If you are looking for a company that will support you and make you feel somewhat appreciated, don't work here. They are a cut throat company with no regards to their employees or their feelings. If you want to have some type of family life while working for this company, think again because it's not going to happen. They expect their medical assistants to do everything within 8 hours and no overtime and if you do get overtime, they get on you about it because it is all about the bottom dollar with them.It's all RUSH RUSH RUSH and do this now so you can move onto the next task. You remain overwhelmed and by the end of the day all you want to do sleep because of how this company runs you into the ground. They are greedy and will do anything and everything they can to kill you in the process of making their money. The MA's have to triage, prep charts, return phone calls, do PA's, scan, handle management reports, clean, do insurance verification's, everything and anything they can force you to do so management doesn't have to and be screamed at because of a stupid phone system. Also, they run you by scheduling an insane amount of patients. The scheduling department sends emails all day long without obtaining the needed information for the MA to address it. Instead it turns into the MA calling the patient to get all of the information and then having to check with the provider and then call the patient back. All of that could be avoided if the needed information was obtained with the first phone call.
  Next, the doctors they hire are greedy and have no bed side manner at all. So many patients have left screaming and crying. Lets not mention how multiple patients who have had surgical procedures had to go to a wound clinic due to the incision not healing and/or the procedure itself getting infected. I am not saying every doctor but most of them think that they are above you and will treat you as if you are stupid and will disrespect you, but you cannot say anything because you are afraid of loosing your job or going against a doctor. 
  Moving on, the company will work you to the ground. They say you are entitled to an hour lunch break and two paid 15 minute breaks, which never happens because of how they schedule patients. Its triple booked with a format that doesn't provide adequate patient care... how can you see 5 patients at 8AM? The doctor can only be in one room at a time, so then they get behind and patients start yelling. And who are they yelling at... you!! Like it's your fault that corporate schedules patients this way and that you made them wait, when in all reality you were just trying to follow the company's policy and procedures.This company has the highest turn over rate. Within 6 months, they lost 10 employees including doctors because of how corrupt this company is. They go against referenced guidelines because they feel they can do whatever they want. The managers will order supplies but because the company does not pay the invoices they will remain on a " credit hold" with the suppliers, you will not get your supplies and have to work with what you have and then get in trouble when you don't have something you need. How is that your fault... the company needs to pay their bills.
  Now, lets talk about management, staff, and HR. They will begin with management supports you and will lead you in the right direction. It's all a lie. If you get sick, or have a worker's comp claim or FMLA, be prepared to loose your job. They will intimidate you and back you into a corner. The staff only looks out or themselves and there is no helping each other. Its all " I did this now you have to do that" There isn't any team work, more like every person for themselves.  They have their practice managers who do nothing but sit behind a desk all day and bark orders and forward emails that come down from corporate and the only time they do something is when the "higher up's" come around so it looks like they are working. The practice managers do not train when something new arises. It read this email and sign that you have read the email and now do what it says. If you ever have any questions, the answer is always I don't know or that's how we were told to do it. The practice managers come in whenever they feel like it and leave whenever they want to because they were made salary.  It's sad when you have a MA train your practice manager because the regional manager doesn't have time to do it and then when they hire new employees, the manager doesn't even train them, they have the other medical assistants do it because the manager does not do "MA" work. Why hire a manager who feels above everyone else? I always thought that as a manager they should know how to do everything within the office but that's not the case with this company. You will hear " that's not my job" or "they don't pay me enough to do that" Management has not developed any type of training schedule. Its so unorganized. You are given 2-3 days of training and are expected to know every part of the office and when you don't it's your fault. Management will say that they are going to train you but then they have you go to another office because they are always short staffed and you will never be fully trained. They cannot keep staff because people either quit once they realize how ridiculous the company is or they get fired because they aren't  working how the company wants them to... news flash... if people aren't trained, how do you expect them to work effectively. The practice managers they have their now are a joke! And the regional manager....who one is never around and two...thinks hes above everyone else with his attitude and the way he speaks to you, never answers your phone call or text but says to always go to him with any problems and is two faced along with the chief medical officer or whatever her title is. She says that she will protect you and have your back but in all reality she could care less about you and is all about herself just like the company. HR will do anything and everything in their power to fire you. The VP of in HR is horrible!!! Her attitude and the way she speaks, gives off the impression that she is entitled and better then everyone else. Well honey, we all put our pants on the same way and nobody is above anyone else. She talks to you as if you have no education and insults your every word. 
  Last but not least, lets talk about the way they treat their patients. They have their "own lab" that they want all of the urine specimens sent to with no regard if the lab is in network with the patients insurance. So if it's out of network,  the patient ends up with a huge bill.  How is that even correct? It's not but with the company it's all about the bottom dollar. Also, they do a swab, that they don't tell you optional and you can refuse it. The swab is not medically necessary and insurance companies don't pay for it so the patient ends up huge bill and the billing department says that they can set up a payment plan. As a patient, if you try and call the office, be prepared to never get in touch with someone and by some slim chance if you do, be prepared to never get a call back. The staff will sit there and reject a patients phone call because they are lazy and don't want to deal with it.  Yes, they do offer health insurance but you are going to pay an insane amount for it and the plan is horrible. Every year that I had worked there, the premiums increased and more came out of my check. They don't do employee reviews on time. I had brought mine up to my manager and even 4 months after my "anniversary" date, my review still wasn't done. If management and HR and everyone higher up cannot get their act together, how in the world do they expect their employees to? They truly do not lead by example in this company. 
At the end of the day, it is up to you if you want to apply to this company or not but take it from someone who has worked there for over 4 years and save yourself the stress, tears and upset and apply somewhere else. I will not drop names in this review, even though I could and reveal every detail on how corrupt this company is but I won't. Those are years of my life wasted with this company that I won't get back, but because I am loyal and listened to them say " it will get better" I stayed with them until I couldn't anymore and left. As someone who worked within the clinic, management doesn't care about their employees who see and hear these patients on a daily basis. All corporate cares about are their own salaries and sitting behind their big fancy desks and creating stupid policies with no regard to how it's going to effect the individual who has to implement that policy or change.

