The most stressful part of working at RSi is the fast-paced, high-performance environment, but in a way that ultimately pushes you to grow. Expectations are high, and there’s a strong focus on accountability, efficiency, and delivering results for clients. That can feel intense at times, especially when managing multiple priorities or tight timelines.
That said, this environment is also what makes RSi such a rewarding place to work. The challenges encourage you to think critically, improve your processes, and continuously develop your skills. A typical day is fast-paced and engaging, with a good mix of collaboration and independent work. My day usually involves managing priorities, connecting with team members, and working toward both individual and team goals. There’s a strong focus on communication, so there are regular check-ins and opportunities to stay aligned.

Because the company is growing, no two days are exactly the same, which keeps things interesting and allows for continuous learning and development.

During my time at this company, I've had some ups and downs, but getting anything out of management feels like pulling teeth. Ever since they got bought out last year, things have gone downhill fast. We used to get a sweet deal where the company would cover either a Massage Envy or gym membership, which was a huge perk in my book because not many places offer that. Now, they say they "can't afford" to keep it up for everyone. Their health benefits are just awful now. The insurance used to be pricey but at least okay; now it's even more expensive and covers next to nothing unless you're willing to pay through the nose. And don't get me started on the retirement plan—they've switched it up to where you put money into stocks or something. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but it seems like a way for them to save money rather than help us save for retirement. They don't come out and say you can't talk about your salary, but management definitely doesn't want you to. HR is a joke—they always take the company's side and blame the employee. Training is a mess, too. Newbies are thrown into the deep end with meaningless tasks and sometimes the trainer has back-to-back meetings and can't attend to the trainee, which leaves them clueless about the job. Forget about bonuses; they toss a few bucks around at Christmas, but even if your location is killing it, you get nothing but a pat on the back or maybe leaving early. Overall, the job's not the worst, but they seriously need to fix their act when it comes to management and training.

I am so proud to be part of this amazing company. One thing that I noticed right away when I began was how inclusive the company is.  Everyone brings different things to the table and our ideas are allowed to be shared.  Those that had been here for a while were very helpful , especially in the beginning,  to willingly share their knowledge of the job.  I have been able to learn so many things just by listening to others ideas and tips on how they do things that makes their day to day easier.  Management has always been very supportive and get right in there and help when needed. They work really hard to provide you with tools  such as manuals to help you be able to be independent as well.  Things can get busy at times and there are definitely times that you are challenged to think outside the box. Communication is a plus here with weekly/monthly updates on your personal goals, facility goals, and company news. Co-workers and Managers all work together when time off is needed to cover and still keep the work completed. It feels nice to not have to worry about work when you are off and to come back and not be behind. The company has truly taken off with growth and I am very excited about the opportunity this will bring. Looking forward to many more years with this company!

Staff and colleagues are very professional and helpful. There were some structural issues that made the onboarding to my team difficult but there were always colleagues that would do the best to their ability

the nature of the job is difficult.  Contacting patients about their medically incurred debts is not fun or rewarding and highlights a broken healthcare system

The company values candid conversation and transparency. They do their best to maintain morale despite the nature of the job

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
the day began at 10am, usually taking inbound calls from patients to pay or settle medical bills, from 11am calls would be received from patients in the pacific time zone and these patients are generally more rude and combative. There are two 15-minute breaks and a 1 hour break. Day ends at 7pm. Once training is complete and you adhere to their KPIs of calls handled, time on call, payments taken, you will be sent to work from home. The systems for measuring number of calls and time spent on call are skewed. The people who met these KPIs did so unscrupulously

.The benefit for job-seekers is that they are willing to hire anyone off the street- that is a direct quote from a director.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Receivable Solutions knowingly place incompetent and ill- trained staff on the phones to assist customers. This causes stress for the employees as well as the customers they are tasked to assist. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment is toxic and not conducive for a productive and long sustained employment. The upper management is aware the several directors intentionally create hazardous conditions that staff is expected to navigate but refuse to correct this long term problem. I would only advise someone to work at Receivable Solutions as a last resort and to get out as soon as possible.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I worked there for over 5 years.  I held multiple positions. Each position was different but most people start off as a rep taking phone calls from customers regarding their medical bills.

The job itself is good, I love what I did there. But when it comes to management, they need a reality check. There is no work/life balance. We barely earn PTO yet management is always out on PTO, several times a month for several days. They are hardly ever available, there are no incentives, very poor morale. God forbid you need a day for yourself, or life happens. They don't care about you, they care about coverage which is really not necessary. Especially on the weekends. Training is unclear and the leads are a joke. Management and leads work from home so they aren't even on site doing the work. They don't bother reading your notes and ignore whatever you tell them and expect you to complete unnecessary work. Honestly if you like to get over worked, underpaid,  ignored and used then this job is for you. Make sure you don't have a life, you don't ever get sick and nothing ever happens like traffic, accidents or your car gets a flat because all you would get asked is are you coming to work or do I need to find coverage. I had COVID and was asked if I was coming in to work.

RSi has been the best company I’ve ever worked for. The level of support from leadership and colleagues is unmatched—there’s always someone willing to help, collaborate, and ensure you have what you need to succeed.

The culture is incredibly positive and inclusive, making it easy to feel valued and motivated every day. Leadership truly invests in its employees, both professionally and personally, which makes a huge difference.

What stands out the most is the work-life balance. The company genuinely respects employees’ time and understands the importance of balancing work with personal life, which is rare to find.

Overall, it’s an organization that not only drives results but also prioritizes its people, and I feel fortunate to be part of it.

I would not consider this stressful, more so something that gives you a drive to do more. We are very motivated in meeting KPI's and giving our clients results, so we focus on doing so even if it is hard sometimes.

Supportive and inclusive environment

EVERYONE has BIG EGOS. Invicta is just like the companies they claim to be different from, the pay is low, not flexible at all. Not idea for anyone with children. VP and HR are jokes. They don’t do the job but complain how you do it and won’t take your advice on how to fix it. Team lead is a joke micro manges you ALL DAY, but works remote and can do as they please. Health insurance is expensive, and Invicta stopped paying the premium thinking no one would notice. No wiggle room for anything, not a very welcoming environment once your actually hired in. You deal with a lot of stuff for LOW pay, and no reward. They don’t like you asking too many questions. Don’t expect to take a lot of days off THEY DONT HAVE COVERAGE for you to do so. Overall, THEY NEED A REALITY CHECK. LEADERS NEED LEADERSHIP TRAINING. Better pay, mental health days, MORE FLEXIBILITY is needed. HR promotes flexibility but in REALITY coverage consultants don’t have that flexibility. They let hospital staff treat you anyway to keep a good relationship.

What is the best part of working at the company?
There is a great work life balance, but the expectation is if I need an hour off today, I can flex the time the same week.  It's very helpful to go to doctors or run errands and still not have to use PTO or wellness time. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
These jobs are not the type where you can come in and have a rough day and not really work.  We are busy we have patients to screen and help, and it doesn't end.  At the same time, I love that, my 8 hours a day go by like 2 hours.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
In my position the work environment is onsite at a hospital. It is busy, it is hectic, but it keeps the team strong together.   When you learn about the culture that is there to build you as a person and as a team, it is great.  The company builds you and all team members up to be better people and grow within the company.

Clock in, receive my census to screen, review and respond to emails.  Screen patients, and complete the applications for the programs they qualify for.
