The members are a joy to be with in your work with them.  Paid time off benefits are amazing.  The pay is abysmal.    The insurance offered is horrific. There’s no room for advancement or raises.  But the experience you gain here seems all the worthwhile.  And my Coworkers are generally pleasant to be around and work with

Management never followed proper protocol for any disciplinary actions. Management never investigated concerns that were communicated via text or email. Unprofessional staff, under qualified staff. Poor treatment of special needs children by certain staff. Over worked and under paid. Worst place I’ve ever worked at. Accused of mistreating staff because expectations were not met, accusations made upon me based on he say she say no proper investigation made.

Management sucks. They are all liars. Most of the office personnel at the site look like they are drug addicts. They try to cover up their own faults and then blame it on you. Upper Management along with the Human Resources director is a complete joke. They don’t help you with anything. Manager at the site has no clue what he is doing but thinks he does. They have racist workers there.

Good place to earn experience but not to make a career out of. You are not compensated very well for the amount of work you put in. All positions are salary and you often find yourself staying later than 9-5 unpaid; but the vacation, sick, and personal time is unbeatable and makes up for the pay. Family-like enviroment.

A typical day at work is looking out for the well-being of the clients and making sure they are safe and feel supported. Co-workers are supportive and reinforce policies for new employees. Supervisors and director are receptive and open to feedback and suggestions to improving areas of concern from front line staff.

Most of the employees work hard & feel passionate about what they do. The agency is not forward-thinking or creative in how they support the staff. The salaries are low, the time off is generous, the health insurance is expensive.

The job is ok, the consumers are great . Like with any job its usually not the job that's the problem, it's the co- worker's is where things began to be an issue. However with a caring and nurturing spirit. You'll look past that, and understand your purpose is for the consumers.


This is a perfect place to learn the in and out of Case management. It’s a entry level position but worth exploring.  You can learn a lot from here to gain experiences within your field. 

Too much paperwork and documentation and running around and chasing families. It seems like management is stressed and as a result it trickles down to the employees. 
The good news is that employees gain skills and ability to move up 

If you are looking for advancement opportunities or to work with an organization where you feel appreciated, this may not be it.  Perhaps this is a place to get your feet wet in the mental health field but not a place to stay forever.
