Co-workers work very well together, but most feel the company is under staffed = stressful work environment. 

Training for new hires is okay at best. Very scattered schedule; written scripts are given but don't really work on the phone, learned things that don't pertain to your job which was confusing; start adding more to your workload pretty quickly without much explanation.

Meetings always seem to be going on = longer wait times = frustrated clients and stressed employees.

Management seems disorganized, and they don't communicate to the rest of the staff.

Overall not a terrible place to work.  Everyone is friendly and supportive most of the time. Very unorganized leadership because they typically don’t last very long. Owners are constantly changing mind and ideas. They talk a big game but goals and progression rarely happens. Constantly changing direction and never following through on plans. Always moving from vendor to vendor saying “they didn’t do what they said they would do for us” usually related to pricing. Ex. Phone systems, IT companies, marketing companies. High turnover, people don’t last long.   It’s difficult to get raises or even cost of living increases. 

Leadership at this company has always been busy riding the success and prosperity initiated by the founder of the agency.

Their top sales producer will waste your time making inappropriate jokes because he's clearly frustrated at home while management will change strategies on the fly with zero consideration for anything that worked or didn't work about their prior strategy.

Miller's is a great place to work if you love endless checklists and you hate yourself.

Managed operations of the agency's Commercial Lines Department. 

Promote the development and production of profitable business and ensures the effective marketing of the company’s services and products. Developed new business opportunities by understanding the customer’s business and identifying additional product and service offerings to improve efficiency.

Lovely coworkers, however, regardless of how strong you are towards management about needing proper compensation you will not receive it. That has been my experience. They don't seem to value loyalty and will go higher new employees instead of building morale with current employees. Management tends to make empty promises, too. Like I said, though, great staff to work with.

Fast paced environment with ever-changing priorities. Kept current on insurance carriers, products, coverage's and trends in the marketplace.  Worked well with all my co-workers. Sometimes stressful, but rewarding knowing your helping your customers and protecting their needs.

They like to put an impossible workload on you.  Having you do the work of two or more people.  You're expected to answer phones, service the clients, write new business and requote existing business in a very busy office.   One person handling over 50 phones in a day, plus do everything else is impossible.

Management is unorganized and always changing, compensation is underwhelming, and job responsibilities change daily. The only redeeming quality about working here was the relationships I was able to build with my coworkers. Trust me, just keep looking.

The company has a great training program for new hires.  The employees are all friendly and willing to help each other.  They also do nice little extras to make this a nice place to work.  Good benefits as well

The leadership was non existent.  They are not a very diverse or inclusive company .   They had no regard fir HR compliance.   Owner is very narrow minded and old school.  I would never recommend this organization to anyone