Ineffective upper management, no proper training, everything is done on the fly. When staff speaks up, they are told not to question and just say yes to upper management (outside of the clinic). The place is kept clean, and the staff are mostly nice to patients. It’s so hard to even get maintenance done though. Everything is done halfway or they conveniently can’t figure it out. The doors are hardly wide enough to be ADA compliant, the core structure of the place wasn’t build for surgery or a clinic setting. Staff can’t even get their own bathroom, nor is there a safe place to keep their belongings. Air conditioning keeps going out, toilets clogging, and supplies requested but never received. The building didn’t even provide wet/dry rugs in front of the doors. 

They expect 1 medical assistant to not only see 25-30 patients a day, but for them to prepare charts for the next day, complete prior authorizations, answer all clinical phone calls, process pharmacy requests from the fax machine, records requests, perform procedures with the doctor, sterilize equipment, stock supplies, AND keep their overtime very limited.  Upper management gives zero cares about this, corporate greed has definitely taken over. 

This place can’t even keep temps long enough to fill a short term contract. They are quick to fire people for asking questions. There’s such a high turn over with staff that it’s almost disgusting. The corporate staff turn over at a very high rate as well. One day a person works there, and the next day they are gone. 

The idea of scanning everything in, and emailing it to corporate is quite ridiculous, especially when half of the staff is consistently turning over. If you have an issue with billing, you better be sure to email the right billing email address. If you need to file for FMLA, you better make sure HR handles it correctly. Especially when you come back from FMLA, you won’t get your accommodations for restrictions outlined by your doctor. 

FORGET GOING TO YOUR IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR. You 100% cannot trust them, you will not get support, they are all back stabbing and trying to save themselves. They all know and don’t care that things are like this. They expect the clinic staff to just deal with it, and that’s the way it is.

A typical work day would consist of chaos and without structure. The rules change day to day and person to person. There is a lot of favoritism and if you're not kissing a managers behind you will become a target. There is no flexibility and managers love making write ups so they can soon fire anyone they can. I started to wonder if write ups were a monthly quota for them. Management is unprofessional and unstable, and offer no help to the clinic, even when the clinics are way under staffed and drowning with work. Managers at the end of the day are no real use to the clinic, only looking busy doing side email work which is really irrelevant during the busiest hours of clinic, it would seem.  Most managers are inexperienced and extremely unprofessional, to say the least. The company in general cares about making profit, not patient care. Patients complain all day and there were never any adjustments; patients were leaving the practice by the boat loads. The hardest part about the job is trying to do your job, especially considering that the company obviously does not believe in patient care. There was no time for lunch even though you are forced to work, on or off the clock for lunch, to even keep up with the work. HR and managerial staff make a ton of promises that no one ever keeps and no one ever seems to know what is going on, day to day. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Don’t work here. Do NOT work here. Need me to tell you again? Some doctors are great and respectful of staff and patients, they genuinely want to help patients and staff under them are willing to help as well. Other doctors/staff are incredibly lazy and not willing to do work, and just push it to other people they know are more responsible. Anybody who works outside an individual clinic has no leadership, no job ethic, and little to no experience running a medical company. Clinic staff is pigeonholed in their abilities and there is no growth opportunity. You are banned from offering constructive criticism because it’ll hurt other peoples’ feelings who have no idea what they’re doing anyway.  Corporate and offshore departments constantly make mistakes with patients’ accounts, medical histories, appointments, insurance information, and billing - and the clinic staff are the ones who are ultimately responsible for the mistakes of others, who never see or interact with patients face to face.  HR does nothing.  Corporate officers and upper management is only interested in patting each other on the back and not interested in actually helping patients. They’re just in it for the money.  My review gets 1 star because they offer some health benefits, and perhaps some managers are willing to look out for the well-being of staff and patients.  Other higher-ups... not at all.

