Working here has had its up and downs. You basically are thrown into the fire and have to learn/teach yourself how to do your job. If you ask anyone questions there is a lot of attitude and they get fed up. The pay isn't great for what we have to deal with. There is emotional abuse from the patients and they do not get dismissed. I have been yelled at by a specific provider and they did not get in trouble because they make the practice money. The good side is they have flexible hours and work with you and find a place for you. There is tons of favoritism which can be insanely stressful. You work hard but do not get a raise unless you do incentive work which you never have time for since you have to do your actual job. The job also hires a variety of nationalities which is nice. Most managers have attitudes which makes it very difficult to turn to them for anything you may need. Its a good starter job, but not a forever job. You end up having to a lot of other employees jobs because there is no structure and laziness, which those employees do not get in trouble for. If you need experience, this would be a good start but you will not advance further. Also, housekeeping here is a joke. The place is very dirty, toilet paper is 1 ply and nothing is sanitized.

This place is honestly the worst place I have ever worked. The management have their favorites and if you are not one of them beware. Their favorite line to get people in trouble is that you are always on your phone but thats how everyone communicates in the office. If you work anywhere near the ultrasound department I would be careful of them especially the supervisor since she is close friends with one of the administrators. If they dont like you they automatically find ways to get rid of you. They do not provide breaks for you but even though you do not take your break they deicde to take it out of your pay which is completely illegal. The pay is way too low for the amount of work you put it. Basically the only good thing about this place is that it offers many locations to work in but if I were you I would stay clear of the main building because even though the staff and admin smiles in your face there is always someone listening in to try and get you in trouble. Best bet find somewhere else to work entirely.

I worked here for a few months. I began in the call center w the promise of eventually being promoted to recpetionist. I shouldve just stayed in the call center. Of all depts, its the best one to work in. I was promoted on the agreement of getting a "significant pay raise". Once I got there, I never had a meeting w the supervisor or HR re: my new pay rate. Turns out, I only got a $ .50 raise !!! In my opinion, that is no where near "significant" when you look at the level and amount of responsibility and work that goes into being a receptionist, especially compared to the call center, which is almost no comparison at all. The reception supervisor,  was a joke. She was rude, and laughed at EVERYTHING! I mean literally everything. A pt in the Urgent Care passed out and fell...she laughed. I WOULD NEVER EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING BACK AND ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE WORK HERE.

Middletown medical is a joke. All of their supervisors shouldn’t even have their job title. Nothing but favoritism and that’s the only way anyone succeeds there. Pay is ridiculous. They promise you a raise after 6 months, but you’ll have to hound them for it. They also state they have yearly reviews with pay increases. The only time you have a pay increase is if you beg them and then it’s still not much. Some people work there for 10+ years and make what new hires make. Training is a joke and you learn everything on your own. Coworkers talk behind each others backs, just like high school but worse.  Almost all doctors have nasty attitudes and talk down on their staff. Most of the time you can’t even take a break but they still take it out of your pay. Don’t waste your time, this company doesn’t care about any of their staff. 

I worked at Middletown Medical long enough to realize this was no longer a place I ever wanted to receive medical care. A good portion of the staff were unfriendly, unprofessional and lacking in the proper training to perform the medical care needed. The punch in/out clock was obnoxious, requiring 10 minutes at a time to do so. Management was completely disrespectful, making jokes about patients and other employees. Job descriptions and duties were changed on a daily basis, causing chaos and disorganized madness. The lunch room is about an 8x8 room, with tiny tables that face the wall, making you to feel like you are on some kind of a punishment rather than a relaxing break. Others stand over you while you rush to eat your food to allow someone else a chance to sit. This place is a dive!

I worked here for a while and learned many things along the way, mostly just from jumping in and doing things myself or asking other coworkers, not necessarily from any formal training. I felt appreciated by some coworkers but rarely heard any thoughts from management. The negative reviews I have read so far are mostly accurate. The pay was low and the workload only increased. The only perks were flexibility in shift hours (open, close, 12 hr shifts available) and occasional free lunches from drug reps. Many times I saw excellent clinical and reception staff being pushed to their limits when short staffed, also being denied any significant raises. I've seen great staff leave onto bigger and better things, so the turnover rate is also accurate. I learned many things in terms of front office work, customer service, insurance verification etc. and I would have stayed if they compensated me better.

Covid happened and I dont recognize this place anymore. Pay is not that great unless you become your own advocate cause they definitely wont offer you a raise. Supposed to have yearly reviews but nope, never had one. The practice as a whole is just disorganized with very poor communication. They dont seem to have a solid plan/procedure. Rules/Staffing changes hourly. Other departments pass off work constantly. Favoritism is on every floor/Dept. We are Always understaffed and people still will get pulled and sent to other depts, sometimes with zero training for said dept. Literal revolving door of employees. Great place to see/learn new things but if you can, find another place. 

This place allowed for me to advance within very quickly and learn new job fields.  The benefits were great and great people to work with.  At the time, this was my first job within the medical field and there was training in place prior to me started and the rest was learned hands on.  Once I got hands on there was times when other co-workers weren't able to help when needed and the supervisor at the time wasn't always around when a question arose. Benefits were great and the atmosphere was pretty good. They worked around other schedules and for others worked with school schedules and those with families.  Overall, very good to work for.

The place is run by the most awkward CEO. She is 
unapproachable and dehumanizing. Not sure how she got that position. As for the rest of the management and supervisors some of them follow her lead. It is no wonder they have a high turn over rate of employees.
The pay is poor with no raises in sight they just keep adding to your work load, you never get evaluated or praised for your work and nepotism is at an all time high. People are hired based on who they know, not on experienced. The work environment is sometimes hostile. Some of the employees are so 
unprofessional and come in to work with a miserable attitude. They don’t want to be there and the negativity spreads like wildfire. Job seeker  beware! Not a good place to work.

I thought I was going to work Urgent care when I first was hired.  I was placed in pediatrics "temporarily" until someone was hired for that position but it never came to fruition.  I didn't sign up for benefits because they were half of my paycheck.  I didn't get my post-training raise because I didn't finish 1 part of training because "they didn't have enough people to do the class yet."  I was praised by my co-workers and the physician that I worked for of my excellent work ethic and very quick ability to pick up the role I was in.  However, after I was going to return from my car accident, they said they didn't have a place for me anymore because "I didn't fulfill the job performance requirements."  I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you are completely desperate for a job.
