If you randomly decide to search up the definition of “gaslighting and manipulation” this job would fit the description. 

-In order for you to receive the pay you actually deserve for whatever/whichever position; you would need to know upper management personally. 

-If you advance in the company, you will never get training and so much is expected out of you, which to me personally doesn’t make sense.

-Overworking? Understatement. But the fun part about it is the mystery game of which person from upper management will call to ask questions on why you’re about to touch overtime despite never having staff <3

-Upper management has absolutely no experience in food service what so ever. You can get descriptive and tell them X, Y, and Z needs to be done and instead of believing you, will take their time to research just to make “sure” when in all, these are simple things that are supposed to be known by upper management. 

- YOUNGER KIDS, do not apply here unless you know your workers rights. Will take extreme advantage of you. 

- Also extremely unprofessional for upper management to have relations. At least keep it a secret. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of this job was the Paid breaks, decent pay for service manager position, and the healthy work/co worker environment. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part about the job was the fact that it was difficult to find a work/life balance. The scheduling was terrible and they expected their workers to pull multiple double shifts through out the week with only two days off. (Which weren’t consecutive). The weekly schedules
We’re always different, a the higher up management team will set high expectations and make you feel terrible for making human mistakes. They cared very little about their workers mental health, even when presented with valid medical excuses. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment was pretty good, besides when the higher up management was there, it made you feel like you were walking on eggshells.

The job was challenging in many aspects, with little room for growth. The company lacked quality management and didn’t provide proper support for leadership development. While they tried to improve with monthly leadership meetings, working conditions were poor, leading to physical issues like sciatica. Promotions were usually reactive, given after someone was fired, and training was insufficient. The high volume of work, low pay, and inconsistent hours made the position unsustainable. At times, egos and mismanagement compromised both my physical and mental safety.
  
However, we’re all human, and mistakes happen. I did enjoy working with some incredible individuals and have made lasting friendships—what I like to call “trauma bonding.” The relationships I built there have had a long-term positive impact on my life.

If you're looking to grow and work with people who treat you humane, STEER FAR AWAY from this company. You will be OVERWORKED and UNDER COMPENSATED. There are a lot of empty promises made and lack of respect within management. No space for growth and you will get treated poorly depending your location. Higher ups have no regard for the people who keep the business afloat and running , don't expect any additional compensation for exceeding company standards or going above and beyond. All stemming from higher management who is always condescending towards you regardless of your experience, who think they know everything and disregard actual core values that keep a company running with out insane turnover. 

I worked at Springbone for over a year and got to know the ins and outs of the place. The people were great, but management was terrible. The owners have no experience with businesses and the only reason they are successful is because they serve cuisine catered to a specific set of people (gf and those who pretend to be gluten free)  While there, new management was brought in, because even their head chef abandoned them, but the new GM was somehow worse. He catered to his friends mainly and promoted those individuals instead. Also, very unprofessional of the GM to have romantic relationships with his employees. 

Good as a summer job. Don’t stay longer.

Beware, your chances on getting a fair interview and proper training is very slim. The HR manager seems to be inexperience when it comes to hiring team members/service managers for positions they are qualified for.  With over 13 years experience and several accolades in the food industry, I was overlooked by employees who have had zero background knowledge in the food industry. They want yes men, not anyone who actually stands out and  has a personality and knows their worth. Poor communication, poor training, low morale, and they lack empathy.

Do your self a favor and work for a place that actually values your contributions and confidence. Also, to note everyone looked miserable working there. 

My experience working at Springbone so far has personally been full of nothing but friendly, professional, and above all - understanding people. It is one of the only places I’ve ever received proper and in depth training. You don’t feel expendable and the atmosphere isn’t toxic like most restaurants, they actually treat you like a human being. My trainers, managers, and coworkers were all kind, patient, and really took the pressure off of being in a brand new environment. I’m also a STEM major and they worked with me to find a schedule that works! Great job for college students and also full time workers, the work is very straight forward and you get tips! :)))

This is by far my absolute favorite job that I've had. My coworkers and managers have been a joy to work with and try their best to always accommodate my needs. Work can be fast paced and busy, especially at lunch and dinner times, but as expected with a casual food chain. Locations don't close too late at night and aren't open super early, so the hours to work are good. There is also a training period in the first two weeks of being hired which really helped me be more confident while working after the two weeks. Overall I've been really enjoying it and I look forward to going into work and seeing my coworkers again. 

I’ve truly enjoy working at Springbone Kitchen. Since working at Springbone  Ive learned  something new from all levels. From ownership, management and team members they are all so willing to help out and coach one another. 
In this industry there will always be harder days than other but it’s truly all about how you  push through, with a team that’s always willing to help and eager  to know what else they can do for you makes the day so much easier. Very close knit family like teams in all locations 

poor management support, no work/life balance as they always want you to come in and cover shifts, pay is very low for everyone, including team and managers, no communication between managers, all managers do something different and creates headaches, care more about new stores then stores already open, this is good job for quick food industry entry or students, but not long term, too much work for minimum wage(you cook and use ovens, clean, make all food, and serve).
