Worked for them for months and got my fiancé and my neighbor hired on and they laid us off soon as the big work rush was over in December right before Christmas, without giving a heads up or anything!! They let you go each day 15 - 20 minutes early so you will never reach a full 40 hours a week They show favoritism towards the pretty females and females who are willing to flirt back with the higher ups. The company has only been around 2 years so managers allow their friends to get the easiest jobs that barely require work. The managers and leads date the employees so when work needs to be started on or finished  the said boyfriend or girlfriend goes and stands with the person they’re dating and talks until the break. 15 minute breaks aren’t minded so you have employees returning to work 10 to 15 minutes late leaving all the slack on the people who return on time. When it came to music if anything other than corridos music/ Spanish music was played people complained. They’d play Spanish music extra loud but then would down the hip hop or Rap. The females would play slow R&B music loudly throughout the warehouse while you’re trying to keep up a fast pace of work.

I think the leadership at TechStyle definitely have good intentions, but I think they're still finding ways on how to execute accordingly. You know they care about their employees. 

The culture depends largely on which department or business unit you're a part of. Some are better than others. The one I'm a part of has an extremely stressful environment. The hardest part of the job is having to deal with the politics and constant change in direction and the organization's tendency to do things reactively and in a haphazard manner. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is that people also love to celebrate successes and each other. There's also plenty of corporate social responsibility and employee training/engagement. There are plenty of good people around, and the benefits are great.

I was at first working as a temp. My experience was very relaxing, every day was a new day to meet more people. I got hired on, and I everything was the same, the same faces, the same environment, the benefit of listening to your own music was a plus too. I took a day off because my car broke down and had to fix it, I texted the manager and he said he marked me off which counts as one point. I took another day off because felt very sick, and I got a call saying I was laid off. I have never been late past the time to be counted as late. The manager insisted on telling me I missed two days and consecutively came late, which was false. Other than that, you meet great people, you can listen to your own music, the compensation is alright for a student, and the hours are good. I enjoyed my time there, another day was another adventure in a way with your coworkers. But such horrible management.

Working here has been one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had people thrive of off cliques in gossip. Management is rude and full of failed promises. It’s not easy to move up in the company like they make it seem. You’re not valued and don’t even think about getting sick during a pandemic because if you do and you can’t find coverage even though you can’t see anyone else’s schedule you’ll get punished for it. Don’t work here it’s not worth your time and you’ll probably be underpaid for it. Everyone gets a different wage for the same position. Manger went on vacation twice this month even though store was understaffed and got mad when no one could find coverage when half the staff was sick.

Working with management, they already had top priorities. Leads would step on anyone wanting more than sub work

Working with lead personnel. Always thinking I wanted their position

If you weren't in the so called 'click' you were ousted

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I did my job, and did it well. In replen I was a trainer. Once I moved to outbound the head lead guy and I didn't get along. I was released

The management is great, very understanding, and accommodating. Work culture is amazing, with so many perks, fun events, free stuff, free food sometimes. The only issue I had, was that there's this odd standoffish vibe between the brands. Fabletics team think they run the place. A little catty/cliquey. A lot of teams talk bad about each other. Made me feel hesitant about sharing info or even letting myself get close to my coworkers. Also, a bit unorganized. We'd be working on a project and a couple of weeks later the brand decides they don't need it anymore. Waste of time. 

Working here was really easy to learn, the workers are all nice! It can be really slow when it is not peak season and the days feel so long. However, they offer a lot of vto and i enjoyed working the 1st shift as i had school too. I did not like how leads had family members/boyfriends and they would place them on work that they wanted to do, while they would rotate others to do harder work. But keep the people they know on the same easy position for weeks. I did have a lead who was awesome, but the others just sat on their desk unless the supervisor was in. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
This would be a good place to work if the politics weren't so much in effect. You have to really suck up to leadership in order for you to advance in your career. I would not advise anyone to work there. Plus the company is going under soon

Lazy most of the time there is no work so you get vto with no pay. And if you want to stay they give you a hard time 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
No much work at all. Trying not to fall asleep

Working here was great to start, after a while I realized that corporate and management plays favorites and don't care if you work hard or not. I've had multiple meetings to apply for a management role, even with the most experience and highest sales, they continued to higher other people who were "friends" with the managers.

Not a place to get your hours, and definitely no overtime. Very laid back environment in building 1 anyway. Building 2 is very different.  I've worked here for almost 3 years. If u work 10 hour shifts, u get 15 min breaks. Picker rate is more like 94 an hour, not the 200 that I read in another review.  I don't understand management at this place at all, and I used to enjoy working here. Not a place that u can climb the ladder either. But it's an ok place to work. Very easy. Pay is descent for what u do.
