Good support from management. There is little to no lead flow from either SDR’s or inbound leads. In my 19 months in the role I received 1 inbound lead and had 5 meetings booked by SDR’s, only 2 of which actually held.   

They are big on training which is great and it’s not a super micro-managed environment. However, despite being constantly told I was doing all the right things, had a clean sales process, presented really well,  ran great demo’s and asked prospects the right questions, it was difficult to gain much interest in the product at the <50 employee level, which was most of my market. 

In my experience,  your market/territory is going to be the biggest factor in your success. Heavily populated /metro areas with lots of businesses that are open to improving their processes would be good. I sold in a small, brand new market where >95% of businesses were under 40 employees, where the product really shined in the >50 EE range. 

All in all, this can be a good place to work but know that like most sales jobs, it will not be easy going. 

The company is currently feeling some major growing pains. Many in management say this is a good thing and have a bright outlook of what's to come, but those on the front lines do not feel the same. Significant worry of decreased work-life balance, unrealistic and unachieveable goal setting (setting folks up for failure and giving reason to terminate), layoffs, and more uneasy feelings plague a heavy majority of the employees who perform the day-to-day work that keeps this company going. 
The executive leadership does not even know their front line employees anymore. Employees have become just another number.
I hope they realize just how important their employees are and begin to work towards retaining employees and valuing employees.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Remote- work from home work environment.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management is terrible. The belittle the employees, flaunt bonuses and trips for executives and leaders, while benefiting from our hard work with no bonuses for others. Typical nonsense! 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
WFH but the culture is accepting and pleasant.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I waste a lot of time being unproductive because management has no clue how to run their areas. Employees ask for help and guidance and are ignored.

Horrible company to work for, if you don't fit the mold they will let you go. I was told I didn't appear happy enough and I put my elbow on my desk so I appeared bored. I then received my termination letter and the reasoning was work performance. However work performance was never discussed I had no idea I was being let go. I've never been employed somewhere that they don't at least have a discussion with you first and give you an opportunity to make things better if they are not satisfied with your work. I did my job as trained and instructed to do.

Netchex prides itself as a great place to work. The truth is: extremely poor management, no base to turn to that is unbiased if you are having issues, overworked and underpaid. The work is extremely overwhelming and stressful. You will never get time off during the holidays to be happy or to travel. There is no work life balance. The only life you will have is being stuck with your co workers 24/7 like a cult. The company is small and understaffed to handle the magnitude of accounts they try to get. It is a joke how they treat their employees.

Netchex has a strong team culture, and I truly enjoyed working with the people there. The HCM technology is innovative and provides great value to clients. However, frequent changes in leadership created a sense of uncertainty around job stability, which made it challenging to feel secure long-term.

I came in at a weird time (busiest season, supposed to be getting a better telephony system "soon", etc.)  when any CSR could take a phone call for any topic. There were multiple important call topics upon which I wasn't trained. I'm all for learning on the job, but that's not easy to do when someone's on hold and there are 15+ calls waiting. There's also a sort of secret social hierarchy for who to ask about certain problems, and I wasn't impressed about the lack of transparency there.

Netchex is a great place to work as long as you work hard. They promote from within and genuinely try to retain employees. Its not hard to stand out, if you aren't afraid of hard work. 

At the same time, this is the only place I've ever worked that truly understands that I am a family member first, not an employee. They support a healthy work/home life and that's most important to me!



Key investments in product and techonology this year will be a game changer moving forward.

The sales role is a high velocity hunter job, so built for people who are willing to work and are planning to build a long term territory.

Leadership seems to listen and care while also challenging everyone to uplevel

Your pulled in so many different directions ( i.e. client visits, broker meetings, team meetings) when do you get a chance to concentrate on getting sales, training at this company is rushed and horrible, you leave feeling lost, they feed the ones they want too there, cult-like environment.
