It wasn't easy to work with some of the people.  You would really need to be thick-skinned to work with some of the employees and doctors and being that I was wasn't in with the office click and didn't have tenor as others', the treatment of employees was different.  There was not equal treatment across the board.   I enjoyed what I was doing but the Office Manager and I had different ideas of what my job duties were.  She had one idea and it wasn't what I was I thought I was agreeing to until I was a few months in and started understanding exactly what she was wanting me to do.  Due to this, it caused strife because I was required to have a daily quota and the position is just not a position that should have a daily quota because depending on calls received the quota would not be met, so I was not able to meet the quota as required and my concerns and reasonings were not considered, so knowing it would lead to my termination I felt it was safer for me leave the company, and they can hire someone that could maybe be better at meeting the quota then myself.

I enjoy doing what I have studied for.  I love what I do and I'm very good at it. My patients look for me to help them and explain everything that we are trying to accomplish in their health.  I have learned a great deal from the doctor I work with, he has taught me about medications, lab results and why we need to do the things we do for the patient.  The only thing I dislike about this company is that management is down your throat if we laugh with a patient, and even if we talk to each other.

-You have to order chemotherapy drugs at least 2 days in advance.
-Nurses fail to communicate to you when a patient is being added to the schedule. So it's hard to keep up with your ordering at times.
-There is no pharmacist on site, so you do as the nurse tells you.
-Horrible management and nurses try to micro-manage you. 
-There is no job advancement. 
-Your pay is also capped at a certain pay. 
-HR is no good. HR is suppose to be a mediator for employees, but she takes sides and shouldn't.
-It's no good to complain to management because you will not be heard

As with any company, make sure you do your thorough amount of homework on the company prior to going in for an interview. This physician practice has been in the area for over 10 years, and recently experienced a growth spurt. From the exterior, things seem great, but be careful. I don't want to jade your judgment here, but consider all aspects prior to considering employment here and be sure that your personality will be a fit with this group. That is all I will say.

Overall it is a good company to work for. I just wish the work load was not so heavy or we were pain more for the amount of work we as MA's did. As a MA there it is stressful, a TON of things that is must that you do on a daily basis. The employees were nice and easy to get along with. Rules changed on a weekly basis, management was wishy-washy....there were a lot of things that could be changed. I enjoyed working there. The pay was not good compared to the amount of work put in and raises are rare.

By far the most toxic environment I've ever worked in.  People are fired for little or no reason and turnover is atrocious.  Senior management turns over every few months.  There is no appreciation of employees whatsoever and the physicians will outright lie to you and reneg on promises made (i.e. bonuses).

If you want to be miserable, constantly looking over your shoulder, wonder why productive employees just "disappear" this place is for you.  

Seriously, run for the hills.  This place is a horrific mess.

I have never worked for a company where a change in management practically made a whole department crumble. The disrespect, the lies, the lack of communication, and the deceitfulness is at an all time high! You have no one to go to or no one that you can trust- not even HR! You have to look over your shoulder and it makes it a very stressful place to work! 

Business Office environment has become toxic under new management. Turn over is at an all time high, over a dozen employees have resigned in the past 2 months since new management has come on board. Some of those that have left were good employees with great work ethic. Job security is pretty much gone, even while being understaffed. 

Wonderful physicians, friendly co-workers, and amazing patient population. Work environment is challenging (in a good way) and usually fast paced. Always new opportunities to learn new things. 

Check in on a busy day 60 to 70 patients, on a slow day 40 to 50 patients a day. The busiest part of the job was doing solo check for approximately 70 patients without assistance. Sadly management would not consider hiring additional help, however it was nice to have a coworker make the day enjoyable with laughter.
