Excellent place to work!  Management does great job of making employees feel appreciated, from listening to concerns to supplying little gifts/treats throughout the year.  Management has recently been working to make changes to work flexibility due to employee feedback. Physicians are great to work for as well.  Always busy and new things to learn which make the work day fly and also present opportunities for advancement.  I have learned so much in my previous/current positions.  My manager is available for questions and concerns when needed, but otherwise, I have my job responsibilities and work on my own with manageable goals and deadlines  Very pleasant work environment.  401k plan is the best I have ever seen in any employer.  Generous PTO policy as well. 

A typical day at work there is very very busy, so your work day goes by fast. The doctors are always very appreciative of your work. I wished the management team was better, at things like not judging, listening to both sides of situations, managing the workflow better, and I wished management realized this because when good people leave, the patients and the doctors that you enjoyed working for, suffer always because good people leave. I liked my job, I learned lots more about GI. The hardest part of the job is being able to be strong and rise above workplace drama, I definitely learned to develop thick skin and always remain positive. I also learned there are managers at different companies who do appreciate their employees. 

I have been here at MGI for 10 years. Most people are hear to stay. And as the Company grows there are more new comers who fit right in with our family. Management works with you on your hours or needs, and have a open door policy whenever needed.  They Listen to what you need and have to say. Depending on your goals,there is room for Advancement. You have to speak up and talk to your boss.  As long as you are doing your job. That is all they ask of us.   Oh also lots of perks. They show just how much they appreciate us. 
 Of course no place is perfect,your going to have some bad seeds. Not every place is a good fit.So if you are always late,are always on personal calls,and cant get your work done..Then there is a problem.But this group will still work with you to succeed.  I promise,come join our team. You will be happy you did.
 

MGI has given me so many new opportunities.  I am never bored and we are forever growing.  I can truly say all departments work great as a team.  COO and managers are great with supporting staff and help work through problems.  We are very much a patient based practice. They come first!! The physicians are wonderful to work with and great at collaborating care with the team (schedulers , clinic staff and nurses ).  Honestly I left MGI for a little over a year and came back because the grass is not greener. There have been others do the same, leave and come back. I realized my problem was burnout not the place.  You know when many staff member have been at a employer for years (20 yrs on down) it is a good place to work.  Apply you won’t be sorry!!

Ive worked for MGI for over 17 years, still loving my job, it is different everyday, you are constantly learning. Our incredible nursing staff have years of experince, and longivity. That in itself speaks volumes. The providers are amazing and strive to let all employees  know we are apprecited. Yes, days can be difficult, the managment understands this and has an open door, if you need to talk, ask for help or just vent. We work atonamously and with our peers, to give our patients the best care, which they deserve, as they are giving MGI the chance to assist them in their heath care. You will not regret working for this amazing company




answered all incoming phone calls. Determined where the call should go by listening to the patient. If they were calling about their bill it would be my  position. I would bring up patients account review the account with patient. Collect payment. if paying by credit card we would take that information and process it thru the credit card account on line.  I would run a report to review all the high dollar accounts and i would call those patients to set up a payment plan.  Would run report to generate all statements.

Management hasn't changed in years, was micromanaged all day, every day, my direct supervisor took credit for my work, experienced backlash when I stood up for myself, my stress level was very high all the time. 

I love my job and this company.  Management is very easy to work with and approachable.  The physicians work closely with the nurses and there is a great team approach.  People are kind and respectful of each other.  Management works with you to help you feel very satisfied with your job performance.  They work hard to accommodate your vacation requests and I have never felt micro managed.  Many of the nurses have been here for several years.  You will not be disappointed working for this company.  

I have been with this company for more than 20 years.  I stay because of the wonderful physicians and management.  Our benefits are wonderful our physicians see to it that we are taken care of. I love the friendships I've made since I've been here. This is a great place to work. 

Great company to work for. The providers are a great group of individuals. They show employees, how important and appreciated, we are. This company has great pay, but the insurance is expensive, until you've worked here for 5 years.Leadership is in constant collaboration with staff to better employee and patient experiences.
