It wasn't a congenial culture. Hostile unprofessional coworkers tolerated by management despite hostile manner and communication. She was the type who'd tell you, there's something wrong with you for voting president Trump. She picks and critique the IT Director and anyone she picks in front of everybody without shame. 

Female IT Director has no prior management skills, nor long enough IT experience to direct wisely, she does not respect your privacy, demands Dr's note when going to any medical appointments even when you want to protect your privacy and this is not lawful when I inquired the labor industrial department. She only does it to those she choose to do it, not to all. And she's the only one doing it. She gives very poor IT directions due to lack of knowledge and experience becomes a battle for her to understand when you are right.

No break room, only two restroom and requires keys to get in, HR highly favors unfair direct managers (connected with higher executives) over subordinates, only 9 days of PTO a year.
The work space is very small and the carpeting is more than 20 year old when we are in the building we experience allergies sneezing, watery eyes, runny nose, respiratory issues.

No vision benefits, the medical benefit was not good because the physicians were from RMC and they didn't give very good care e.g. I was 15 mins late for appointment with Dr. Nolan, he was very angry, his complexion turned very red and he yelled at me for being 1 minute close to over grace period. And he was upset when I tried to ask for him to explain my results. He said I asked too much question which was just very standard questions I've asked. He made me feel so low. 

Then another female PCP (they consider one of their top provider) aware of my condition that benefits from ESA and/or service dog she won't write a two sentence ESA letter though she spent so much time back and forth in internal chart email, and she told me to go online PETcert to pay $200 more and print it there when she's the one who knows my condition to provide the said letter since I was her patient.

I’ll list the positive first; I learned quite a bit in my year and a half with the company. 
With that being said, it is an incredibly toxic work environment in the business office. I can only speak for that department and haven’t heard negatives about any other department. The job descriptions are listed as entry level and it is far from that. You are expected to fully service a patients account (including billing, payments, possible coding errors, diagnosis code errors, etc) for minimum wage. It is continuously short staffed so the work load falls on the remaining employees, which would be fine if there was appreciation or compensation. There is not. If calls aren’t being answered quickly enough, you WILL receive an email in all caps alerting you that there are calls waiting. 
The job description isn’t bad at all and with an increased salary and different management, I’d still want to work there. 
Most other healthcare groups/companies offered employees who worked through the pandemic a bonus or OT. RMC did absolutely nothing and continued to say, “everyone is feeling the weight of the pandemic” as a response to any question of a token of appreciation. As if NOBODY getting anything made us feel better, even though duties doubled working through Covid. 

The opportunity given was a great start and began learning health education. Given respect from management and coworkers made the workplace welcoming and a great memory. Very outgoing supervisor and caring. Working with the patients needs and learning their concerns and health allowed me to begin maturing and understand the important needs of all individuals. Working my way up to being held responsible for the workplace in many areas made me look further in confidence and self-esteem. Feeling good about getting trusted and keeping down the floor. 
I enjoyed the luncheons and closed days spending with my family.
I had no issues that I can provide as too what may have I disliked about work. It was a great opportunity and a great starter for me to learn my skills.

Typical day I would get my shift by obtaining my assignment and get report from the off going shift. Then I made rounds checked all my patients making sure they were all stable and if any had any needs. Then chart check for new orders, Medication administration & hung all primary bags. Then accu- checks, assessment again of my patients,every 4 hours, unless on critical list then every hour checks. chart, order meds, clean my area, given report to oncoming nurse. 
Management taught of team work. The patient were my favorite part of the job, I love caring for them. The hardest for me was I don't think the patients are getting enough patient teaching. It was frustrating sometimes. I cant imagine doing anything else but nursing. I just love what I do. Plus I'm excellent at my job, and Im proud of that. Thank you

They are paying you $13 an hour to answer phone calls on call center, checking patients out & scheduling appts, Rescheduling appointments, Working on referrals internal/external. Management would rather pick on the people who DO work rather than the people who are hardly at their desk getting paid to do absolutely nothing. Definitely favoritism at this company. Being harassed by Management constantly to be told to take calls. They have people answering 160 calls a day, they are BEYOND short staffed. People are starting to leave. Nurses are being asked to float because they’re short staffed. 

Currently looking for another job. Love all the people I work with though.

I was employeed for 14 years, I can say with actual truth that this employer starting from dept management all the way to corporate leadership only care for themselves. If you are thinking about working for this company, be advised that they are expert deceivers. I promise you that they don't care about the staff, the one's that actually work. I had high hopes and witnessed glimpses of possible change but to no avail. I had the honor and privilege to meet some of the most amazing people who were employeed with me, from doctor's to nurses to office personnel, treated with absolute disrespect. I've been gone for a year and can say I am no longer angry, but this needed to be said, remember you've been warned. 

I worked for an Oncology/Hematology doctor for 11 years. I ran and did all front office duties and helped in the back office a little when needed. Admitted patients to the hospital, arranged appointments for chemo and specialized testing. Set up blood transfusions, phoned in drug orders to the hospitals and pharmacies. Did all the daily charges for the doctor and chemo nurse. Submitted referrals to the HMO department for services that needed to go through the review board. I enjoyed working for the doctor who taught me most of my work ethic that I still value and uphold still  to date. The staff and patients were a pleasure to come to work too everyday.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Worse place to work, managers only know how to manage their beauty procedures and over two hour lunches.  No diplomacy or tact.  That place is a joke it’s even worse now that UHS took over.  The place fell apart after that.  I was so lucky to get out of there and go somewhere 1000 times better.  The Doctors and co-workers were the only highlight.

Manager was terrible.  Huge expectations for little pay.  She just sat there looking in the mirror while we did all the work.

Non-Existant, oh and the amount of favoritism wow!

Being overworked and then told you aren’t doing your job.

Prior to the merger with UHS they had a great Managment team.

High expectations with low pay and personnel.

Prior to the merger it was a great environment, for the most part everyone cared about their job and working together to make the best experience for the patients. The culture was like a big family, it was large enough to allow room for growth but small enough to where the senior Managment still knew everyone’s names and who they were. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Rewarding but busy. Most hours were M-F 830-530

Most departments are understaffed, so be prepared to learn multiple jobs. They will manipulate you into learning different positions and then leave you wishing you hadn't when you see other staff members making the same paycheck as you and giving the bare minimum. Even more so, be prepared to see others who do not even have a HS diploma or other certifications working alongside you. Will not compensate you for being bilingual but will pull you into different departments to translate. Beware of HR as they will do anything to protect the company and higher ups, they will pick and choose who they will enforce policy on. The cafe is good though.
