Supervision is very hands off and distant. Supervisors were based in California and Michigan and were not very helpful. I had a hard time reaching anyone when I needed assistance with anything. I was new and couldn't get questions answered to do the job efficiently and it took two weeks for them to set me up with what I needed to order new supplies. They did not have details worked out between the company and the practice I was working for. The practice Interventional Pain Consultants on Union Chapel Rd.  became very hostile and unprofessional as a result even though I was not personally responsible. They would not greet me, allow me to store supplies for work and, made me walk from the back of an icy parking lot with no salt while pregnant  so the doctor could take up two parking spots "or go home". Needless to say, I walked out that day and Millennium Health claimed they understood but, did not offer me an alternate assignment nor were they supportive. They appeared more interested in pacifying the practice and saving the account rather than ensuring the well being of employees.They said they would follow up with me regarding an interview about the practice and ensure that they would not do business with that practice anymore as they have ran off other assistants and, they never did follow through. Also, I left in December and, they still have not made a valiant effort to collect their electronic equipment that they loaned to me during employment, which I have until this day. (5/24/18) To me, that speaks volumes of the professionalism of both workplaces or lack thereof.

The department had a very high turnover rate with 20+ people who left (within one year). The supervisors had their favorite lap dogs who does what they are told and are always micro-managing the rest of the team. The work culture is pretty much like a high school environment. There's plenty of gossiping, bullying, and favoritism. There is no career advancement unless you are the supervisor's pet or lap dog. They only care about their own friends and take advantage of those who are not. There is a lazy fat girl who is always walking around watching other people do all the work. Being a team lead does not mean stand around and pretend to look busy. Make that person help out the team instead of letting that big idiot walk around socializing. There is plenty of work to do!


Don't stay at the company for too long because you won't get a pay increase. A bad work culture ruins it for everyone, so fix that and maybe people will consider staying longer. Try to reward people for their performance once in a while, otherwise they will not feel appreciated. Just because people are friends with the supervisors or manager doesn't mean they should walk around talking all the time. Find some work for those lazy people.

I was hired as a temp-to-hire in July and was not hired. I worked very hard and harder than the full time employee they hired in my immediate department. Supervisors rely on scare tactics and use favoritism as means as promotions. Director Clinical support is unqualified for her job title and does not have the ability to lead, she makes orders, snaps at employees, and talks in circles. Very shady place that takes advantages of temps and hard working employees. Lack diversity, they claim to promote within but bring people from the outside treating them better than their own. Dress code needs to be implemented, very odd that other employees dress up and others dress down. i.e, leggings and t-shirt.

Co-workers are very interesting, their is a different vibe and "culture" in each department and you can tell who is important and not by their demeanor.

TOP people like to hold redundant meetings to talk in circles and address "rumors" and update whats going on in the company. Company makes sporadic and irrational company decisions often and change back-forth with ideas.

When you see the same positions getting posted over and over again in this job market... that should raise some red flags. 
The job itself was easy enough for anyone to do but it's pretty repetitive and becomes boring very quickly.   
Management are all incompetent robots, pay is awful, blatant favoritism, mandatory overtime, constant stress, and the feeling that you're not actually learning anything useful.
I've even heard from other companies how bad their reputation is, lol.
If you're desperate enough to apply, all I can say is: good luck and prepare to feel disrespected!

Oh and benefits- don't expect tuition reimbursement unless you do their CTS program, only 3 free therapy sessions although this job will necessitate more, and hard to get PTO approved since they're always so understaffed (turnover is insanely high if you didn't figure that out already).


What can I say about this company? I should have realized from the jump that something was wrong when ZERO training was provided to me. Instead, I drove all over the Midwest and South shadowing different reps. Some days I would have to wake up at 3am and drive. I am not complaining about the driving but the scheduling of time with other reps was so poorly done by management. My direct supervisor was an amazing man who worked his butt off and taught me so many good things. However he was the only good thing about that company.  Lastly, they made everyone use personal credit or debit cards for hotels, flights, catered lunches, gas, personal food while traveling, and any other work related expense. And then they would often take weeks to reimburse. Really poor taste in my mouth from Millennium and I would recommend everyone who applies here to do their due diligence.

I understand why some people might not like the job. The hours are long. Over time is mandatory (tho they try to minimize it as much as possible). Mistakes are easy to do. The smell of urine can be a bit much. 
But personally, I don’t mind any of it. I like my job. They do have cross training and work to prevent burn out. Some more pros is that promotions can start as early as 6 months in. You do have to apply for the promotion. The supervisors are kind and understanding. The teams leads are always there to help. 
Sometimes we get free lunch and free items such as a jacket or tumbler. They do games during the meetings. They are also working on bettering the work culture by hiring more people and asking for suggestions from the employees. 

The job wasn't hard and the team leads and supervisors are all nice and aren't very demanding. Even after I announced I was leaving to go back to school they tried to set some time aside for me to check out the genetics lab. They had a fair amount of company picnics and holiday events that were nice. Overall it was an enjoyable place to work, as far as working with urine drug testing cups could be, and the benefits were nice, but there are other places that pay more. I got an offer for the same position at $2 more an hour while I worked there, and I would've taken it if I didn't want to leave working with urine cups completely. 

Also, no real cafeteria or anything there, just a sandwich vending machine thing and microwaves. There was a 7/11, a chipotles, and a wendy's nearby.

Middle management have no skills as managers and are terrible at motivating and giving incentives to employees. They reward their friends who are not as skilled as other employees. There is strong favoritism and nepotism and racism as only one race of people are advanced and that is the Filipino race. They advance people who do not even speak English who never even show up to work. Employees who have higher education and are talented have no chance at advancement. It is a backwards system. There have been 5 CEOs in the past 5 years and there hasn't only been huge turnover with C suite but with all other employees as well. The company does not work to retain their talent and mold their talent to progress their careers.

My managers and coworkers are supportive, responsible, and responsive.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
We know how many patients are scheduled to come in but have no idea when they will come—so the flow is uneven (sometimes super busy, sometimes super slow).

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Positive and supportive.  I feel valued and respected as an employee.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I check work orders, enter them into our database, escort clients to the UA room, monitor them as they provide samples, make sure all protocols are followed, report any suspicious behavior, and ship samples to the lab at the end of the day.

I worked 3 12 hour shifts. I was responsible to obtain blood sugars before all meals and treat as ordered. Administer daily and morning medications within a specified time period. I was also required to assess wounds and treat as ordered. 
I was responsible for overseeing and discipline  as needed CNA's. That could be a difficult part related to the CNA's not fully understanding the impact on my nursing license if anything happened to the residents.
My co-workers were usually LPN's, however some had more experience in the long term care setting. Of which I would  understand how to make my job more effective.
I really enjoyed getting to know my residents on a personal level and be able to notice small changes to address them early before the resident's care became comprised.
