Full Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Virtual Psychotherapist, where you will provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health support to diverse clients through telehealth platforms. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality psychotherapy services remotely. You will work closely with individuals across various age groups and backgrounds, utilizing your expertise to foster healing, resilience, and growth in a supportive virtual environment.

<Responsibilities>

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute psychological distress or emergencies.
Utilize telehealth technology effectively to ensure seamless virtual therapy sessions while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Document clinical notes, treatment progress, and medical records accurately using medical terminology and ICD coding (ICD-9, ICD-10).
Collaborate for case management, especially when working with clients.
Engage in ongoing clinical research and data collection to enhance therapeutic outcomes and stay current with best practices in mental health care.

<Qualifications>

Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapistlicensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), psychologist, or equivalent in Florida.
Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, EFT, or couple's therapy.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical documentation standards such as HIPAA regulations.
Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, couples and families.
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient care best practices.
Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques and social work skills.
