First of all, the facility doesn't offer any benefits of any kind to their employees except for those in management positions; all you are offered is your paycheck that is paid semi-monthly. The CNA'S are overloaded with the amount of patients they are expected to care for and the majority are poorly trained. There is no room for growth for Nurses except for going back to school, getting your RN degree, and moving on to better opportunities unless, you are a part of cliques and friends with the right people. Nepotism and favoritism are accepted practices here. It is widely known among floor staff that Nurse Management is verbally abusive and unprofessional towards everyone except those in management positions; like many places, management backs management no matter what. The day to day operations on the floor are routinely unorganized and chaotic. The best part about working at this facility is some of the people working there, no matter what their title or department they work in; for the most part, they are friendly and really care about doing the best job that they can do for the residents.

-	Review intake percentages for previous week. (Weekly)
-	Prepare weekly weights for restorative crew & assist with weighing as needed. (Weekly)
-	Complete mock inspection in dietary (Daily)
-	Complete audit of diet cards to remove deceased residents and to ensure that new admits have diet cards in place. (weekly)
-	Observations and MDS s according to RAI schedule. (Weekly)
-	Care Plan meetings Wednesday 10am & 1:30pm / Thursday 1:30pm 
-	Audit diet listing with nursing (end of the month)
-	Weight variance meeting (beginning of the month)
-	Prepare intake & snack sheets for restorative staff (Friday)
-	Monitor residents during meals with special observation/attention of residents in RAI window.  (daily)
-	Interview residents In RAI window; update likes/dislikes/preferences and assess feeding functions and diet. 
-	Check dates and labeling in dietary cooler and storage areas (daily)
-	Fill in as needed in dietary according to dietary manager

There’s no structure , everyone’s everywhere...they have meetings about nothing , took almost three weeks for them to get me in the system, I didn’t get paid for the days I worked had to keep going to HR/payroll lady , she was rude asf. 

Supervisor was nowhere to be found most of the time it’s just too much and the conditions those residents live in are terrible , roaches crawling over their food , nats accumulating under there beds and even under their bodies. 


Hopefully they improve because I see this building getting shut down in the future if there’s no improvement.

Absolutely brilliant Administrator and DON. The company was purchased  by Traditions Senior Management in June 2017....a company who demands the highest level of quality of care. The Administrator is one of the most intelligent,  motivating and empowering empowering individuals I have met. He places residents first and foremost ensuring their needs are met.    I am grateful to be able to work  with a dynamic team of individuals and have a DON and an Administrator who are second to none is long term care.

If you have a problem with someone from management it gets weeped under a rug, they have poor training, favortism, and you can be lied on and if the people have worked together in the past of they are in similar status its your word against theirs. You are treated as your expendable, corporate is pretty decent but again when having a problem with someone from management your on your own. Fyi the next person to get my job wont be paid 14 an hr like I was, they were dieing to drop the wage they are cheap and selfish, the staff and management even some of the corporate people are rude. They just dont care.

I did not receive any 101 training, specially when indicated that I lacked experience In Operating side by side machinery. Definite Difficulties in organizing employee scheduling, The workplace culture isn’t professional; Almost every other day had to worry about if I was In jeopardy of losing employment based off Constant gossiping And manipulation,Sadly to say the only thing that I will say there is a pro about working at Rosemont was that travel distance

What is the best part of working at the company?
The NEW leadership of the facility is outstanding, they are really in tune with one another. Great TEAMWORK!!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As with all facilities, sometimes they are short staffed.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Communication is sometimes challenging, lots of strong different accents. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I am a formal employee. It was great working there.

This place is horrible they do not train the staff properly. There's a lot of favoritism and most of the staff does not speak english! They're always under staffed and management does not appreciate the staff that's there. If you are a new CNA this place will make you hate this field of work. However if you are experienced this place will under pay you and treat you horrible while expecting you to do more work without complaints

The owners and management do not care about the staff or the residents. Its only about making money. No organization. No Compassion for staff or residents of the facility. Staff never have the supplies that they need to get through an 8 hr. shift. Very short staffed most days. Residents do not have the necessities that they need. The place is never properly cleaned and sanitized.

It can be heavy physically sometimes

Great very friendly and very diverse all ethnic groups and everyone got along

Full of rewarding moments,fun seeing residents smile
