Stallergenes Greer has gone through 3 CEO's within 5 years, and because of this the company has had a high turnover rate. Working in the Costumer Service or in HR or as a desk job is a great job because they have wonderful appliances and often they have free lunches and group activities for the holidays. Unfortunately the Production departments have poor management and they lack the fancy things that the other building has. I would not recommend Stallergenes Greer for Production, however as a stationary job I think the customer service jobs are great.

To say this place was toxic is a gross understatement. Management is only self serving and clearly plays favourites. It was like walking on egg shells at all times. Departments didn’t trust each other, it was very much a “gotcha!” environment, and people were always throwing each other under the bus for menial issues. 

The lack of a training program for white collar jobs was interesting. You were left to fend for yourself while others stayed at home. How they chose who was remote and who wasn’t seemed to be who was favourited by management. 

To sum up my experience, toxic. No wonder they can’t keep anyone there. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
I met some good people but I hated the job.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They have their favorites that are hired after you and train them for the job you was hired for first.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No one talks to you. It’s all in who you are.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very stressful and they tell you you work from 6:45-2:45. If your a sterile tech your lucky to get off by 4. Very seldom do you get off at 2:45.

It is a small company so one is able to help others and learn new things in the process. Overtime (at least in the job position I held) was uncommon, it was essentially a Monday throught Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM job. I always got good cooperation from people in other departments whenever I needed their help to complete my tasks. I would not mind at all working there again if I had to.

StallergenesGreer is a good place to work in the region but pay compensation between management and hourly employees is rather wide. Small town feel and friendly atmosphere, but opportunities to move up are often determined on your status within the social hierarchy.

It used to be one of the best companies to work for. When they were sold things went south and a monopoly was created by giving one manager too much power. There are never consequences for that individual that makes rules up as they go and has the ability to Hold you back from any advancement because of personal disagreement or not liking you for whatever reason. 

Only staying for benefits at the moment.

Office politics boil down to how Christian you can act till you have enough ammunition to tattle on someone for something asinine just to get a pat on the head for being I little security camera

The management is terrible and employees are continuously bickering. Employees are unhappy and morale is terrible. There is also a lot of gaslighting going on which ensures that a person won't be successful in their role. There is absolutely no support from management and HR embraces that culture. 

Good place to work, if you live in the area. The pay isn’t competitive though compared to other pharmaceutical companies like in the RDU/Triangle region. Facilities and work environments are clean and kept up to standard. No set work schedule for manufacturing. Work hours change depending on the  demand.

The best part of the company was the views. It sits on top of a mountain.The bad manager that I was unfortunate enough to work with is no longer there.
