Growth and learning opportunities have been great. I've gotten to improve my skillet and interact with experienced team members regularly.
Local management actively worked with team to build on team-members skills and help the whole team improve on those skill-sets through a team driven learning environment.
Flexible days are managed by each member of the team base on what they have to do that day, interacting where needed and possible.
Team-members very happy to share experience and ask questions about something they didn't know about but another team member was skilled in.
On the days where clients were well away from home were a bit taxing but management is actively working to optimize how locations for jobs are handled.
Learning from new and experienced team members in the field and in training allowed each team member great growth if they actively partook.

Was a great job for a little while, but the pay wasn't all that great at all. Spent most days killing your body for sales representatives that could care less about you while they were making upwards of six figures a year and delivery drivers doing all the hard labor made the bare minimum. If you don't like taking machinery weighing up and down flights of stairs weighing upwards of 1,000lbs for little compensation and driving across 3 states for hours this isn't the job for you. They ended up laying off 40+ of their best workers during COVID-19 meanwhile keeping the sales representatives and building a brand new multimillion dollar facility and 4 brand new $100,000 delivery trucks that weren't needed, but couldn't afford to keep their employees jobs. They just didn't care about the backbones of the company. It was just corporate greed. 

I would highly recommend Perry to anyone looking to build a career. The people are genuinely great to work with. As an ESOP company, there is no single owner or board capturing all the profits—employees share in the company’s success, which makes a real difference.
This would be a 5-star review, but there is an opportunity to better align how success is measured between Sales and Service. At times, differing goals can create friction or unintended judgment between teams. This feedback is offered in the spirit of continuous improvement, not as a detractor from the company’s overall success.


Probably the worst job I ever had.  Training is awful, pay is horrific and I have never been treated so horrible in all my life.  They do NOT care about their customer or employees.  Was excited about working for a employee owned company but terribly disappointed with just about everything about Perry proTech.  Awful place to work!!  Don’t dare complain to management because they will be out to get you.  Have only worked there for a short 6 months and 3 people left while I was there.  If you don’t have to work there- I seriously would advise don’t take the job.

It is a good company to work for. Depending on what environment you work in and who your supervisor is can be enjoyable or a night mare. If you enjoy what you do then you help yourself to compensate for that.  Always be open that you may interview for one position and know that your tasks may change down the road to fit what the company needs.

Management doesn’t want to set you up for success because it costs money.  They want you to make things happen out of thin air.  Pay is poor.  Constantly being asked to do more and more without additional compensation.  
Service manager does not go into the field, he does not offer help other than copying and pasting what is posted in the literature online.  He is not knowledgeable.  He often suggests you reach out to someone else. 

Started off with high hopes… however the lopsided pay scale makes it tough to stay positive.  Employee owned… not employee ran. They have a lot of good people that don’t get to shine cause they are not upper management or in sales… they put several folks on Furlough for the “covid”…120 days…. On day 118 they  let them go…. Yet still building a multi million dollar “new” headquarters!… Corporate Greed at its best!

Company monitors customer computers on networks through their software they sell as part of their toner checking software. They do not inform the customers about the additional information that is reported back to Perry ProTech. They monitor your speed on their vehicles which you have a portion of your pay taken away to cover maintenance costs for service on the vehicle. General Manager of the Service Department is not a very nice person.

The coworkers are amazing for the most part. The job in general is generally enjoyable. Upper management is the biggest downfall. They are very disconnected at the branch level and don't seem to care to understand what each branch needs to be successful in a real life setting. Everything is determined by what works on paper; and what works on paper rarely works as planned in practice. 

I’ve been with PERRY for almost two years. I’ve gotten to witness and experience growth within the organization, the introduction of new programs and training, and great working relationships. The financial and cultural benefits of the ESOP are an added bonus! Highly recommend applying for anyone looking for a company that values its employees and offers a real stake in the business.