This is the worst place ever! Stay away from the Insurance and Verification Team. Management is horrible. The Manager does a horrible job in showing you the "Basics" about your job but throws you out on the floor and expect you to ask questions to 2 of the rudest unprofessional"Team Leads" I've ever worked with to figure out the training he didn't do. Team Leads were very rude and unprofessional. If you ask them a question(as you were told to do) They have an attitude and act as if you're bothering them. Everything the Manager said during the interview was all a lie. He did everything he said he wouldn't and vice versa. The micro managing is terrible. Very unprofessional,stressful , tacky environment. The work load is very unorganized and all over the place. No one is on the same page. You are not given the proper training (well I wasn't personally) by the Manger but he expects you to ask questions or figure it out and do the best you can. Then out of no where BOOM your contract is ended- because you didn't meet your "metrics" what a joke. Stay far away from this Dept. Nothing but alot of unprofessional, miserable over worked people. Lots of favoritism, gossiping and mess,  and not to mention the Unnessary "Rework".  The best part of the day is when you clock out for the day!

I’ve been here for +4years, each year gets worse and worse. New management in Texas is a JOKE! Having old employees training new employees that are friends and family of the new management! After all that, FIRE the long term employees and replace them with the new family/friend employees! Friends and family of the new management have no medical backgrounds. New management ask questions daily on how to do things since everyone in the company is NEW. Only a handful of staff in Texas have been here 2+ years, HUGE TURNOVER!! Doctors, nurse practitioners and staff do not stay long due to upper management. New management only hires friends and family! Once I spoke up about a new manager that is a friend of the new management in Texas and management told me I was a liar and never heard in all years knowing the manager that they were never that way with staff. Everyone loves he/she and got along with he/she and we need more managers like he/she. If you’re not friends or family of the new management your CONCERNS DOES NOT MATTER! You find things out about your clinic or other clinics with the group BEFORE it happens from medical reps. Upper management is unorganized, you always get mixed information. TERRIBLE PLACE TO WORK, THIS EMPLOYER DOES NOT CARE FOR LONGTERM STAFF! THEY NEVER SHOW APPRECIATION FOR STAFF AS WELL!

The company is very fractured in terms of its endeavors, sometimes you question which company you're actually working for. They pride themselves on focusing more on the drive to work and learn rather than background and education, which can translate into unqualified/incompetent people working for the company but can provide opportunities for those who really want to grow. Huge turn over throughout all levels off the company because of resistance to hire beyond a skeleton staff. Money is the deciding factor in almost every decision and practicality is put on the back burner. 

Management does try to be transparent and receptive but has a problem following through with concerns and requests. 

Benefits are good and they adhere to strict no overtime dynamic, so if you're hourly expect to work around 40 hours unless circumstances call for more, which is rarely and depends on the department.  

The people usually are friendly and generally get the job done to best of their ability.

The contribution of my coworkers, experts in their fields, and genuinely compassionate, plays a crucial role in this positive atmosphere. This supportive and knowledgeable team dynamic is a major strength, though maintaining it, especially during busy or high-pressure periods, demands continuous effort and adaptability from everyone involved. The organization equips us with essential tools for success, coupled with the necessary motivation and support, enabling efficient and effective use of these resources. Working in an environment that consistently aims for improvement and encourages meaningful contributions from each team member is highly motivating and fulfilling.

Let me start of by saying, I hate working here and I am miserable. The only good part are my  co workers THAT IS IT. The work flo is so heavy and they expect you do everything by yourself and keep adding tasks for you to do, its overwhelming. Management is horrible they do not care about staff on how they feel or anything or even try to help. This has been the most stressful job i have ever worked for, and trust me IM LEAVIING. High up people only care about themselves and do nothing to help the little people that makes everything move. I think this company is not going to last to many squeaky things going on here. Don't even get me started on the providers, they think they are so entitled because they have extra letters with their names. They think they can do,say and treat people how ever they want and that is not fair. Don't get me wrong not all providers but most are and that just adds to the frustration... please dont work here
