Horrible onboarding, definitely not what they “sold” at the beginning. I struggle to find the concierge aspect to this business model as there is hardly proper training to the staff to provide a concierge expierence. Lack of true leadership just a bunch of men with titles. No advancement or growth. Labor laws are constantly violated. You will be asked to do things out of your job description. They do not trust their own employees. There is a culture of saying yes to all patients all the time and being at the beck and call of medical partners. Acuity of patients has risen, many chronically ill patients will use the facility as their PCP. You will see celebrities and high value people however, you will be not be respected as a medical professional because they will essentially tell you what they want and you are expected to do it even if there is no medical need. Membership is low. Low threshold for clientele. There are more chronically ill patients/mentally ill patients than the “celebrity” patient they tell you you’ll be taken care of. 

Really interesting place to work since you work with extremely wealthy and high end clients. But that is where it stops. There is a lot of favoritism and many issues with top management telling clinical staff what to do. The doctors are put in a position where they need to comply. Company is ran by money not a medical need. The patients get what they want because they have money not because it is medically recommended. Rules are bent for some patients and not others. Members are promised things by membership/sales in return for signing up (yes medical needs) without consulting the clinical team. Very dangerous it only take 1 patient have a bad experience. Need to manage expectation that though we are a concierge based medical facility we are  not just doing anything and everything for you.

The new CEO seems like a great leader unfortunately more direct supervisors and managers left a lot to be desired. Poor communication, lack of consideration for mid level providers, constant changes made to our role/ responsibilities, number of hours required on site vs remote etc. Essentially accepted what was presented as a remote role, however over the months the role became over 80% on site/in person with additional responsibilities added that were outside of the original job description. There was no renegotiation of compensation with these dramatic changes. 

So I applied for this company as a covid screener. that's it. Very simple job. 

But the way they run things is so overwhelming and they make it more complicated. Basically you have to sign up for all the unnecessary things/emails/apps/ etc. that doesn't even relate to your job title. So when you sign up, you will receive every little email that doesn't even relate to your own job title. I saw the email about a patient, I saw conversations regarding sensitive patient information that doesn't even relate to me. It's crazy. 

They try so hard to run with technology and to be modernize but they can't keep up. it's so disorganize. 

The only thing that I got from this company is a bottle of water and a bag with their logo. What a complete joke. I wasted my time applying. 

Sollis Health has become a busy place. 
Members start to treat this membership-based private urgent care as their primary at times.  You’ll find yourself scheduling a PCP appointment for a member, when they can simply do it themselves. The time they’ve spent calling Sollis could have been the equal time calling their provider to book their annual appointment. It’s almost like being an assistant to 5,000 members.  The diversity is amazing. You’ll find yourself realizing that we are all the same with a variety of salaries. Sollis is very supportive with personal needs. Unfortunately, they are still in the works on structure. But I’m hoping they will get it together in the next upcoming months. 

They expect you to learn things in 2-3 days and throw you back into the job. Members get angry at you for not knowing what you're doing which leads to complaints from them and complaints from management that things aren't flowing smoothly, when it's their fault for not training you properly and not giving everyone the same training. Some people know more than others and nobody communicates. They lay off people constantly and have unrealistic goals for call quality and length of time. Only pros were enjoying other coworkers and constantly talking to everyone to try and help each other out when nobody in higher positions would. 

The recruiter promises everyone Monday-Friday day shifts yet they are open 7 days a week 24 hours a day so obviously they need coverage. Then the staff turns on one another because no one in management wants to assume the responsibility of scheduling. 

Management team is extremely unprofessional. They talk about patients and their families without regard for HIPPA. Lots of promises none are kept. It is unfortunate because it could be a good job if the correct management was in place. 

You can start off having a role doing one thing and then you turn around and now your job consists of 4/5 other things. The workday is ovewhelming, there's no room for growth unless you're liked or have a role of something the higher ups consider important. Pretty much if you don't directly effect money coming in then there's no chance for you to move up. They care more about opening locations than the "little people" that help those locations run. Definition of big business.

Amazing company to work for. The staff is incredible in all they do for the members. Company is growing rapidly in terms of employees, members, and new markets. The team culture is the best one I’ve been a part of in a long time. Employees and immediate family get free memberships. There is tremendous amount of support from upper management and executives when needed. Centers aren’t as busy as a regular ER which eliminates burn outs.

I think Sollis is a great company. I feel they are motivated to do better all the time for the employees and the patients. I feel comfortable knowing they offer competitive pay and fair scheduling. Of course when you are a 24/7 operation there are hiccups but over-all the organization is growing and the concept of on demand emergency care is ground-breaking.
