Beware: extremely toxic work environment. Leadership is ineffective and inconsistent, with a culture of constant micromanagement and no real job security. I was deliberately misled during the hiring process to persuade me to accept the position, and the role presented was not what was delivered. Once employed, it became clear that the operations side is poorly managed, disorganized, and lacks transparency. Concerns are dismissed rather than addressed, expectations shift without warning, and employees are closely monitored rather than supported. By the time the full extent of these issues and the inaccuracies shared during recruitment were uncovered, it was too late. I strongly advise anyone considering this employer to independently verify all claims with current employees before accepting an offer.

Personic Health was built from the ground up as a patient centric model, with patient outcomes being the primary driver of success.  The management team have invested heavily in operational systems, including compliance, to ensure an efficient and effective deployment of resources to achieve those patient outcomes, and they seek to improve month over month, with everyones voice being equal in that process. 

Unlike a lot of healthcare practices, Personic truly has built a collaborative, supportive and rewarding environment where employees are valued as professionals and individuals.  

The best part of my job is interacting with a diverse group of individuals who are focused around the singular goal of achieving and exceeding patient expectations/outcomes.  

Ineffective management practices have led to job insecurity, compounded by long driving distances caused by schedulers in the Philippines who are unfamiliar with the local area and traffic conditions. Despite bringing these scheduling challenges to the attention of clinical managers, no action was taken. My employment was terminated based on unfounded accusations from the scheduler, without any prior warning or documentation from the clinical manager. During weekly meetings, the clinical manager praised my performance and productivity. It appears that management entices employees with promises of work, only to overburden them and terminate their positions unjustly if they cannot be manipulated or if they voice concerns.

Overall love my job! There is more driving than I originally anticipated and have less autonomy on patient census than I would like. Compensation is a little low for the type of work we’re doing as APPs, but still great compared to being in a wound clinic or primary care clinic. Some management positions need to be looked at. I think the call center and support staff are great, however it is difficult getting patients scheduled and correct information/ medical workflow when the majority of them have heavy accents (therefore patients think they are telemarketers and hang up frequently) and have no medical office background (especially within the U.S. and how our healthcare system/insurance works). 

Initially, I was skeptical about work-from-home setups hindering teamwork, but Personic has completely shifted my perspective. The company fosters a culture of collaboration and inclusivity, ensuring every team member is heard, especially by management. The tools provided empower me to serve our patients and providers effectively and with confidence. As a newcomer to the start-up world, I've learned that change is a constant here, which might be challenging for those who prefer stability. Nevertheless, the support I've received has been tremendous in this dynamic environment. Personic is making significant strides in healthcare, and I'm thrilled to be part of this journey!

Those co-workers who helped me to easily catch up things in the company, they are the best! I never felt pressured since I started working here. Everyone is a team player! There is growth in this company. I am always motivated because I sense the belongingness in this company. The management and everyone in the team are collaborating just to give the best outcome of services. This company is a visionary and goal-oriented. They always make sure to go with what is essential and excellent when it comes to patient care. The company is progressing and they don't leave their employees in that progress; rather they also bring everyone to where the company is going!

Joining the Personic Health team has been the greatest experience in my professional career. The work that is being done is really making a difference in the lives of other people from patients, healthcare professionals that we work with and also internally. Working at Personic Health is different than anything I have experienced anywhere else. I have worked for VERY large health care corporations as well as small start-up companies. Personic health truly does offer an environment that promotes and welcomes the ideas and expertise of its staff without any resistance due to ego. It is a company that balances placing the patient first with ethically running a health care business. Personic Health is a fast-paced environment filled with the best in the industry. No company is perfect and there are always areas that can improve, but Personic Health really is a great place to work. 

I’ve worked here for a month and it progressively gets worse. The management knows the crew is overworked and overwhelmed but does nothing to help or change. The company demanded us to use our personal phones and belongings to check patients in without compensation. The company regularly demands extended hours with no acknowledgment or gratitude or willingness to adjust compensation. I continually feel taken advantage of during my shift and when I go home I dread coming back. It’s a shame that people have to rely on a company that refuses to be accountable and responsible for their actions.
