What is the best part of working at the company?
I have been with them for 90 days and I have yet been able to get my short-term disability just today got my HSA savings card. I have not gotten paychecks for over two months and nobody calls me back or response to me will be l leaving this company. My preceptor got hurt on the job and they never paid her short-term disability and it’s been over a year.


What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part is Medhq itself not the people I work with or the job

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?

My , coworkers are great because of Medhq management. I never did all of my 40 hours of work and whenever I get close to it, they send me home.


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Easy day in  pre op  and postop ,everybody helps each other

 The management is completely clueless and constantly makes poor decisions that negatively impact the entire team. There is no communication or transparency, leaving employees feeling completely in the dark about important changes or company direction.

The work environment is toxic and full of drama, with constant office politics and backstabbing. There is a severe lack of respect for employees, with unreasonable workloads and expectations that lead to burnout and stress. The pay is below industry standards and there is no opportunity for advancement or growth within the company.

Overall, this is a terrible place to work and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and look for a job elsewhere.

Physicians Endoscopy Center at 119 is a great place to work.  The typical work schedule is 0630-3pm. The center is closed weekends and holidays. The physicians are easy to work with, arrive promptly to begin cases and stay on schedule. Management is easy to approach, doesn’t micromanage employees, and is willing to help in any area where there is a need. As a 20+ year RN , this job has provided an excellent work life balance and sense of normal work hours unlike any other position I have had in the past. 

I enjoy working at 119 so far. The job is a piece of cake, and the management doesn’t micromanage you. It’s a job I can do, then leave behind when I leave work. This job used to have a lot more disgruntled/ungrateful employees, so some reviews have a lot of things to criticize. I like this job, it works well for me, and I enjoy waking up in the morning to go to work. Pre-op starts at 5:45 and ends around 2 PM, and PACU is 6:45-3 PM, so you have the whole afternoon free. The doctors are nice, drug reps bring us lunch all the time, and the staff is friendly and uses teamwork for the most part. 

'Leadership' (if you could even call it that) is extremely manipulative. They will make promises they do not keep, they only care about warm bodies being present not necessarily doing a good job. If you do a good job, expect more work without raises or rewards. 
They will flex you off. A lot. Despite having full time status, the hours are not full time. Some pay periods only had 10-15 hours at best many times. 
Management will place blame on staff for issues as opposed to creating a safe and thorough work environment, 

The only reason I gave 1 star is because you can't give 0. The benefits that this company offers are abysmal. Worst I have ever had! Our HR rep was an absolute joke. Never responded to emails. If you did get a hold of her she was 0 help. Let a cultural of toxicity run off some great employees. Never did an exit interview with any employees that left even though it is in the employee handbook which may have been a bigger joke than the benefits. 

The doctors were great. Most of the day you are asked to do busy work because there are barely any cases. I don’t see it getting too busy in the future bt just a few more cases.  You will be asked to cut hours on days. Also be required to go to the other location, at the beach on non-busy days. If you refuse you have to stay home. Favoritism very obvious!! Not the best sides with certain “people” and micromanages. 


Busy over worked mgmt fake no teamwork no open door policy don’t listen to employees about issues or concerns they don’t care about you or your suggestions you always have somebody looking over your shoulder

fake nice to ur face  talk bh ur back, no teamwk no one to turn to when issues arise it’s blown off  no help whatsoever 

Poor management, underpaid, over worked for low pay. Ignored when concerns raised. 
Typical day is having a million phone calls that take all day to accommodate plus expected work which is required to be done to be qualified for a bonus. Management is Not friendly or compassionate.
