Management is disorganized , short staffed at many clinics intentionally ( managers being crosstrained and seeing patients as MA or receptionist from 8/9am-4/5pm only mon-fri then 1 MA left on her own after), removed off shifts frequently or schedule constantly being moved around days to weeks out, favoritism for who gets there hours but alot of times hours cut for MAs/ receptionidts/providers; medrite CEO knows the company is not financially making money and has lapsed / not paid employer portion of health benefits ( benefits are bad where even if you do go somewhere high out of pocket costs and some places dont accept it)-> has led to providers leaving because they find out health insurance lapsed during period medrite didnt pay the " bills", they got rid of call center and aftercare department making providers have to call patients and respond to patient phone calls to clinic plus see patients ;  some sites are more busy ike 42nd street, myrtle, 225th st, 1090,1646, tribeca, etc. Medrite too cheap to pay EMR bill to allow patients to see there results and have access so we are telling patients the "system is down or being worked on." Then to add icing on to cake toxic work environments, definitely malpractice nightmare awaiting with the screwups that occur here, and you have to ask for a raise that is a high likelihood  to be denied or barely a raise. Some MAs have gotten 50cent to 75cent raises too. This place has firing sprees of good staff who know there job when the flow of patients goes down, or medrite is burning thru money and it creates chaos and slow downs in clinic flow because someone is always needing to be trained on how to do the job making them essentially dead wait or unhelpful. Steer away from NJ and NY locations they dont respect or appreciate there staff at all, just use and abuse; then when it comes to your paycheck you always have to fight with them to get whats yours whether your a MA or provider. Can't recommend at all, this company is only a stepping stone not a long time career unless you get in and are part of the favortism group of people who can assimilate. 

A typical day at work was stressful due to what I experienced as a highly unprofessional and challenging work environment. During my time there, I observed comments and attitudes from some staff members that I felt were inconsistent with the level of professionalism, respect, and inclusivity expected in a healthcare setting. These experiences sometimes made it difficult to feel comfortable in the workplace and raised concerns about how patients from different backgrounds were perceived and discussed.

One of the most valuable lessons I learned was the importance of professionalism, respectful communication, and ethical patient care. This experience reinforced the type of workplace culture and standards I hope to be part of throughout my healthcare career.

Management was one of the most challenging aspects of the job. Communication regarding scheduling and employment status was often unclear. My classification changed multiple times during my employment, and I felt there was a lack of transparency regarding these changes. After informing management that I was considering future military service, my scheduled hours decreased significantly. I also experienced difficulties regarding my final compensation, which required me to seek assistance through the appropriate channels to resolve.

The hardest part of the job was working in an environment where I often felt concerns about workplace culture and fairness were not adequately addressed. The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with patients and contributing to their care. Despite the challenges, I appreciated the opportunity to support patients and gain valuable experience in a healthcare setting.


The woman who manages this location is extremely unprofessional and sneaky. Its already difficult to find a stable job in New York City at a young age , the manager hired me for paid training and after 4 days of working in the office she stopped reaching out and went ghost .

As weeks pass and I wait for a response she replies saying she is busy and will pay soon , at this point I knew something was wrong so a followed up with emails and phone calls again but she stopped answeing... I became really concerned that I was being taken advantage of from this office so I took the liberty of calling her from a different number and she not only answered but called back .... it was clear now she was avoiding paying me ... I finally decided to walk into the office and talk about the situation and she started making excuses saying she was busy and that she was going to pay but decided she did not want to because she did not feel like paying someone who only worked 4 days .... she took me in with the promise of PAID TRAINING. and decided at last minute because she quote on quote "did not like me and doesnt pay unless I worked 2 weeks completely"
  NOT ONCE did she mention that or have me see or sign any written agreements.. Why ghost me after 4 days of paid training , tell me your going to pay soon then put me through all this trouble to eventually tell me you dont FEEL like paying me .. 
This has been a horrible experience , she made me feel. useless and told me when no one was looking thats she did not like me. 

this is my first time writing a review on here , thats how unprofessional and sneaky the management is. BE CAREFUL with these people ..

Disarray throughout my entire tenure as a healthcare provider for this company. The company itself is failing after pushing growth too quickly during COVID. The owners have no plans on how to improve patient metrics and thus resort to random initiatives that are thrown at staff without warning and without regard for the logistics. 

You will experience changes constantly and without warning. These changes include the possibility of your actual job site staying open, which means there is no long term job stability. Even worse, there is no set standard between clinics, meaning one can operate completely different from another, yet you would be expected to be able to go and manage it all normally. This not only affects job flow but overall patient care. 

Management are completely clueless/useless as there is minimal to no communication between them and ownership. Ownership is erratic and will make changes on a moments notice to go into effect immediately. There are no standards. 

They will try to suck you in with a high hourly rate, but be mindful this job is not stable at all, and your job is at risk at any moment. The company does not care to let go of individuals including providers and medical assistants/front desk staff. 

The rest of the reviews you may read are all true, and I should have been mindful to believe them before applying and working here myself. 

