Interviewed for regular full-time work.  Turned out to be temporary.  

Tendency for lack of transparency.

Evaluations after little time there, based on one person's view and unfair opinions, but, presented as large group if people spying and reported.  Nice professional people were put under the bus.

Felt led on, used, disposable. Not respected for my hard work, professionalism, education, training, and experience.

Providers, IT, social workers, and techs professional, well-liked by patients.

I enjoyed the overall experience, despite being reminded, "you are only temporary," constantly.

Wish I had been given the chance to continue, as an equal position opened up and I was misinformed intentionally, after leaving that there were no employment opportunities.

I took this job because no one else was hiring at the height of the pandemic. Management tries their best, but this place often feels like an out of control car and management are the drivers trying to set it back on course. At first I was jarred by the seriousness and almost corporate like atmosphere, especially after coming from a small practice where we knew each other and had worked together for so many years. The higher ups do mean well but have a long way to go to find their place and do right by the employees like, for example, a reasonable raise. High turnover + understaffed = patient dissatisfaction. My immediate coworkers are nice and have taught me a lot. In all, it's been a positive learning experience working at NCHC but I don't actually see myself working there longer than a year at most. 

A typical work day consists of high volume of clients requesting for assistance with appointment scheduling, account payments, information about facility growth, etc. With this practice I have obtained skills with patient communication, management of a team, insurance information for CT, and collaborate with a healthcare team. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help without strife. The doctors are great and work very well with clinical staff and administration. Toughest part of the job is maintaining control of high volume of clients.

This has been an excellent organization to work for over the last 7 years. It is a pleasure to work among your team, other colleagues and the senior leadership all of whom are so supportive. NCHC is an integrated health care Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This is a wonderful organization to work with and for!

 Such a rewarding place to work!  Highly recommend at all levels to others seeking work in healthcare care! 

A typical work day would consist of making sure all rooms are stocked appropriately, screening patients, performing tests, collecting specimens, and minor administrative duties (mainly clinical).
The staff there is very friendly and helpful. They are all about team work and everyone pulling their own weight.
Hardest part of the job was creating a proper balance in your administrative and clinical duties. That is why communication with your team is key.

That no one vouches for the staff especially the medical assistant. The medical assistant gets so much work put on them, mistreated by providers, low pay, and yet they expect us to work with w smile

The environment is toxic and the culture is diverse

Rooming patients, getting more work added onto us

Nice Facility, Bullying problems work environment can be hostile at times, let's employee's do anything they want, good company other then that. Like what they stand for.

Great compensation and benefits. Convenient location. Professional teamwork and collaboration. Most management supportive. Job security for contractual providers not satisfactory; chances of permanent hire don’t seem better than for outsider.

Everyday I am learning something new. My co-workers make me feel like I have been working there for a long time. I have learned to work with Pediatric, and Adult patients. The hardest part of the job is not getting attached to my patients. The most enjoyable part of the job is coming in to work every morning to help everyone that is seeking care from a Doctor.

I was only a Locums at this location, there was no contract. I worked for a summer while the regular APRN was on maternity leave

management was present and approachable
Learned several new systems with translators and commjunity services
hardest part of the job was the crazy commute time
the whole job was pleasant, no complaints
