The ONLY positive thing to say about this place is the work-life balance. Having the ability to work 4 ten-hour shifts was beneficial to employee happiness and overall productivity. Where to start, management has favorites and will not even attempt to hide that, how you say nepotism? Upper management and HR will pretend to have your best interest in mind but revenue is really all they care about. The doctors are great people to work with and the patients are great as well, but it is a toxic work environment where you're constantly being reprimanded for work duties that change almost weekly. The office manager would literally give you the silent treatment, no greeting or even friendly chat. Professionalism? Never heard of her. This is a great place for new MAs fresh out of school to get some experience but move on when you cap out (it won't take long because annual employee reviews don't actually even exist here). Don't feel bad though, it's a revolving door, and employee retention is clearly not a goal of OnPoint. There are so many doctors' offices and remember, every employee and EMPLOYER is dispensable. We spend a lot of our lives at work, make sure it's a place that you feel valued and appreciated. 

Management is all over. One minute they will “act”as if they are on your side and next they are against you. Huge favoritism in this company! They will pick who they like and don’t like. If you’re buddy buddy with your manager, you’re great; if not you’re screwed. Has an extremely high turnover rate! Some people don’t even last a day. They hire and fire like it’s nothing else. Never seen a company fire someone so fast after being hired. There’s no way for you to do your job here without being yelled at for something. Policies here are a joke- they don’t follow them. They want us to collect copayments, case rates, past balances and etc but if patients complain they just are like ok. You’ll get yelled at for not collecting. Terrible training for staff. If you try to bring up concerns about something, you’ll be put on their blacklist. Benefits are a joke. Insurance packages are not great. PTO is nonexistent. Totally not worth your time here!

I transferred to a different OnPoint office after having consistent issues with another coworker at my initial hire site. Ultimately, I had to leave the group altogether after a group of coworkers decided to target me, causing a relapse in my mental health. Be very, very careful when accepting a job with this organization. Yes, you will find nice people on staff, but management at each office varies significantly. You may be asked to resolve your own conflicts rather than having your supervisor step in and assist. Also, since we spend so much time at work, our coworkers are like our family, but there is so much toxicity that you are better off just keeping to yourself. The job is hard enough without having to be constantly stressed out by petty drama.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people I work with are an amazing team! The company values thier employees and I really like that!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
To me my job is not stressful. I enjoy my job and if you enjoy your job there is no stress.. basically it’s just the hustle and bustle of the job.. but with every job there’s stress. I just choose not to let things bother me. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
They stick by their policy but it’s a very happy fun environment. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I help patients that come in with bills asking for explanations, try to get them an appointment with their provider, I help the PCC’s with their work flow among other front office supervisors duties.

After being here 2 months, and pointing out several issues to management (which was a function of my role), and seeing no changes implemented on any level, on top of the literally EVERY SINGLE manager and doctor having a god complex to a terrible degree, I can't say I would recommend any role at this company to anyone. The few good people in leadership either don't see the issues or make no effort to change them, and the bad ones make it so bad that you don't even want to be there. Most snobby executive leadership I think I have seen in all my years in corporate life.

STEER FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

As a growing company, OnPoint offers many challenges, that not all employees are ready to embrace. Change in expectations can be disconcerting, but for the flexible and motivated individual, the rewards are worth it. This is not a place to slack off, but personally, I love a good challenge. I know that when I strive to do my best, I am adding value to an organization that is striving to better the community. I feel that I am respected and treated fairly here. Expectations are high, but when an employee steps up and meets those expectations, the recognition of all from executive management down to individual supervisors is there, making it all worth it.

This company has a sense of what should be a corporate level institution, but lacks structure and organization. On my time there I saw that very often employees come and go there is not opportunity of success if you are not allied with you manager of if you show that you are more professional prepared than your superior, they will try to put you down. 
Your opinion does not count. Executive Manager lack professionalism. There is not  an open communication between employees and the different departments.

One thing that I liked was that they manage flexible hours and that was near from where I live.

Free snacks and incentives as long as you meet the numbers.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Micromanaging is all that is important have a fear based leadership, poor communication you never know what worflows are changed, updated or how to access. Directors, call, text, email you several times throughout the day create anxiety.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic culture, human resources literally said providers can do what they want they are the money makers.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Insane amount of emails, advise you to respond promptly or else???

Worst management you could encounter. They will encourage you to get fmla then discourage you from using your fmla. This office is all about numbers. They could care less about there employees will write you up for the smallest things yet other will not get any dispensary actions applied to them. If you aren’t a yes Ma’am type of person stay away from here.
I was with this company for 2 1/2 years, Wish i would of left after the first 6 months.
Not worth your stress and mental state. 
Management team breaks it for this office, coworkers are amazing but once you get to management level most selfish people .


You are not valuable as a person to this company.  They will over work you, without compensation and make you feel like you are incompetent with the training THEY provided. They want robots. They do not care about your mental health or physical health. Patients mean nothing to them. Making them wait way too long for things that could be critical.  No communication, everyone is on a different page. To the point where people will make jokes about it. Favoritism is strong. Unless you are buddies with PM, DO or corporate, you are one man for yourself and they will make sure you do not succeed.
