They bread crumb you on how much work it actually takes to complete the process to close a deal. Training up to a certain point and then you have to practically beg someone to show you how to do the next step in the process. They expect too much work for the amount of pay. They give you a salary and a "guarantee" which is really a draw that constantly rolls over; adds up and you owe back to the company before you make any commissions. Thus, setting you up for failure from the beginning. HR does NOT fully explain this to new employees! In two months I had 3 different managers who were NEVER available because they are over worked. The culture was good but not enough to stay. They claim to give the work/life balance but start making you use your PTO after taking a couple of WFH days.
Often it was loud. Account managers talk down to recruiters. (Gaslighting, sarcasm & blatant disregard) If you like cold calling, a 100 calls a day, sending over 500 emails & texts a day, plus a ton of admin work, add Saturdays too! This is just the beginning to acquire a pipeline. (25%) of the total work included in the whole process. Save your self some time and skip to the next job ad!!

Company culture was decent, great managers (IF YOU GET ON THE RIGHT TEAM), and very flexible with granting time off.  Honestly, they weren't that quick to fire people compared to similar companies I worked for. 
The real problem is that the service you will be selling day in and day out is in a horrifically over saturated market. You will spend all day dialing and talk to nobody because Doctors are sick and tired of phone calls. 
Additionally, they do NOT equip you with the proper tools to succeed. Senior members of some teams are given special paid access to databases that you will NOT be getting, and gives them a huge edge. 
I left this position not because of being fired, but because honestly I truly believe that advances in technology are going to make jobs like this a thing of the past. Make money in recruiting positions like this while you can, but I highly doubt it will be around in 20 years.

This job requires a lot of patience, cold calls and luck on your side. There is high turnover at the company, that is just locum recruiting in general. The upper management does a great job with keeping a good work culture but at the end of the day it is a business that has to make profit off of you. The first 6 months consist of 100+ cold calls and you are expected to stay late at least 2-3 times per week, otherwise you are frowned upon. They do a lot of sourcing training which is great but it also still involves a lot of luck on your side to call the right physician at the right time and sell them on choosing you over the 100 other recruiters calling them. If you are lucky enough to score a few physicians in your first few months then you will probably be successful otherwise, you most likely wont make it. But if you can make the cut.. you have the ability to make great money. Those are pretty slim though. 

I have really enjoyed getting to know the team here at MPLT. It is a fun environment where I feel like people work together. It is fulfilling to help doctors get jobs they want and to help clients get the people they need. It's a great group here and I have met a lot of people I would consider my friends now. They say it's like a family and I really feel that it's true here. The leadership is here for you and the team supports each other. I look forward to coming into work now and I think that is worth a lot.

MPLT is a great company as a whole. When i joined they were going through a bit of restructuring as well as a major change to locations due to rapid growth. The leadership of the company is a true, down to earth core that cares about their people. I personally do not feel I was given a fair chance to thrive at the company, however due to COVID-19 I understand things were very uncertain for everyone. Overall I have nothing negative to say, if there is an open position - go for it!

The CEO is very old and has ancient processes and technology as a result.  Very poor culture with most everyone in the office clearly hating their jobs.  The company doesn’t offer flexible solutions for their clients, so ultimately not a very valuable service being offered.  They literally have trainings on how to properly lie to their clients on available candidates (aka bait and switching).

Very nice and professional . They look out for their employees

Working , seeing patients and charting

Terrible work life balance, very little training and support from leaders. Mean girl atmosphere with coworkers. Entitled as well. Very little leadership and support. I would give zero stars if I could. Expect favoritism.  The most favorable part of the job is the last day I left that building. 

MPLT is a great place to work for many reasons. I work with a team of people who really build each other up and help each other out. They hold events every month to do something fun for the team and we have decent benefits. The CEO and VPs are really cool about being there for the team and helping us improve and grow.

Worst place ever, you will be just another number. Constantly have to watch your back because people are getting fired left and right, and you won't be able to focus on working because you just don't know when will be your last day. Nothing is ever enough, pushing you to work jobs that aren't even open. RUN RUN FAST!!!!
