Peak expects overwhelming amount of work to be done no matter what position you hold. They present themselves in an awesome friendly manner that quickly falls away once you join. Specific verbal agreements that anyone would believe is secure dissolve once you are in place. Managers are placed in between their clinic and administration who is not interested in new ideas or allowing clinics to grow their own efficient personality that drives Peak's own mission goal. They promote from within then don't support transitions. Time off is INCREDIBLY difficult to secure. Some having to wait months, 4-6, to get vacation. Updates in technology have little to no training and NOTHING in person except by internally trained personnel who have as much time with new tech as the people they support. You are expected to log into meetings and trainings, mandatory meetings, during time out of office and with no pay. Breaks are not easily allowed and certainly not supported. While other clinics standards are to close for an hour for lunch, and this is an accepted practice by the public, at Peak many get 30 min. Your other 2 10 min legally mandated breaks seem to not occur. These are easily provided within the 1 hour lunch break. Peak is too worried some sale or service that boosts their revenue might be missed. They are building more clinics are breakneck speed while standard equipment is not in the budget, i.e. a mouse for your computer. The type medicine Peak provides is great but management is horrendous. For the past 4-5 months patients cannot get anyone to answer the phone at their clinic, texts and emails are not answered and patients are left hanging and overwhelmingly frustrated. Instead of the giant expansion focus to support current clinics and improve pay to retain clinic's personnel would be more beneficial. Peak is driving to build an empire that is filled with personnel they treat as slaves. If you don't do what they mandate, i.e. change a day of work or what your job entails you will be told you are free to leave. 99% of employees will not disclose how they see or feel about their position because there is no interest from management and will be made to feel that the individual has a unique perspective that makes them inferior, so they just leave and the turnover is staggering at every level.

I want to start off with saying that this job started off great and had such great potential to be an amazing place. After a change in upper management a year into me starting, it turned into a money grab. It was all about the numbers. Management did not care about the severity or acuity of patient care or if it was even something the providers could handle. As long as those insurance payments kept coming, they did not care if patient care was satisfactory.  From the moment the doors open it was sell, sell, sell, book, book, book. Harassing patients left a right to make sure the schedules were full because we had unattainable goals to achieve.  They train within which is not a bad thing in nature, but when you have people who have no medical knowledge being promoted to medical assistant with 2 days of training... is that even safe? If you have a family, prior obligations, or just want a good life balance this is not the place for you. I had the unique privilege of being able to travel to every clinic OnePeak had open at the time and I met some pretty awesome people but in the end, these issues were company wide and not just a jaded view of one clinic and one manager. I hope the best for this place in the future because the owner is so lovely and she deserves way better. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
I have been here for nearly 4 months and so far, it's amazing. Sure, there are challenges as with any business, but for the most part, you have the tools and support needed to make the job great. I really wanted to join a team that was striving to do something more than just turn a profit, and I feel like I found just that. I'm very happy to be part of a high-functioning team that genuinely wants to make a difference in people's lives. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company has gone through some major leadership transitions over the past few years, and there is a lot of foundational work needs to be done. Some of the people that have been around for a while are burned out or resistant to growth, so pushing things forward can be challenging at times.

Purposeful, rewarding, appreciative and positive

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I work remote so I'm online and at a computer all day. I usually have about 2-4 hours of meetings per day. I can typically get all of my work done during the business day and rarely work past 5 / 5:30.

OnePeak medical didn’t have good management while I was employed. Anything you brought up  was pushed under the carpet and never followed up on.  I witnessed many bad behaviors just go “unnoticed” because they produced numbers and brought in revenue. 
The company is a scam and wants your money and will tell you all the supplements will help and get you to buy their products. 
They have high expectations even though they do not train you and you just have to fend for yourself. Every clinic operates COMPLETELY different and never on the same page so if you see other providers within the company half your labs are gone and none of your notes are ever correct. Multiple times I saw labs/XRAYS/ MRIs any patient information in the wrong charts. Nothing was ever done or fixed. They hire people in third world countries to do the call center that have no medical experience. 
I could go on an on. DO not work here. 

i havent been at a cllinic that is so micromanaged by other employees other than the manager. it is expected that patients can sometimes be rude but there are employees that i cannot believe have been here for as long as they have been. it is aggressive work place with barely any support from management . we cant close the clinic doors until providers are finished with their last patient and we get them checked out. patients are billed for services they never receive and they never hear from the billing team and then make everyone at the clinic look bad. there is no training they just throw you in and expect you to know all one peak policies what they can and cannot take before labs its ridiculous. there is an extremly high turn over rate in every position the only good thing are the rep lunches and that we have 3 days weekend but the 4 days you are here feel like 5

They were an incredible bunch of people to work with; however, work/personal life balance was nearly impossible, most hours are 7am to 7pm. Their Medford location is a beast in itself. It's unlike their other locations that are peaceful. The atmosphere is chaotic, patiences are coming & going from beginning of day to end of day between supplements to appointments along side phones that you're required to pick up. Every morning you're expecting 20-30 voice-mails that are all equally urgent all while being expected to check on patients & prep charts. None stop & often asked to come back from break so you can help. They don't have a healthy balance on job positions so you're highly stressed. The people there though, like family once you build relationships with them. New ownership has taken place since my place of employment so I hope they're working on it. Good luck.

Schedule of 4x10 with 3 consecutive days off.

The inconsistencies, lack of common sense and laziness of everyone will make yourhead spin! The lack of any type of direction, structure, or training. Zero support from leadership/management. An ever-changing schedule. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Extremely unprofessional. Segregated. Chaotic. Very stressful. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Chaos starts as soon as the front doors are opened and doesn't stop until the provider you're being a servant/slave to decides they're done for the day. Your day is anywhere from 10 hours to 12. You get a 30 minute lunch break and you're lucky to get your other breaks during your shift.

Starting at One Peak was an attempt to progress in my professional and personal life. However, I was quickly made aware of a severely toxic workplace culture.

The primary issues stemmed from management, who often displayed clear favoritism and seemingly turned a blind eye to significant problems. I was personally a witness to and received complaints from patients regarding the abusive and toxic way some staff members were treated by their colleagues.

Despite observing or being made aware of these toxic and unprofessional interactions, management appeared to blatantly ignore the situation.

If you value your mental well-being and a professional work environment, I strongly advise you to seek opportunities elsewhere.

I’ve been with the company for about a year and have had a very positive experience overall. The team is supportive, and I feel equipped with the tools and resources needed to be successful. What stands out most is the company’s focus on making a meaningful impact beyond just business outcomes.
There have been some recent leadership and structural changes, so certain processes are still being built or refined, which can occasionally create challenges. However, the overall culture remains collaborative, purposeful, and encouraging.
Working remotely, my days are a balance of meetings and focused work time, and I’m generally able to complete my responsibilities within normal business hours without needing to work late.

Turnover is high, inventory is limited at times , EMR and phone  is web based so they don’t work all the time or correctly, work life balance is slim, caps on pay unless you move up in the company

Everyone pretty much gets along and always willing to help .

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
10-12 hour shifts , lots of procedures, walk in nutrient injections , constant patient tasks on the computer, have to do your own lab results and attach them to chart along with your own fax que ( attach to patient chart) just to name a few
