To be honest, I really enjoyed working there. I liked most of my coworkers and I think most of them liked me. Most were friendly and welcoming. This was my first, real career-level job. I liked what I did everyday and it felt good to work for a company that puts patients first. I felt important and like I was making a difference. I did not, however, think the workload expected of me was fair nor reasonable. To get things done effectively and in a timely manner, this job really requires two people. I very seldom took my breaks, except lunch. I did not waste time socializing. I worked as hard as I could, yet still I could not keep up. I made some mistakes, which I worked hard to correct and improve upon. I was not given much chance to prove myself. I was terminated after working there for 7 months. The "coaching" I received was basically my manager telling me what I did wrong. It was obvious she has never done this job, so she does not understand the effort and time it takes to perform all of the required tasks. I really thought I would be there for many years. I learned a lot though, and I am grateful to them for that.

worked there for 8 months. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP company. management are conservative and religious . you can not wear sweater over your scrubs in winter, you can not apply lipstick. your scrubs should be 2 size larger than your actual size . you can not pump for your baby even in private room if you are a new mom.

Pay is not good. workload is really heavy. you have to do EVERYTHING.  
They will ask you to clock off and work for free sometimes. 

patients are really poor and sometimes they can not offer even 2 $ ibuprofen. there are lots of drug seeker and its very hard to work with them since they do everything to get their pain medication.

last thing: management are not good. they replace you , terminate you very easily.
 for 8 months i worked there, 4 people got terminated .

I would only advise applying here if an applicant is first entering the medical assisting field. The pay is poor, the benefits are passable and the hours are long. It's a decent place to cut your teeth in the field but not for long term employment. Even with exceptional credentials and an exemplary work ethic opportunities for advancement are virtually non-existent. Added to this management emphasizes netting as many patients as possible even if it means a hostile, if not downright dangerous work environment. The aforementioned reasons combine to create a very high turnover rate so don't get too attached to your fellow employees as over half of them will be working with you for less than a year.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people i work with is so amazing. The company itself is amazing and very supportive. This has been one of the best jobs i ever had. They have great benefits and just overall amazing i was sad i had to leave due to my personal health issues but I recommend this job to anyone looking to get into the medical field or would like to be apart of a company that treats you like family. I loved it here and i miss everyone i worked with here. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes i would get crazy calls but other than that it was awesome

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Every welcoming, open to all race and background. Very supportive

Worked at CHC for 4 yrs and the lack of management skills and respectfulness to employees is terrible coming from the practice manager. Theres no consistency and the manager will suck up to you and be nice only when it's in their benefit, a lot of favoritism. Theres nothing upper management/HR will do to support their employees when there's a dispute or disagreement with the clinic manager. All other support staff is amazing, but when you have to deal with poor management it's not worth it. Chc is very "quality measures" focused and sometimes forgets about the "mission and vision" they claim to stand for in regards to the patients and their employees.

Best company I've ever worked for. Great benefits and coworkers. The company obviously wants high employee retention. I have no dependents but I get medical, dental and vision at no cost, a retirement plan match, pretty generous PTO and paid holidays. This year we got a gift card for the holidays as a gesture of employee appreciation. In terms of PT, this place is a diamond in the rough. Not many outpatient clinics like this.

I was there for years. I learned a great deal in being cross-trained for other positions. Unfortunately, you have to speak with angry patients every day. This is a very high stress job. There are a lot double standards. The upper management plays favorites. Only people who are "liked" are promoted from within. DO NOT WORK HERE!!

Lack of adequate training. No one seems to know what they’re doing.

The environment in the clinic I was working in is coming toxic 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
10 hours in a very toxic environment

Working here I was able to learn and grow so much. 
My patients and my provider make this job incredibly easy and fulfilling.
There's room for growth and improvement everyday. It was a great pleace to learn and strengthen my skills.
I worked closely with my provider, outside and community resources, the front desk and patient care specialists to provide the best care for the patients.

This was my first clinic job as I didn't have any medical background. I learned a lot about clinic culture and health insurance. My typical work day is mainly focused on customer service and taking care of patients which is fun because I like helping people. This job has the best management system and people that work inside. I'm happy that I found this job!
