I  Really enjoyed working with the consumers I grew Very attached to them I learned to have a lot more patience the part I enjoyed most about my position was that my consumers grew attached to me that they relied on me to be at work they knew the time I was clocking In and out.. the hardest job I would say was when a consumer was having a bad day and they would be non-compliant because it sometimes would be a challenge to redirect them but I had the skills and training to do it so I had more good days then bad

The houses look nice, but inside the company is falling apart.
No staff. No respect. No help.
Low pay for medical staff (don’t waist your license on this place). 
No understanding of proper medical care ( don’t risk your license on this place)
Managers are on call all the time and receive calls at all hours of the day and night. 
Never the same staff from shift to shift. Call outs and terminations are abundant.
Staff are hostile with one another and high ups do nothing to stop the work culture. 
Cameras through the home are positioned near bathrooms, client bedrooms  and even in the company gym at the main office. Supervisors and higher ups watch and discuss camera footage like it’s a sport. Odd

The most challenging part of a CFO's responsibilities at a non-profit concern is in securing grants from the state, as well as private funding. This was a major challenge and a learning experience.

Managing all aspects of the company's financial organization, which included, but is not limited to, generating financial statements, financial policies and procedures and managing the the accounts payable and billing operations.

Helping to turn a non-profit company from a nearly bankrupt going concern, to an organization with a strong financial position that continues to serve the disabled community to this day, was a very gratifying experience

These people seriously do not care about the clients they just want their money. Do not trust your loved ones to be anywhere close to this organization. They will leave your loved ones without proper hygiene, handle them roughly, ignore their wants or needs. They hire the worst possible people to work here that will expect you to work 4 times as hard to do your own expected work and theirs as well while they go and hide in the clients room and sleep themselves. They will treat you like garbage and let go of very good staff to accommodate to their poor staff feelings. This place is truly unprofessional. It’s heart breaking how they treat the clients. No care for them.

I assist elders who have disabilities with their daily living. I food shop, distribute medication, check blood sugar, and give insulin. I assist with fun and educational activities with my consumers. I make sure they eat dinner, make lunches , and prepare them for the next day.My job taught me how to check blood sugar and give insulin. Before I got hired I never knew how to do it. I learned about different medications and dosages. I love being able to help people, but the hardest part is getting attached to them. when it's certain situations that are out of my control I dislike that I can't try to fix the issue.

Management sells what a wholesome environment this is,  and how they adhere to the mission statement. Which would be wonderful if it were actually true. The work environment and politics are absolutely toxic. So much backstabbing and scapegoating. The only other decent thing other than pay and benefits are the consumers. They are worth getting up everyday and working hard for.  If only management actually made it so that only the consigned matter,  as they claim. This company honestly sullies this entire profession. 

I have been with NCFL for almost a year. We are clearly changing and improving for the better. Effective and caring leadership team seems focused on hiring the right people to ensure efficiency and, most importantly, top notch care for our residents. Process improvements continue to be identified and implemented. Interacting with our residents is enjoyable and the most rewarding part of the job!  The culture is slowly improving for the better and and dedicated, honest and hard working employees are truly valued!

BE AWARE!!! Completely unprofessional staff from top to bottom. Terrible. make up rules as they go. You are not judged according to performance or ethics, you are judged and treated according to the personal opinions of the upper management who are all completely unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing. Its no wonder the company has been around for so many years with no progression. They dont care about the clients its all about money signs and i could not be a part of that. 

The trained staff to the best level that they are able with in need of serious help that the can not get any where but with New Concept's For Living. There is a Management team work and comprehensive system put into place that any one can in trust their love one or their children in their care.

They treat you like you are a  criminal , watch you on the cameras  constantly  Do anything that makes your job hard . Don’t like to see you happy at job. They like to fire ppl everyday they seem to get some Type satisfactions outta doing that. I’ve been there almost 3 years it was great when I first started but fortunately when you’re not a yes ma’am or yes  sir your job get harder
