I appreciate the opportunity to have worked for this company. It was good to gain some experience but it definitely can be unnecessaraily stressful. On one hand it seems pretty laid back but on the other hand it seems a little like reps are micromanaged. As a rep with this company you will work hard, very very very hard to make a somewhat decent pay wage. The base is low and you must sale a lot of products during the right season to even pay your bills. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates and individuals with little financial obligations. Poly is the land of "reimbursements". Just about every approved expense must come out of your pocket first and then you file an expense report once a month before you are paid back. You get paid only once a month on the 30th and you get an expense check once a month on the 15th. There is no way to track your sales progress until the end of the following month so 30th of the month the pay check is a surprise. Over all the co-worker and managers are nice people.

Promoted our Pharmaceuticals, Consulted with Physicians, Pharmacies and Staff regarding each product we sold. Maintained Relationships and Serviced Accounts. Presented Product knowledge and provided Features and Benefits of each.

I enjoyed building relationships, traveling and Marketing various Products.

Once trained you are very autonomous.

Not willing to be 100% remote for office personnel

Very open and transparent across all levels

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Varies daily...having to deal with millenials and X~Gens

My nursing job at Family Medical was great.  We started at 8:00 and left when we were done with all our patients.   I learned to  be a multi tasker and can do anything.  Staying busy is a must with any job  and helping others to get all done.  Everyone got along and always helped each other,  It is always fun to learn didn't things and take part.

Poly was a great place for someone that is wanting to get into the industry.  The only set back is low base, but you do get monthly commissions.  The management is pretty laid back and there is not a lot of stress.  Just increase your numbers and you will be fine.  But you do have to work!

This place has the worst pharmaceutical sales pay structure. Their management and hr is ridiculous... If this is your only opportunity to get in pharma, I would still suggest getting a different sales job. 

Manager is very kind and easy to work with. However, the company was sold to a foreign entity and the work load doubled. There was little to no understanding of that.

Love the Pharmaceutical Industry since I have been in it for over 12 years. My professional experiences and marketing background have proven to be a well suited match for this industry.

I learned about being in outside sales, especially just graduating from college. I learned how to organize, manage my time, and work a big territory along with growing and learning a new industry.

Its a good company to start with if you're just getting into pharmaceutical sales.  Had about 14 + products in my bag at one time.  Call on many different specialties.
