As a former Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at One Oncology who bought AUS during my time employed, I would advise prospective employees to carefully consider their options. The role and work environment did not align with the expectations set during the hiring process.

Compensation and Bonus Structure
AUS advertised significant bonus potential, but in my experience, there were undisclosed bonus caps in place for the first two years, leaving employees unaware of the limitations. This was frustrating, especially since bonuses were a key factor in my decision to join.

Role and Learning Opportunities
While the company highlighted opportunities for professional development, I found the role to be somewhat limited in scope. The primary responsibility was catheter changes, with minimal exposure to other procedures. The urologists often considered catheter changes beneath their expertise, which resulted in less collaboration and growth opportunities for APPs. The patient volume also skewed heavily toward UTI management, which may not appeal to everyone.

Call and Workload Expectations
The primary call system was another point of concern. You were required to take a 7-day primary call for a minimal stipend, which included the challenge of trying to reach a urologist for emergency overnight calls. This setup felt burdensome and led to frustration among staff.

Turnover and Work Environment
I observed a high turnover rate during my time at AUS, with multiple APPs leaving the company. This high turnover, combined with a challenging work environment, created a sense of instability. The culture at the Mesa office was particularly difficult, with a lack of support and a somewhat negative atmosphere that made it hard to thrive.

Contract and Benefits
I also encountered issues related to company policies on benefits and contracts. While AUS claims that employees are bound by a contract, I found that the actual agreement was limited to an employee handbook, which clarified that it wasn’t a binding contract. This made it difficult to receive owed bonuses or paid time off (PTO), which I felt was an unfair practice.

Conclusion
Overall, my experience at AUS was not as positive as I had hoped. While there are certainly opportunities to gain experience, I believe the company's approach to compensation, work-life balance, and employee support may not align with the expectations of many healthcare professionals. I encourage anyone considering a position at AUS to weigh these factors carefully before making a commitment.

 I worked at OneOncology as a medical coder. While the pay and remote flexibility were positives, the day-to-day experience was extremely stressful. Workloads were consistently overwhelming, with little to no support from management. Communication was poor, questions often went unanswered, and leadership showed a lack of organization and professionalism.

There were no clear processes or SOPs in place, which made completing work more difficult than it needed to be. The culture felt more like being left to “sink or swim” than being part of a supportive team. This environment quickly became draining and anxiety-inducing.

If you are looking for stability, clear expectations, and supportive management, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The disorganization and lack of communication created unnecessary stress that outweighed any benefits of the job.

I did learn a lot but that had to do with my own drive and motivation. Management is absolutely rotten from the very top. I was there for a relatively long time. Management and toxicity quickly became real bad toward the last years of my time there. I had to get out because I was coming in and leaving in tears almost every day. You did not receive a raise unless you asked for it and if you happen to get one, it was nowhere near worth the torture they put you through. And then they would just continue dumping more and more tasks on you without increase in pay They are unorganized at best and management is catty, unhelpful and toxic, like high school, but far worse.

i was a part of the interim staff and i truly enjoyed my time helping their credentialing team. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
i came into the company during a very stressful time as they were getting new software for credentialing! 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fast pace, but they are very team-oriented.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy but if you love credentialing you will enjoy the work!!

Not a good place to work for at all. They tell many lies and never uphold the truth. In Michigan we had sick time on our checks and all of a sudden bam they found a way to remove it. I do not agree with any company wanting to discount the employees. I started working for her all the perks I believed I would get. It was all a lie, the flex schedule, the pay, the bonuses all of was a lie.

Great organization , growing quickly, could use better work life balance. Organization empowers there teams however there are  a lot of meetings that could be better structured and often don’t include all the correct persons to make decisions. Very good benefits with ability to grow professionally.  Compensation plan and bonus structure is great. 

This company only cares about the dollar amount the level of stress and unorganized chaos. The leadership needs training they are all about making money and do not care about their employees even after being told if you are not a part of their buddy system you can forget about career advancement they hire friends in positions before they are even posted.

I’d rather clean toilets than work here. Management doesn’t care about their employees. This company won’t last with current management. I wouldn’t recommend wasting any amount of time there.

Free lunch every day.. off on weekends.

Parking is a hassle and the traffic coming and going it terrible..
