My day always starts with priorities first, such as reports that need to be submitted, payroll, accounts payable and/or receivable, communication with customers, vendors and/or members of the company, such as corporate office officials and/or the Manager, Controller, Vice President of Finance, and other company officials.

I always learn something new in each position, (i.e., at my last position, I learned about a vast majority of products; GRS worked from June-October, I learned more about budgeting & forecasting & overall Assistant Controller fuctions, which is great because it makes me more marketable).

Management varies depending on the position. I typically report to the Controller or Owner(s).

Co-workers are typically very easy to get along with, especially depending on the caliber of employees and if at least most everyone has the same goal: getting the job done.

Each position in the accounting/administrative realm is basically the same, except for the company's routine for that particular position. Accounting software is always very basic. Accounting procedures are typically pretty basic anywhere from payables to job costing to bookkeeping, etc.

The part about the positions that I enjoy are the challenging ones. I like to be at a position where I can use my skills rather than just working with paper.

Since PangeaTwo is a temp agency, it really depends upon which company you get placed with as to whether or not you will have a pleasant experience. I was fortunate to be placed with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. There they are very supportive and encouraging. It was a wonderful experience. However, that being said, what I was told by my recruiter (positions would lead to full time work, etc) were not true. It was a Temp only position that would be finished at the end of February.

Everything started off great!! I was about to work from home when needed and felt I had a good team working with me. However, after only having a few days of training. I made a mistake on some invoices the second time ever doing it by myself and they fired me. No warning, no this is what you did wrong, they just fired me. I liked the people but they had no grace and understand that mistakes happen, especially when someone is new, and just felt that the whole situation was handled badly. 

Great work experience.  I worked in the call center for a major corporation.  Calls awaited us as we logged on the system each morning.  However through that experience I learned that my overall patience level is still basically intact!(lol)..... Average call log per representative 80-100 calls per day with a smile. It was hard sometimes but like I said we had a great group.

I was hired on a contract at one of the contracted companies. Five weeks later the funding of the project was pulled and I was out of work. I feel this should have been known before starting the position. It was a brief time to get much work done, but it seemed all was well one day, then the project was cut the next.

I had a disappointing experience with PangeaTwo. After expressing interest and completing the necessary steps early on, I never heard back regarding any opportunities for over three months. Despite following up, communication was minimal, and there was no clear follow-through. I understand that not every applicant gets placed immediately, but transparency and timely updates go a long way in building trust with job seekers. Unfortunately, that was lacking here.

I enjoyed my time at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. I spent a vast amount of time helping people, and that is something I enjoy doing immensely. The hardest part of the job was knowing I had very little chance of being hired permanently/full time. My coworkers were great to work with.

I enjoyed working for Pangeatwo. The staff is helpful, they communicate, and do their best to keep you on an assignment.  The companies they contract with are professional companies that you’d want to build and grow with. The benefits are wonderful and the tend to listen to any concerns  you may have.

PangeaTwo is very willing and supportive of finding a right fit for a career opportunity. The staff is very helpful, nice and professional. I do recommend this company.

Management was horrible, days are slow, boring, coworkers are hard to get along with. I never really learned anything at this job. Hardest part of the job was waking up in the morning and remembering I had to go to this terrible place of business. The most enjoyable parts of this job was lunch breaks and going home.
