks that are not only not apart of your job description but tasks that are a higher role than you; and yes, they do not give you compensation for more pay even though you are doing tasks that are higher than your pay rate. I can go into a lot more about Med-Medtrix, but I figure you have stopped reading by now and rushing to apply for other jobs because this job is just not it, but if you have read this far... congratulation you now have realized what kind of joke this company is and you should now have realized you need to run in the other direction and work for any other place that isn't here. If I could give -5 stars i would. The worst job i have ever worked at. CEO claims we are a family. If that were true most employees would not feel used and abused by upper management. Tools are force-fed to employees that simply do not work. Constant changes in management since none are competent enough to handle the job. Pay is absolutely atrocious and raises are done by performance reviews even if you only worked for your supervisor for a week. In my many years working i ended up with .35 cents for a raise. The current manager is a down right bully and border line abusive. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Employees have complained to HR about this manager and complaints are always overlooked. The new president however is wonderful and seems to really care, if only he knew of all the crooked acts happening on the AR floor. Director is just as bad as her managers. In my 25 years working with the previous company as well as this one. I have never been so disrespected and made to feel so insignificant. Please for your own safety and mental sanity STAY CLEAR!
