Pharmalogics-Recruiting

This is a great place to gain experience but no chance for advancement for years and maybe even never. Feels like there is a set group of people that are given chances to advance. If you arent a recruiter, PM, or PS then you are forgotten about. Salary is decent but needs to be more like 60K. Quarterly bonus is so difficult to get and should be monthly so people had a better chance to get it and be happier. Benefits are decent with Cigna if it’s just you on the plan but not crazy good. Good security is low. High turnover and business is based on needs from clients. If a major client takes a pause or ends contract, people get laid off or furloughed. Good company to build relationships.

Managers are all young and pretty much fake. Lots of favoritism as some people are friends outside of work but managers gossip about their whole team for the most part.

● Overall
If you’re into strictly cold calling and harassing people for a job then this company is for you. There’s no ATS or CRM system, you don’t source, you don’t deal with warm candidates.. Pick wisely as turnover is high, also no people of color in senior/high level positions besides one.

Their recruiting model is great and unique in the space so they are able to develop business with great companies in the pharmaceutical space which makes it easier to talk to top talent. 

If you come in, work hard and hit your numbers and engage with the company, you will move up quickly and be paid well. Culture was young and awesome. 

Recruiting isn't for everyone, but if you want to give it a shot or know it's where you want to go, Pharmalogics is a great place to work.

Working at a high level of professionalism with an outstanding staff makes my jod a wonderful experience. Being able in representing my company in connecting with future clients has been a pleasure in providing the best we have to offer.

Being a recruiter here entails only being aggressive on the phone all day long. After recruiting elsewhere, I learned to source for candidates, conduct interviews, use various tracking systems, etc. At Pharmalogics, the skill base of recruiters is very limiting. Also, the management chooses their favorites; there's a "cliquish" feel to the work environment.

The company has an excellent training program; however, the way to measure success is subjective. The role is based on number of candidates you present; however, it does not take into account some roles are more difficult than others, and you are more rewarded for having easier tasks because it boosts your submittal volume.

It was as overall a good experience. I would hope that the boys club that once existed is no longer a factor when considering who to promote. Despite this, I did really enjoy the culture and extracurricular activities.

Amazing leadership and care for the staff and their personal and professional growth. Would have stayed for much longer if circumstances would have allowed. Highly recommend if you’re looking if a great and super engaging work environment with the flexibility of working fully remote! 

they dont care ab their employees, unless you hit their numbers but the base pay wasn't awful and it was fully remote which was nice - not sure how it is after Epic Staffing acquired 

Fairly easy job, laid back, lots of cold calling be prepared to be on the phone majority of the day lots of perks with the company but very little room for growth and advancement
