This will be extremely honest. Not here to bash, not here to praise.  I would view ServiceTitan as young and in this, you're sure to have many moving parts due to them attempting to find better ways to implement ideas for success. For you this means, you clearly seeing a goal is unobtainable, but you'll still be held to it only for it to change the next month. They will not go back the month prior nor admit a mistake, you're just stuck. 


I won't go into details out of the respect I have for any company I've worked for, but the leads system just is all over the place. This isn't based upon just me, but many many others who's voiced their opinions openly and silently. Wish I could give more details.  

The worst part is the inconsistency on how they lay people off. You "could" do well each month and don't hit a goal one month and you're on a pip to be fired in 30 days. Meanwhile someone else could be on a pip and get zero sales at the end of that month and still keep their job.  You're constantly reminded each week to step it up or you're fired when a supervisor is supposed to support and encourage you, not make you work off of fear.  One could read this and chalk it off as a gripe, but when you're hiring some of the best sales people across the country that come from all sorts of different selling backgrounds, and still a churn and burn environment is created, you're one day going to have to look at the company. 

Good things, - extremely friendly staff. this is a bad job for someone that doesn't have integrity because they will not check up on you all the time and trust that you're off doing the right thing. They will compensate you pretty well and go above and beyond to give you the proper equipment to do your job.  

Work life balance is great. You can put your laptop away when you clock out, or you can work overtime every week to help increase your goals. This isn't a company that worries they are paying people too much money of overtime. If you want to work , they will let you. 

All in all, it appears they for the most part do recognize areas for improvement and are open-minded enough to change it. But as of right now, if you aren't going to be one of the top sellers there, you better hit goal every single month and I don't care if you take vacation or get sick, you "could" find yourself on paperwork that very next month which could be your last. 

I worked with ServiceTitan as their Seasonal Live Service Agent, between the months April 2024 to August 2024. As part of their third party remote call center, my typical day would involve taking calls from customers who want to make an appointment for their AC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. 

At first its engaging to speak with customers and assisting them in booking an appointment, as well as asking them diagnosing questions about their systems. The satisfaction in speaking with a customer, learning about their story and assisting them with a booking date that meets their needs will never not be dry. 

However, after a month into the job, it became clear to me that you are very limited with what you can and with the assistance you have with supervisors.

Customers would call you about particular details about pricing, services, requesting a particular technician or etc, but at the most all you can do is send emails to the head office for them to respond back answering the customer's concern. As we represent an Appointment Booking line, with no direct method of contacting the head office. For me, it the role became monotonous and mentally draining to state the same answers every time to the customer. 

I found the workplace culture to be pretty limited as well. You are expected to post every update about your activity in a group chat which adds on to the repetitive nature of the job. Supervisors would hassle you about not updating your status and where not that helpful nor knowledgeable about any issues that arise. And in brief, I found meeting with the Supervisors for weekly performance reviews to be demoralizing! Not because I did poorly at the job, but the way they speak to you and treat you made me feel like a mindless drone. 

All in all, once I finished my contract I was glad to be out of the job! I am thankful for the opportunity to work with ServiceTitan as a Seasonal, I am elated to not be working with them any longer!

I worked with them for a little over a month. The trainers are kind and welcoming. As well as very encouraging. Ultimately, the would-be 17 weeks of training were overwhelming. I was falling behind in my training and was struggling to figure out how to get the required days off for my medical treatments for my Multiple Sclerosis. Service Titan did seem to be willing to help with getting the time mentioned above off, however, it was through a 3rd party company that did not clarify things. The form for it seems to be more so for time off in regards to surgery, pregnancy, and the likes. Not for things like reoccurring medical treatments.

I did enjoy the welcoming nature of the company. Would I recommend working for them? If you get overwhelmed easily, no. It can be a lot of information to take in. If you are looking for a welcoming company, as well as one with good benefits, the answer is yes, I would recommend working for them.

SDR-sales development rep., this was a sales position so obviously alot of cold calling and trying to reach the decision maker. 
They supplied me with great equipment, everything you could ask for when it comes to working remotely. Good leads lists and amazing training. I basically got a education on the service industry and their business operations and how ST impacts not just the business but the people behind the biz. It is hard not to become a company evangelist. 

My OPINION and experience here has been marred by poor management, indifferent HR practices, and a toxic work culture. Management discourages going above and beyond, HR seems to dismiss complaints, and communication breakdowns create a disconnected atmosphere. Customer support faces unrealistic metrics, and the advertised "unlimited PTO" is restrictive. Management lacks product knowledge, and performance reviews seem to be more subjective than objective. The company culture, despite claims of progressiveness, from my experience, harbors misogyny and even some cases of borderline harassment. While the pay may be tempting, I strongly advise job seekers to explore other opportunities for a healthier work environment.

I can honestly say this is one of the greatest companies to work for in the world.  I have never had a particularly 'bad' job to begin with, but ServiceTitan is a cut above the rest in every way.  A very laid-back, yet hard-working culture permeates there.  The company holds itself to a very high standard and holds it's employees to that same standard, which leads to a bit of stress now and then.  Truth be told, the job security is only there if you are up to snuff; if you aren't the top notch in your respective field, you won't last too long.  All told, I loved my experience there.  The benefits and perks are unrivaled, the management is fantastic, and the culture is second to none.

This was the best benefit package I’ve ever received from a job by a long shot. The work is challenging and rewarding. I would still work here if I hadn’t moved too far to commute to the office. There are a lot of great extra little things they do to make you feel appreciated constantly and it made me want to go above and beyond in my position.

I will be honest and the only reason I left this company was because I was offered two times the salary base elsewhere. This was an amazing journey and if you can get onboard you will have the best of all worlds. This company cares and if you give a ____ about your career you can thrive. Being an SDR is a stepping stone and if you can survive 6 months at ServiceTitan you can do anything! Only advice is senior management needs to stop playing favorites to certain management members and put business before friendship! 

Overall, it’s fine. The benefits outweigh the negatives but boy are there negatives. I personally can never get support when I need it, I find myself burnt out most days, and I dread having to work because I know someone is going to be mad at me about something, whether it’s a customer or a manager. My manager struggles with listening, as any time I ask for help, he replies with ‘sorry, was that for me?’. When you’re on a zoom with one person and one person only, yes, the question was for you. 

People here are great and super supportive. When you join the company, everyone is there for you, to help you learn and do the best you can. The culture of the company is great. Not only are you encouraged to support your colleagues but you're also encouraged to help the community. 

Volunteering is a big part of the company, along with trust and Customer Success are one of out most important values. We're not just saying it. We're actually practicing it too. Having joined ServiceTitan when we were a smaller company and now now 800+ within 3 years is huge.
