The company could be great, but management is only focused on the bottom line. The executives are well compensated and have generous benefits, but the average employee has next to no benefits (e.g., employees get 8 hours of sick time per year, 2 weeks vacation--but you cannot take it until it has accrued, medical insurance is extremely expensive, no paid maternity leave, no matching 401k plan and no bonus).

If you get hired here, negotiate a 'good' salary up front because the company doesn't give reviews or raises. If you want a raise, you must fight for it.

Be prepared to dress according to the dress code while watching the executive in charge of the office walk around with a scowl on his face wearing jeans and flip-flops (the executives don't have to play by the same rules that employees must play by).

Expect to work hard with little or no recognition from the CEO. If he likes something, he might tell the executive you work for. That executive might or might not tell you. The CEO will never tell you directly. Communication in general is very poor at the company. This is just one example of that.

The employees are generally very nice, but morale is very low. You would be hard pressed to find any employee who feels positively about the company and its management team.

	Supported the marketing and sales department by answering calls and setting up appointments with dentists, managed and created marketing pamphlets, ensured new and existing prospects were followed up with.
	 Processed correspondence and confidential documentation.	 
	Helped prepared invoices and monthly expense reports.
	Edited, helped create proposals and Prepared Power Point presentations.
	Maintained client relationships through social networking and events.
	Responsible for setting up phone consultations for Regional Sales Manager.
	Created and modified documents in Microsoft office, excel and PowerPoint.
	Coordinated with marketing, sales, and technical groups to facilitate marketing activities.
	Set up, coordinated and planned meetings, conferences, events and employee travel.

Mercer is a great firm to work for. The commitment to clients is second to none and opportunity for growth is really great. Relocation is an option too.

Management on down have a high focus in employee development because it makes a difference in the client experience.

This is the least stressful job I've ever had. You receive 15 days PTO and 10 days sick time. You can bank up to 18 days PTO and 25 sick days. Time off is extremely flexible as is the opportunity to work from home when needed. 

Management doesn't mirco mange and employees all get along. It is a little difficult to get to know your fellow workers as most people don't chit chat about life outside of work.

I've only been through one review cycle and no pay increase was available. I'm hoping that my second will have a little bit of a raise. Pay is good for the job requirements but, wish the quarterly bonus was more.

Workplace culture has no concept of "team"; everyone covers their particular base withe little to no collaboration or cross training. The hardest part of the job is that employees are simply not challenged. ZZZZZ.

Best part is that the manager kicks people out at 5:00 so the firm avoids overtime.  

I loved being a national practice consultant for Mercer Advisors.  I travel all over the country helping to create success in the practices of my clients.  
I loved teaching the staff how to make their role more successful.  I loved identifying the gaps in the practices and developing a treatment plan to create the necessary change.

Management lacks knowledge and experience.  Communication is poor to non-existent. Cult like job culture. Company is behind the curve in providing up to date systems and software to enable employees to be efficient.  No room for creativeness.

Mercer is a wealth management firm that puts AUM above all. I worked her for 25 plus years only to get laid off because they are moving their corporate offices to a new state and a lot of people weren't given the opportunity to relocate.

I've had a couple of roles with the company, however most of my time was spent as a CSS. The management in my office were very helpful and provided a great atmosphere for work. The company is growing fast and still figuring things out; therefore there's a lot of change; some a bit ineffective.
