What is the best part of working at the company?
Paid well for an RN. Generally home by early afternoon but then you are starting paperwork

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Constant schedule changes that takes place either right before the day starts or even after. Manager leaves multiple messages and texts about same topic to explain why something is to b done and why. Ur given no time to manage or check on a person before 3 people ask u about it and all want it done now and in a particular way giving u constant anxiety and making u feel like u can’t b trusted to perform these tasks. You end up feeling like you're dumb

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment would be good if you were left alone to do your job. You are made to feel like an inept child. It is unfortunate because most of the people get along well and everyone generally pulls their own weight. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Everyday is different, different facility or home. Problem is u can’t plan any days because your schedule will b added to and recent changes r making this unbearable. Dropping what you r doing because an HHA feels someone is more tired than usual. It’s ridiculous and we will likely not get credit for it

This is my own experience but I like to put this out there to future job seekers. I felt as if I was bamboozled from the start. I had Microsoft team interviews with hiring managers and from everything they said the company sounded amazing. I never got to see the building, the space I’d be working in or meet the team prior to the first day of working. I emphasis that point because if I had went through all of those things prior to being hired I would have turned the job done. From day 1 it was disorganized, building was dirty, the first couple days was literally me on my phone all day because I had nothing to do because I still wasn’t in the system. My office was trashed from the previous employee I’m guessing, so I cleaned it up myself. The team itself was very unprofessional and borderline toxic. I mean employees arguing and calling each other names. Just crazy. Then there was no real training. I mean not even a video or anything. Of course everyone won’t have the same experience but just looking at how much turnover this company has you can probably see why. I don’t suggest leaving your job for this place. Finding something else. 

I was not paid out for my resignation.  I discussed with HR mgmt. that I gave a notice because I felt it was the professional thing to do and I needed to be paid for my time and also needed health insurance.  I did not receive a response to my discussion.

I was told prior to interviewing for the position "you will be done with your visits every day by noon and after that you can go home and do your charting from home."  After working there 6 months I only had one week that I was able to do that.  I discussed with my manager that I was counting on working at home, as I had been told, and counting on saving after school care costs of $300 a month, however nothing changed and I still worked in the office every day until 430.

Purpose was a great company to work for before they were bought out by a corporation. Now the leadership is toxic and unfair. Main focus is MONEY. This company has turned its back on focusing on patient care and only cares about how much money they can turn over. The leadership is horrible. Roles are created without ever being offered to more better suited individuals. Confusion on who reports to who. A LOT OF MANAGERS for absolutely no reason. The management turn over is extremely HIGH. Please, before you apply to work with PurposeCare request to speak with employees who have been with the company for more than a year.

Management: The company has the money and they do not want to give it to you.
I was told that milage was included for traveling to client's homes and errand running, they were not going to pay me until I argued the point. 
I was shorted overtime then it added to the next paycheck as regular pay.
They idea of training you as a HHA is giving you a test and then giving you the answers.
You can not get ahold of anyone; its always leave a message and we might call back.

The hardest part of my job: leaving my client, I liked caring for him

The most enjoyable part of the job: actually being with the client, we would play boardgames, watch tv, have lunch together. I got the know his family.

The pay was decent and they offered some ancillary benefits

Staffing was relentless. It was challenging to find employees with skills and work ethic

Toxic.  The leadership and staff are all trying to one up each other.  It was always stressful and you never knew who was plotting to make themselves look good.

Very stressful.  Constant call-ins that needed to be restaffed.

Do not work for this company, they like to hire and fire. Hostile working environment and discrimination.

Poor training on the job they are very discrimative

Very stressful and high volume

The job was very easy , loved all my residents, management is well and communication is fine until your check is shortened. You get the run around of “we’re working on it” “everyone’s check was short”. Until you eventually get ahold of HR and they tell you that even though your paystubs states “employer withheld $400” they will claim they don’t see that mistake on their end and will fail to pay you. So beware of that!

Profits over people and patients.
Toxic culture focused around growth and revenue with no care for staff or patients.
Coworkers are great, leadership is not.
Benefits are awful. Health insurance for a family with a high deductible plan is $900.00 a month from the employee.
CEO doubles down on drive for growth and revenue when confronted with concerns about the culture.

Upper management disconnected from day to day activities. Little to no concern for client care. Priorities are centered around profits. No support from management. Multiple pointless meetings every week. Multiple systems issues that hinder ability to complete tasks. Rules only apply to some. Manager will ignore you until they need something.
