Management is abysmal. Most of them migrated from Community First Medical Center and it is no surprise that this hospital is almost just as bad. Cronyism for job advancement, lateral transfers, and Daisy Awards. The favorites are not great nurses but act like it and contribute to a culture of disrespect. High turnover, poor retention. Nurses need more support and education.  Management controls committees and Shared Governance. There is resistance to much needed change. 

They expect you to take care of 30 patients on your own. You will be the only PCT on the floor when it should be at least 3 PCT's like it used to be and expect you to be running their errands for them like pick up blood, transport patients to their car when they get discharged,( there are no transporters anymore), sit for patients etc. getting pulled into different directions. On top of that no teamwork from bossy & lazy nurses calling you for the most menial tasks that they can do themselves. If I am in room changing a patient , don't come look for me just to change another patient's bed sheets when you can do it yourself, yet when I ask for help it is a whole drama. 

the unit i work with is somewhat ok. I work night shift btw. I like all my coworkers. Willing to help and assist you. but the staffing issue is worse, i guess its everywhere. All the regular staff left the hospital (nurses and PCTs) and management isn't very active in filling the gaps. Since i got hired in 2021, our nurse:pt ratio is like 4-6 and no PCTs 95%.OF.THE.TIME. It is a heavy floor. Even the charge nurses gets patients sometimes due to short staffing. My manager is supportive but what can s/he do with the staffing. I think its the higher ups, not sure.

For me. It was conveniently located. My positions were very flexible fair and managers mostly understanding of family and accommodating to genuine family and personal issues. In general a great sense of community throughout the hospital. Associates in general friendly helpful and professional. 

Management is terrible at the top and ruins the rest! Nurses are not respected by management and understaffed  as well as under paid. The turnover is constant and I have seen senior nurses treated terrible despite their loyalty to the company. Most new graduates come and go within a year. 

At Resurrection you’re expected to work hard and get your job done but the environment was mostly friendly and most people tended to work together to achieve our hospital’s mission.

Great job when looking to retire soon. If you’re looking for consistent learning experiences this is not the place. Good working culture but can feel like it is a sorority at times. 

Expect to not make a lot if you work here. My manager did not accommodate my time off requests and the work environment did not feel inclusive to people of different races. 

I truly detest this place. No communication, incompetent management, VERY overworked housekeeping staff because of frequent call offs, and the pay is bad.

Limited support from upper leadership. Staff and co-workers made it enjoyable. Very hard to get time off. Management did not listen to floor concerns.