High key trash. Management can be trash. The company itself, trash. Don’t even do it to yourself unless you need experience. The locations can either be touch and go depending on the staff and THERE CAN BE SO MUCH DRAMA OMG. The company is not employee oriented. NEWS FLASH!!!! Happy employees = happy patients. The company decides to pay people of the same position different rates, CORPORATE DECIDES WHAT HOLIDAYS THEY GIVE YOU TIME AND A HALF FOR. Like no joke, They don’t give you holiday pay for every federal holiday (ex. Presidents’ Day). Management makes new rules everyday, There’s no way to contact HR, Payroll, if you have any internal issues beside getting a run around to the same 2 people, if you give them your schedule, they’ll give you the exact opposite and say it’s your fault and REFUSE to fix it, on top of all of this, you better PRAY that you get someone to properly train you because even that is inconsistent. 

Oh forgot to mention, if you STILL decide to work here after reading all of this, make sure you only work in one location UNLESS you want to transfer (which is a whole problem itself)… I got 3 different W-2s for working in three different locations last year…

If you like drama, inconsistency, and being a part of a joke of a medical company. This is the place for you. 

I wish I could give this company zero stars. The level of disorganization is alarming, and the training provided is minimal at best. Nurses are placed in the field with little preparation and are expected to independently manage complex situations without adequate guidance.
There is no time built into the schedule for lunch, documentation, or even basic necessities like taking a bathroom break. The workload is unrealistic, and the lack of support is felt daily.
Leadership is a significant issue. The program director, Daniel Declet, is consistently unprofessional and dismissive toward field nurses. Concerns about safety are brushed off, even in clearly unsafe home environments. The standard response to safety issues is essentially: “So you’re telling me you can’t see the patient?” This mindset puts both staff and patients at risk.
The concierge program overall is poorly structured and does not support patients in the way it advertises. Nurses are overworked, undervalued, and routinely exposed to unsafe situations. Ultimately, patient care suffers because the program lacks proper organization, leadership, and support.
I cannot recommend this employer to any nurse seeking a safe, supportive, or professionally managed work environment.

The company started off great and then as time went on many sites had to close, due to the Patient volume not meeting there grand expectations. This was also due to the sites always being near a CityMd, soon after that, cuts had to be made as well.soon as the sites started to close they would make these quick Decision as far as taking in PCP patients as if there providers aren’t doing enough taking in a pcp appointment while they  still have private patients to tend to this could be extremely overwhelming for anyone .  They also started dealing with controlled meds, just putting there hands in any and everything just to stay afloat forgetting what a urgent care is truly for, forgetting what they do for the community just to stay opened and that puts a toll on there providers.  as well as there employees Medrite is very backwards they sell a dream of how professional they are but they don’t keep up the same standard that they expect from everyone else, upper management is a joke the most unserious group of people iv seen they have all these aspirations without truly spending time in the sites and seeing what there providers,MA’s and PCA’s truly go through. 

During my time with this company, I found that there were significant gaps in training and communication. I did not receive clear guidance to perform my responsibilities effectively, and when I asked questions, the information provided was often incomplete. For example, important onboarding tasks like submitting vaccine records and a PPD test were discussed but not followed up on.

Training was frequently delayed, and I was given overdue tasks marked as urgent that were dated before my start date, which added unnecessary stress. At the front desk, I was often expected to cover multiple areas alone, which was challenging and sometimes compromised service and safety.

The management structure felt disorganized, and communication breakdowns made it harder to stay informed and supported in my role. These issues had a direct impact on my ability to do my job and on the overall work environment.

I believe this could be a better workplace if improvements are made in onboarding, training, and management accountability. Based on my experience, I would recommend future employees ask detailed questions about training and support during the hiring process.

Great teamwork, pay and management and staff collaboration!

I had no stress working with medrite. It was a fast paced project but the team coordination made it easy. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I worked in a clinic setting with a group of diverse professionals who understood their role and carried it out as assigned willingly, respectfully and with care. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The day started with a huddle where the plan of care for the day was set. Everyone was given their assessment and and break relief person assigned along with support staff for the day who made sure all the necessary supplies were readily available to provide patient  care then he/she would accompany the to the examination room for treatment/ vaccination. The nurse does verification and teaching according to protocol, administration of vaccines and documentation. Support staff waiting at the door would provide directions to observation area. At the end of the day there was another huddle for team reporting.

Wouldn't recommend this place. They don't respect Physician Assistants here. You will have to do  workload for 2 ppl you've been warned...You will be short staffed and have to see a high number of patients. Then a week or two after drowning without any help, help will come, when your burned out. Compensation is okay, benefits are mediocre, mostly run by managers who don't know what they are doing and always have to ask someone higher up the same question, it's really a mess here. To add icing on the cake slum lord owners don't want to hire janitors,Ir enough MA's etc so guess what you took on the responsibility of doing test and venipunctures, on top of seeing patients and charting. At one point MA's were quitting left and right because of the poor work environment and added workload of 2 ppl on 1 person.
